If your over 21 take a shot every time the commentators say anything about Kathryn Plummer. Absolutely love her she’s such an inspiration and my favourite player of all time. But if you want a drinking game it’s right here😂
49:32 this is why I can’t stand Paul! Megan meclure just got a beautiful kill and he raves about Kathryn Plummer’s pass? I mean we get it YOU LOVE PLUMMER! I do too I think she’s incredible but like it’s sounds like your in love with her! Also 49:40
i’m honestly not really mad that minnesota lost bc they improved a lot they also made this game like last year they lost to oregon and all our hearts fell bc of that but they were so gold this year and maybe next year they can make this game again but make the championship ship game
To this day, I wonder if Holly Rowe knows what she’s talking about when it comes to volleyball. When she was interviewing Hugh McCutcheon after the second set, she was like “Seems like you went to a little more tempo in that set...” 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Both teams will lose a lot of their star players after this season, talk about rebuilding for Stanford after Plummer, Fitzmorris, Grey, McClure, and Hentz. Minnesota loses Hart, K. Miller, not sure if Pittman is returning for 2020, since she was a redshirt junior. They have Samedy returning for 2020.
@@rachellee9514 I hope so too. Kipp, the #1 recruit in the country, shared playing time with McClure in the early part of the season and then it became just McClure. I think because McClure was a better passer and defender. Kipp, needs to work on her passing and defense in the off season for sure!
Don't feel sorry for Minny, they bring in #1 recruiting class in 2020 with #1 Player and recruit in the country, Taylor Landfair. They bring in a dynamic setter in Shaffmaster, the #3 recruit in the country in Jenna Wenaas, and the best libero in the 2020 class in my opinion.
@@thechameleon808 yea I very much thought so too .McClure is a great all-around player. She's only a junior so luckily they have her to play the leadership role next year. Kipp has a lot of potential as well as Berty when I saw her in a couple matches. Not sure how the future starting libero and setter (Selina Xu?) will be, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Barring any injuries from the outsides of USA, I doubt that she's going to Tokyo. Her best shot at a slot is at Opposite but Drews, Lowe and even Thompson have more valuable experience than her.
These commentators... goodness gracious. Not only can they not stop talking about Kathryn Plummer (neither can I though) but they just sound like they have favoritism for Stanford. Stanford’s great, but when Minnesota’s libero made that great save with a pancake, they said how “Morgan Hentz doesn’t have to resort to an emergency pancake bc she’s just so fast” like chillllll
Morgan Hentz isn't human! Her reaction time to the volleyball is "other-worldly" and at Libero she is amazing and has been for her entire colligate career. Just watch her and you'll understand just how amazing that young lady is! Yes, Minnesota did a great job but they were no match for the juggernaut that was Stanford. Kat Plummer is just in a league by herself. She's 6' 6" and a killer! She has been for her entire life! When she's on she is virtually unstoppable and very few can touch her... just the way it is.
I love that she got the final kill to win the championship and McClure did the year prior. All the Stanford hitters played with essentially no fear the past couple seasons
28:57 they’re talking about how she’s 6’ and undersized as a hitter when i’m literally a 5’4 left wing spiker 😳 i guess it doesn’t look like i have a future in college volleyball considering i’m a sophomore in highschool lmaoo
its so unfair for the depender. you guys always praise the setter of stanford. she can set the ball because of the good pass. as a setter nothing ordenary she doin.
She barely EVER doubles and has amazing location and tempo not to mention her blocking but you also have to take in account her choices because you don’t see that as much from just watching😊
She is a phenominal setter. As a setter myself it is so hard to not double and she blocks and she has a very high volleyball IQ. With that being said I can understand no noticing all of that if you don't see her as much.
Exactly, they always praise her but never fail to say how almost every ball she gets is coming right at her. In my opinion Sydney Hilley should be getting the hype. She’s so good.
@@valentinag3770 I know this comment is old but it's like to add that it's not just that though. It's not often you see the middle get out to the pin as well as Standford.
Their blocking has always been good with a lot of players, in the 2018 semifinals against BYU middle hitter Alade blocked at least 14 hits some even back to back😭🤯
@@potatoprsk im srryyy i forget about their amazing senior class plus meghan and taylor, but what i mean is the commentators will comment on plummer and hence the most since they are probably their most important players, obviously everyone else will get their respected headlines
austin hebert lol they do sometimes and they talk about her a lot and they need to talk about the other players more but it’s hard to when Plummer is such a great player
NCAA Championships I NEED a replay of the 2018 regional semifinal match between MN and Oregon. After all these years still no full match anywhere and that was a classic! I know a lot of people that would love to watch that match again!
I’d say Formico as libero, McClure and Kipp outside(possible DS for kipp) Xu setter, Fidelak opposite, Campbell and Vicini middles. Unless any good freshman come in
Hambly said Stanford learned that they couldn’t just show up and beat Minnesota. This year, ASU taught them a similar lesson in Tempe. With so many programs, Stanford has double-digit match winning streaks… but you can’t assume a win.
