heenez On listening to this again I think you're right. I think I was probably over-impressed by how closely he followed Stanley's lines on the 1st track. Have to admit I didn't watch the whole gig.
heenez I respect your opinion but disagree as I found Copeland's drumming a significant positive especially when dealing with dynamics - building from subtle splash to power driven crescendos. I thought his playing added a powerful an complex compliment to the rhythm that carried each tune.
+heenez have you seen other stuff with Stanley and Stewart? He easily holds his own with Stanley which is why he plays with Stanley. Yeah I know you're a jazz/rock/fusion blah blah blah...
Is the first song even a song? The guitar player sounds like a million other guys with an over processed sound. Sorry guys after seeing this I wouldn't buy a ticket or buy the album. No dynamics or passion
