Here an item i been wanting to get for some time now, finally dropped the money and got one... The Stanley Fry Pan... Vary nice piece of kit... Lets take a look and cook some food.
Heard your comment you can get mini size tongs 1.44 at Walmart a great addition to any cook set good idea liked your video got my tongs going to get this frying pan 👍🏽
I came for the frying pan review but WOW!!! The chow looks awesome! Your last bacon wrapped deliciousness video and this one are just too much for my poor taste buds. Guess what we're having for dinner tonight along with Mexican street corn? yum-o!!!
I bought it but I notice when putting it away that the lid does not clamp properly on the pan. So this one falls off. I bought a second copy and this one also has the lid falling off. Has anyone had the same problem?
I am so glad that you said that you washed your set. Almost every initial review I watch, most do not wash their cook set, gross!!! They then cook in them right out of the package and eat the food!!
I purchased this recently and the lid does not fit. Does anyone else have this issue? I got it specifically because it has the plastic lid so I can put it away dirty without it making a mess in my bag. I turned the pan upside down with the lid on the ground and put all my weight on it and it still does not go on...just wondering if I got a bad one or if they are all like this?
I just had the same issue with the one I bought. It had new packaging, I returned it for the one left on the shelf that had the old packaging and it's fine. Not sure if there was some sort of design change recently or not.
Been eyeing one of these sets up for a while now..but not so many here in the UK.. So how's it going ? Still love it? Any sticking issues with eggs.? Cheers 🏴✌🏼
I have this kit, and it’s awesome!! I’ve used it with several different cooking sources. One thing about SS is that it’s almost indestructible. So what if it gets sooty or heat stained... it’ll clean up. I agree about the tongs. I saw a pair of SS tongs online once. Actually, one spork and one spoon, that clipped together to make a pair of tongs. Have been looking, but can’t find them now.
I think I would strain the oil through a coffee filter or cheese cloth .but good video all in all the Stanley fry pan is a good pan. The way to tell is try using it on your kitchen stove first it heat well . Did you know you can season a stainless pan to make it more stick free. And if you rub liquid dish soap on the bottom of the pan before you cook on a open the outside of the pan will clean up easier
You can't just stop by Walmart to buy one, They require you to buy online, then because it is just shy of their minimum $ order, they want $8 shipping. It is too complicated to shop at Wally's
Good video would be even better had you not spoke about tongs over and over. They have to keep price down plus you can buy cheap tongs at Wal-Mart for $.97 and larger ones for $2.44 which I just bought both made of thin metal and works great.
Very nice video on the fry pan. I should recieve mine in a couple weeks as I just won a giveaway that was Stanley themed by Donny Pavolini. I'm really looking forward to testing the products out. Yet, I'm still trying to think of what meal I should make first. Haha. The set up you have would definitely be great. If you are not sure about the trivet maybe replace it with a piece of leather.
Nice! I looked for one a year ago or so but they're always out of stock. I guess that's a good sign. I'm sure you'll enjoy it! For $30 plus shipping I guess it's well worth the money. To get that plastic smell out, you can let soak in the oil for a while or maybe even set it in direct sunlight to let it get done with the out gassing.
Really nice kit except for the Plastics switched mine out for stainless steel Fork spoon and spatula and an old pie pan that just happened the fit in their perfect
