Oh what a treat to hear this great boy play the song from my all time favorite movie. Sungha, you really are a treasure. You deserve all your success heading your way.
This piece is like child's play to Sungha but in actual fact it's really challenging to play. He deserves more credit for playing it so effortlessly! Well done Sungha!
Cavatina is a beautiful guitar masterpiece that embodies a bittersweet composition that is why it needs to be played slowly and tenderly, and it calls out to its audience...!!!
September 2, 1996, a great ' MASTER OF THE GUITAR' was born in South Korea. That "MASTER' is Sungha Jung. HAPPY BIRTHDAY and may you have many more. Thank You for sharing your music with all of us, you play beautifully. So please play on Sungha. (Harry Trimble USA)
I thought you were anything but "machine-like." You did a beautiful job and I enjoyed it a great deal. Congratulations on a very wonderful video. I have favorited it to listen again and again. Thank you.
Simply brilliant. We are so honoured to see this masterpiece of music by John Williams and Stanley Myers played with such ease by master Sungha... and for free.
I’m listening to it 12yrs later again, seeing where he is now, how great of a player he became, gives me this unexplainable feeling that you only get from seeing a big boulder or a tree.
This determination of emotion, or lack of it, by listening to a correctly played piece of music, is an illusion brought on by the visual effect of the person playing, his youth, movements and facial expression. If each note carries the length of time and the emphasis intended by the composer, which in this case it does, then the whole piece carries the emotion. So close your eyes and listen.
This song is very simple to play, but simple doesn't mean easy. Getting those bar chords right is super tough, but I'll eventually learn this song. For now, watching Sungha play it is good enough. :)
every time I watch you, Sungha, play this, I'm absolutely amazed, Cavatina is one of my favorites and you play it so well, but then I haven't heard you play anything that you don't play well. You're a Master, keep it up.
A sensibilidade musical deste rapaz e simplesmente impressionante. Da um banho de musicalidade na sua interpretaçao; Parabens mesmo. Siga em frente , pessoas como voce sao um balsamo para o mundo.
Finally, I've been waiting all this time for you to play this piece!! Such a great one! and you've made it sound great too! Thanks for fulfilling my dream: hearing you play this song
Encore bravo ! GB-US : Impressive fluency... The melody is really foregrounded, congratulations ! To me your performance is the second best I have heard, just behind John Williams', that's saying something ! Bravo !
