Fares:
Minimum charge £2 for 10 minutes
£2 for every minute thereafter
Follow signs for 'Express Set Down'
£20 fine will be charged for re-entering Express Set Down within 30 minutes of first entering.
Located just a short walk from the terminal for your ease. This area is just for dropping off or picking up and vehicles must not be left unattended. If you wish to park and go into the terminal we recommend you use either the free option in the Mid Stay Car Park or use a Short Stay Car Park.

This is the really long way around if you take the exit shown at 1:19 and follow the signs for long stay it comes out from the left of the roundabout shown at 4:08 its much shorter and quicker

Is there anywhere free to park? Just incase they are not at the terminal at an agreed time to be picked up?

Could not believe this crazy charge having driven for over an hour so now I drop people off at the Radisson Hotel which is walking distance from airport!

2021 and now is 7£ drop off, that is truly rip-off charge

Update..NOW £3. PLUS £50 FINE IF 10 MINUTES EXCEEDED. This is just a total rip-off, would M&S charge you to enter their shop? - NO. Stansted claim it is to reduce congestion, (As a regular user I have never had a 'Congestion problem') This is just Stansted using the Public as a Cash-Cow, why not have free 15 minute drop off, and if exceeded £20 fine, progressing to £50 if over 25 minutes, I think most users would not have a problem with this. HELP PLEASE, we, the PUBLIC, must protest this is totally unacceptable, would somebody please start a MAJOR PROTEST, WE MUST NOT JUST LET THIS REMAIN IN PLACE.

i currently work at the airport congestion is a really big problem especially during peak as the space for dropping off outside the terminal is not big enough nor was it designed for dropping off in the first place without the charge the front of the terminal would be grid locked

So by Aidan, the whole problem lays onto the public whom uses the facility... The company NOT using the fine loot towards solving the problem it isn't any of an issue... (expanding the pick up u moron, not expnding the chargeable short, mid, and long park)
