This is an unboxing of the Stanley Wildfare Go Two Cup Cook Set. There are better videos than this of this product, so if interested, search it on youtube. Thanks for watching.
DIDDY!!! Hey Brother! I just got my WildFire...um WayFire...um WildFare to go...or go-2? ...um just yesterday and ain't even opened the box yet. All I did was rip off the shipping plastic to see the cardboard box and I think I have the actual Stanley shipping presentation box inside. BROTHER you have done an excellent job of the comparisons and nesting of this new Stanley 2024 as I call it. So, is it worth it? Well in my opinion...um...geesh...I just don't know either because the original was so darn good on it's own but because I just love this ORIGINAL set, I had to at least get the new 2024 version for nostalgic reasons. But, the wider base fits better on the itty bitty canister stoves that we all have used and even the butane stoves with the wider pot grates...I Think...I want to shoot my video this coming Sunday and will find out and give my Amateur Opinion on this subject. and how the lids of the old and new won't work...lol. BRAVO BUDDY DIDDY! this was and excellent show and tell review that of all the videos I've seen thus far are just not covering. This video just educated me on capacity difference that I didn't know.
Well, I think it's worth it but if you already the old style it may not be since they are so similar. REI had them on sale for $14.99 but are out of stock now and can't order them. The cups hold about an ounce more. Good thing is, the lids from an Ozark Trail 22oz coffee mug fits the green cups. I thought about going to REI and get the frying pan. Thanks for watching.
Not much at all. Only holds about 2oz. more. I do like that the cups hold more, I found one of the original cups so I may show the difference in them too. Thanks for watching.
Next model will be the same diameter to the bottom and allow a stainless steel water bottle fit inside. One SS cup on top and one SS cup on the bottom with a SS twig/alcohol/solid fuel stove over one cup.
@@SeniorHiker77 You must be thinking of the first gen. This set is a little bigger. Better? I think socbut may not justify spending $20 if ypu already have the old version. Thanks for watching.
Not sure about this new set but the old set you could eliminate half the cup if you wanted deal with one wall instead of a double wall cup. Cut at the top to separate the pieces.
@@akbychoice I did that on one of the old cups, can't find it. While it is double wall, they don't work no where as good as a stainless mug. Thanks for watching.
