I think the abusers away from the pitch are producing projections targeting their self-image on popular people. Now, one year later, Georgia Stanway is most beloved in Munich. The people are proud that she moved from England to Bavaria. In particular the friendship to Klara Bühl seems to be very strong.
@@hajoos.8360 Yea hthese girls ae rextremel ytalented I was extremely impressed with their efforts in the World Cup. Fair play for speaking out Georgia. Absolutely vile some of the comments I saw. There's no excuse for abusing of disrespecting players at ANY time. Anyone who makes such comments should look themselves in the mirror and really ask themselves if they would say this to a person's face. Good on Alex and Georgia for speaking out. Everyone makes mistakes. That's it.
I'm impressed with how well these people express and explain how inappropriate criticism and comment affects them. Their story gives insight into the dark side of fame and national notoriety. I wish them good luck in the southern hemisphere this summer. I enjoy the way these two individuals play. Win or lose, they give their heart and soul to every game.
All of this needs to stop this is putting people down in football there are some tackles that go wrong but they are so brave for doing this and Greenwood those words u said are so true just keep urs head up and get put on the pitch and show then who you are ❤️⚽️
These horrible people who hate are just the ones who are jealous. Georgia should not have gone through that. She is so mature as she has risen above it. Same with Alex. Women are just as good as men at football and nothing can take that away. The people saying that you won't be able to have kids, hoping ur periods hurt are so cruel. We love you lionesses so much and we love how you are so positive abt everything that you do. You give 110% out on the pitch and always put hard work and dedication into your work. Love you loads🫶🏻
The lionesses are so strong for them to go through that but things people say are just unacceptable calling Alex Greenwood a “Snake” for switching clubs and just generally being Horrid to the others! These strong woman who pull through all of this really do set a good example on how woman especially are just treated horribly and hopefully their messages gives a good message so people can live without such heartbreaking comments! ❤❤
City!!! Online abuse should never be allowed it’s disgusting, Stanway and all footballers have made some dirty tackles I think if men did them they would be praised by their fans and for women there not, which you shouldn’t be praised but you shouldn’t be abused for doing a bad tackle and apologisinng
Those people have no place in football be it the men's or women's game. These women are role models and pioneers for the next generation and are now European Champions and have inspired me to watch more women's football as the quality they have shown is unbelievable ladies be proud of how far you have come
Stanway is fantastic. She improved her tackles. She`s now a Superstar. But I love her fight. Against AUS when we were missing the enforcers. A lot of pushing, shoving and holding went on. Georgia was having none of it. Her spirit is what makes her great. She worked hard on controlling that spirit in tackles. Now she`s a perfect footballer. Weird she is so passionate but has ice-water in her veins in front of goal. She`s my first choice penalty taker, male or female world-wide.
As the co-commentator, Kelly Smith said: 'To play a forward at right back for the first time, would lead to such incidents, as they're not used to the correct approach to tackling". Or words to that effect!
Calling for her tackle on social media is ok. Until it's within what happened on football pitch !! But going beyond that & abusing her for being a woman & saying all those thing is just insecure ppl who like to bully is so sad . People forget about Karma & they think what they did will not be returned back towards them
As a teacher I know a rule that isn’t enforced from the start is hard then to enforce and the world has made a huge mistake with social media. Surely there was some way of making people sign up to these platforms with bank details needed and when they wrote an offensive comment they could be fined! We are in a dreadful situation I would not want my children to have any level of fame/coverage on social media. I feel for these sports people/celebs :(
I think it is fair to say that there has been a lot of trolling on media associated with women's football, it was certainly evident during the Euros, the BBC have your say comments were at times dreadful. I agree with you totally, there should be some way of making those who post the comments accountable...aside from being vile and misogynistic there should be no place, nor acceptance, for those views. I hope in your school, if indeed that is the situation where you teach, that young boys are educated in what inclusion is and what the impact of offensive views actually is. For me one of the greatest celebrations this summer was how inclusive the tournament was, with respect both on and off the pitch, that did not judge on race, gender or who someone might love...if only the men's game was like that, but unfortunately it isn't and is light years behind.
Also being offended is subjective heres a quote from jordan Peterson “to be able to speak you have to risk being offensive” Everyone will be offended by something or someone’s existence what we really need to stop is this nonsense
im a man united fan, i still love stanway, she shouldnt have been treated like this it was an accident. People dont take it as a sorry, she meant to get the ball. I was there at the match, she didnt deserve this at all. Love Georgia ❤
Georgia shouldn't have to say sorry. it should be the people who say these things. having the nerve to go out and say these things to footballs are just horrible we don't need hate comments going round. the girls go out there and play they love it and they people love it. It would be really scary going and playing in front of millions of people. People make mistakes everyday just because she made one wrong tackle doesn't mean thousands of people should go out and say stuff like that, Georgia Stanway is a great football she is my favourite footballer. I want to watch the people who leave these hate comments play football and I hope they know how it feels.
NEVER take notice from stupid ignorant people.....always remember you are fabulous and way above those kinds of people......Love to watch you and the whole ENGLAND team working so so well together ,,,'insults' // just water off a ducks back....all stems from jealousy.
Thick skin, Georgia. To err is human. Ignore the haters & be easy on yerself. Keep yr circle tight & full of ppl who knew ya before the fame & pressure. And remember ya gotta be doing something right in order to have haters. Just do what you do & just keep swimming. You are a powerhouse! For every negative mean comment, there 1000 positive supportive ones to trump that negativity. Heads up!
how dare people give her that much hate talking about things that are none of their business. she apologized what more do you want from her?! she wrote a statement , didn't argue withe red card , spoke to man u and received online abuse over a football game. why don't yall realize people make mistakes?
Alex I saw a leg-whipping tackle completely unexceptable, a red card will get you. Georgia's tackle I haven't seen against MU, but a younger player makes that mistake. A veteran player must learn not to commit to that play. Keep playing the game hard though, the fans love it!!❤
Will admit .. wasn't fussed about women's footie i did watch it when England played but never interested in the WSL. Watched all the euros amazed how technically good some of these players are i must have watched 200 you tube videos finding out about all the England squad . There is a stigma of these girls looking like men and not having women's bodies but i tell you what there is some stunners playing for England and other countries so as a man i get to see attractive footie played by attractive women
I've never seen ramos get as much abuse so why should georgia🙄some people Edit: Nathan Collins booted grealish and everyone applauded it Fucking hell 🙄
Of course Ramos gets worse abuse. And look at the abuse Beckham got. Look at the abuse Harry Mcguire gets. What about the three lads who missed pens for England simply because Southgate wanted to be "woke"..... It's wrong. It's shitty. It's low. But behave, men get it worse I've not seen women footballers physically attacked or killed
@@hambutty1 oh behave They said they hope her period hurts Can’t have children Ramos gets what abuse Collins clatters grealish no abuse and lots of brexit praise
She is a dirty player. Yellow cards in bunches. She's not a quality player too slow but there is no excuse for hairpulling. I dislike her as a player but no way does she deserve abuse online. She is a humanbeing after all.
Frankly the form they are in I am surprised they have time for social media, and Stanway is a dirty player. I remember Alan Smith ruining his career by becoming a headless chicken in tackling. Stanway is in danger of going the same way. I guess this will be considered abuse, snowflakes everywhere!
A Great Professional Football Players!! Real Warriors with Brain and Ovaries!! Don't pay attention to all crap stupid people saying. Take care of yourselves and enjoy your life and the Beautiful Game. You are Lionesses and Fine Ladies.
