Stanislav Zhukovsky: A collection of 262 paintings (HD)
Description: "Stanislav Zhukovsky was born into the family of an aristocrat deprived of his property and rights of nobility for his involvement in the Polish Revolt of 1863. More in-depth studies of the reasons revealed that the reasons were economical rather than political. Stanislav Zhukovsky’s father most likely did not take part in the revolt, but lost his entail property as a result of economic sanctions inflicted on the revolt sympathizers. As a result Yury Zhukovsky could not keep the family estate in property and became its tenant, as well as most of other representatives of the Byelorussian-Polish nobles. The revolt defeat, exile of his father’s brothers, the loss of his patrimonial estate, the family’s troublesome financial situation and vanished hopes had a substantial impact on the psychoemotional perception of the reality by the artist.
Contrary to the will of his father Stanislav Zhukovsky left for Moscow to study painting in 1892. He took classes from Isaac Levitan and graduated from the Moscow Painting, Sculpture and Architecture College. From 1895 Stanislav Zhukovsky participated in exhibitions of the Itineraries. In 1899 his canvass Moonlight Night was acquired by the Tretyakov Gallery.
By the early 20th century Stanislav Zhukovsky became one of the most famous impressionist landscape painters in Russia. He also took part in exhibitions of the World of Art group.
The artist lived preferentially in Moscow. He organized a private school there and taught from 1907 till 1917. He traveled a lot across Central Russia and studied ancient manor estates.
In 1923 the artist immigrated to Poland. In 1930 Joseph Brodsky and other friends persuaded the artist to return to the USSR, but he remained in Poland.
During World War II the artist was arrested by the Nazis.
Stanislav Zhukovsky died in the concentration camp in Prushkov in 1944."

Спасибо, что этот светлый человек оставил нам исчезающую красоту русских дворянских усадеб. Дореволюционная Россия давно канула в Лету, и вместе с ней этот уютный , старый мир. А мы имеем возможность им любоваться.

Very good videocast Jessica, you have done an excellent job in explaining things very clearly and in doing so you have maintained Guy's impeccable style that has made Coinbureau a world phenonmenon. I am still having stormy thoughts about getting into Crypto myself, so learning about it and hearing your reports has made me see that the revolution is going ahead without me, but at least I have a better idea of how Bitcoin's value is calculated and the like. What I believe is the way to invest in crypto is to say to oneself for example, "I can afford to lose 20,000 in my country's currency so that is all I will invest for the time being."
