The remote alpine village of Vals in the eastern Swiss canton of Graubünden rose to fame when star architect Peter Zumthor built new thermal baths there in 1996. The spa is well known for its quarzite slab construction. Now the surrounding hotel complex is in need of renovation. An investor has offered to buy the whole site, but Zumthor fears for the future of his masterpiece. (SF/swissinfo.ch)

The blue lagoon is a similar concept and still attractive… talking with each other never hurts though.

The investor is right in a way, it cant remain the same forever! Yet I believe that Zumthor's position into being involved is a kind gesture...changing ownership and applying a new initiative isnt always bad, especially when the people involved in the first place are still treated as the core of this project. Besides dont forget that Vals' citizens themselves asked for someone to take over the business that was until lthen a public domain.

@@aatone4530 everything that this man produced/produces has to be learned in school to a level beyond everything pleasant. It causes unlimited pain and sorrow and I developed a strong hatred for this building and a huge desire to rip the hell out of it until complete destruction.

@@Daorson91 THIS IS BECAUSE I AM PERSONAL FRUSTRATED and this is due to the MASSIVE amount of DAMAGE peter zumthor did to me in arts class
