I have decided that Cavatina is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I speak as a professional, classically trained musician (guitar, violin and voice) and composer. And this is a lovely rendition. Many will edit out a part of the bridge, rendering the song incomplete. Defiling it I daresay. These two lovely musicians, however, play it complete, as Mr. Meyers intended. Bravi!

This beautiful theme was not made for "The Deer Hunter" but for "The Walking Stick" a 1970 film.
