I've used jump packs like this to Start my car. Yes, Ive even used to to Jump start my Crane.
Its a nice unit to have. If you have it stored in your car/truck in the winter you will want to bring it in periodically to give it a top-off recharge. To be on the safe side. Positive and Negative cables are 22 - 22 1/2" long. So the jump pack will be close to where the battery is. You can set the compressor to automatically turn off once it has reached a specified PSI.
My one complaint is that it would be nice to have a longer hose for the air compressor. I measured the hose as it exits the case and it is only 21" long. Nothing worse than having the valve on your tire up at the top and not being able to reach it. With some vehicles, you might be able to set this on top of a tire if there is clearance in the wheel well.
