Stanley Steemer is America’s largest and best know cleaning service. The 70 year old Columbus based company also manufacturers much of their high-pressure, custom cleaning equipment.
Przyborski Productions produced their 2017 TV campaign which currently airs on both network and cable stations. The week long production was shot in Tampa, FL USA which historically has some of the country’s best winter weather. The most difficult production challenge was staging a parade, complete with an original Stanley Steemer float, marching bands and a hundred extras.
The campaign was created by Jim McCabe, Stanley Steemer’s Creative Director and produced by New York based, Frank DiSalvo.
Glenn Przyborski directed, photographed and edited the spots… “It was great working with old friends from the past. Jim and Frank were the agency creative team behind dozens of successful Giant Eagle, Autozone and Alliance Capital commercials that we previously produced.”
The campaign was photographed in UHD on RED Weapon and Sony A7S2 cameras. The production shots with talent used a Fisher 10 crab dolly and the RED. Glenn used his modified Canon FD lenses for most of these scenes.
Product cutaways were shot on a Sony A7S2 with Metabones Canon EF adapter. Glenn primarily used a Tokina 24-70mm F2.8 and a Tokina 11-20mm F2.8. The 11-20mm was designed for smaller super-35 imagers, but it completely fills the full-frame A7S2 from 16 to 20mm.
Space Junk and Mills-James handled the visual effects work. Rob Deaner of Contagious Music created the original music tracks and mixed the spots.
