Hey there @Blinky-Lights I made a community post with a graph showing the times it took. It’s under the community tab on my channel. Also have a video talking about the times. The graph just shows how long it took for 1 scu. The video talks about little more about the heads and which ones I prefer and how long it took per one panel type.

can i ask a question, say with the roc, what percentage shoud i start at, i have been doing 100% and flying low and slow is that wrong

@Blade5067 I would go down on the %. If your at 100% your doing more detailed scan of I’m correct. I want to say that gem signatures are like 1256 or something like that. I’m not sure if flying low is still the thing to do. Get some altitude and scan and look at all the signatures.

Dracs!!! Long time buddy. Get to 3.5km away from a marker and go nice and slow. Someone also said that it takes time for them to pop in.

@@TheMacedon yeah, been going slow. Used to be would have the little sparklies leading to them from about 1.5 Km but that seems to not be working of late. If you got a friend with an SRV they can tow abandoned shipsaway from stations and outposts to be scraped.

Hey there you’re welcome and thanks! Sounds like you do it just like I do. Selling at NB is the fastest because of that entrance you went to. Using that avoids the trams. I was running into problems though with that entrance because the elevators inside were not working so I had to land at the hangars.

Hello @brencilator there’s a known bug where this happens. It’s a dupe bug. You don’t need a grid to sell. Sell your RMC that’s already on the cargo hold then come back and print and place the rest go sell and come back and it should fix the issue. It just thinks u didn’t sell which disables the grid thinking that there’s already something there.

@@TheMacedon thank you! I'll try that. Also, as a followup question, when scanning for metal salvage, what exactly is the RS Signature indicating? Does a 24000 area just have more (quantity) metal panels than a 2000 area? Is it a quantity indicator? I guess what I'm getting at is: as long as you fill up all 13 SCU of the Vulture's depot reserve, is that 13 SCU converted to RME boxes always going to be of the same "quality" RME? If a trading hub hypothetically always had demand for RME and a fixed price per SCU, is selling all 13 SCU going to yield the same reward regardless of whether it's from a 24000 vs 2000 RS Signature area? There's no such concept as higher quality RME right? I just want to make sure 13 SCU is always going to be the same price (in a hypothetical fixed rate market with demand) regardless of where the recycled material is salvaged.

@brencilator welcome and great question. The rs signature of 24000 just means there is more panels there. For example a 2000 rs would probably have 1-3 panels vs 24000 would have like 10+ panels. That really all that means. When selling 13scu they don’t consider where it comes from just that it’s 1scu in a box. The rs signature doesn’t matter on selling price.

Hey @olsnapper840 thanks. Sorry about your issues that sounds frustrating, but one thing you can try and maybe you have is go to cru l1 or any other space station and try claiming it there. It should reset it to brand new basically.

@olsnapper840 when in scan mode you can adjust the % with the scroll wheel on your mouse.

I’ve heard of this happening. Try giving it a minute to load everything then try and make sure to save it. The other thing you can try is bring those scraper heads with you and manually swap them out.

You’re absolutely right. Middle scroll wheel adjusts the percentages.

For RMC any TDD which are found at all major space ports. The construction material can be sold at salvage yards. I wouldn’t worry too much about the construction material personally. Isn’t worth much I think it’s like 1.5auec per scu or some thing like that. The RMC is worth just about 15k auec per scu.

You might have to wait for a refresh. The quota might be met for now. You could try somewhere else but might be the same there too. A lot of people selling RMC currently.

I really enjoy it. You try and level your bounty rep up and get higher paying missions. Box missions start at low pay but once leveled you can get higher paying ones.

You adjust the pierc percent by scrolling up or down on the scroll wheel. Before the scanning change we had degree angles or a cone. 360, 180, 90 etc.. The pierc is the same just name change. So 0% is 360 degrees. 360 degree scan would be 360 around your ship and the more you close the angle the straighter your scan becomes.

@crowcomics9256 push V to go into scan mode then when aiming at a unknown marker you should see rs signature to the right of your hud. Look for 2000, 4000, 6000, etc.

Oh no. Are they just not popping up? You might have to try a couple times. Lastnight I had to just move on and find a different signature with panels. I was in the area and they weren’t popping up. The other set I found literally popped up as I was flying nearly ran into them.
