A really cool thing about the storage access in this ship is that the Patient Storage is public and the Crew Storage is personal! It means you can keep things like spare undersuits and flight helmets for yourself or your patients, or some quickstart supplies!

Thanks for the video! since they reactivated all medbeds as spawnpoints with the ursa medivac. the little pisces is a welcome guest when traveling. but personally i prefer to use my cutlass red. it simply has many more advantages. You have two medbeds. Weapons and shield are much stronger and you have 12 SCU cargo and more fuel in the tank. of course you always have the C8R in the hangar, if only because it is the most functional s1 ship in the fleet. you also get free water, medpens and protein bars in it at every new spawn. food/water can be replenished in the medbed, but it is very practical for traveling.
One of the best bunker runners. I prefer a Cutty Red with an STV or a MSR with a Nursa, but the C8R is badass. Unfortunately, enemies are spawning outside of bunkers now and they are perfectly capable of blowing a C8 up with small arms.
Happy birthday and I agree that this ship is rather handy to have. I typically keep one in my hangar for the med bed and supplies. But it also is a great little travel ship since it can keep your food and water topped off in addition to being a respawn point when your within 20k of it, at least in 3.24.1. The fact you can spawn it in at small ground facilities is another great feature as it can be a means to get home if you get stranded at a ground location where you can spawn a geound vehicle, or a Size 1 ship like the C8R.
Happy Birthday mate! Great review as always. I'm loving this ship at the moment, awesome daily driver and great for scooting round the verse getting stuck into bunker and merc missions. Regardless of what happens with the respawn in the future, being able to get patched up and back at it is such a handy feature of the ship.

I have two.. parked at both ends of my very large instanced hangar, so I can recharge food n drink anytime 😅.. and it can fit a 2scu crate for bunker loot. All my Pisces are equipped with stealth components, so you if you stay 4/5km away, no one can find/target you.😂
Honestly I love my C8R. I don't have it pledged since its so cheap in game, but it's so handy just to do a couple bunker missions or have as utility. Great little ship! Also, happy birthday!!

great thing about the C8R is it can pretty much go anywhere, and if you kit it out with stealth components you could pretty much reduce your detection signature quite a bit... and can fit 2 Pulse bikes just in case
I love my little Blueberry. Don’t use it all the time but nice if I don’t want to bring a larger ship for bunkers. I probably won’t melt it until we get a medical Terrapin 🤞
I love this little ship, its one of my favorite ships. now that inventory is physicalized its it stinks trying to get a 2 SCU container in but it does work! I wish they would remove the sliding glass door. I find myself using the cutty red more now that i have to carry around 2 or 4 scu boxes for armor/weapons.
Have one of these and a Cutty Red in-game. I had hoped the Cutty Red would be more versatile than the Pisces... but that would mainly apply to hostile bunkers with turrets. The Cutty Red can take on and take out bunker turrets, however its shields and weaponry aren't that good that I'd like to do it repeatedly. While the Cutty Red can fit a vehicle, I presume, I am also not into the time drain of driving in and out for 2km. Although I'll do it, for fun, just to see what it's like. I like the Pisces Rescue more overal. Faster flying and cheaper to run. The only real thing the Cutty Red has over it is that it's easier to take boxes with it. If I want to carry around lots of loot.
Key things you have overlooked with the Red. You can park a Pulse between the beds in the Red so still has all its cargo space, you can also store a storage box in the Red, and to finish off (and why I don’t take my C8R out anymore) you can bed log in the Red so can have extended play sessions and not have to keep going back to a station etc
I hope one day all the size 1 and size 2 weapons on those small ships (starters like the pisces, mustang, and aurora) will be more than viable ingame, like not just starter throwaway stuff that you will upgrade from after 10 hours of playing and never look back upon. I mean for them to be long term ships/weapons.
First off, Happy Birthday! A few weeks ago, I saved up enough auec to buy a Carrack and the first thing I did afterwards was save up for this ship. I love it. It's a small ship, but for someone like me who doesn't really do a whole lot of ship-to-ship combat, the value it provides is great. There's something I've wanted to ask about for a while. I started watching your videos only about a month ago and I also only got back into SC around the same time (although I did originally pledge back in 2014). What is the story about the toilet thing lol? I need to know the lore.
Spawning in it will probably remain permanently. However higher tier medical beds will be able to respawn you with less DNA degradation or traumatic remaining injuries over longer range.
I dont think CIG themselves know how to handle respawning. First they say you'll only be able to respawn at T1 beds, then T1 and T2, then the URSA Medical comes out and now its always been the plan to let you respawn from any medbed. Uh-huh. This mechsnic is probably determined by what Marketing wants, not what the Devs envision. So I expect the all tier respawn to remain to avoid the refund catastrophe after selling vehicles specifically for that purpose.
I've parked it next to the hanger's medical elevators/lifts that's nearest to summoned C2s aft ramp. I'd just need to find a way to remember what end of the hanger that is when landing, for fast access to medical care or to quickly park the Pisces inside the C2? (maybe the ships marker)? ;-)
Pisces is underrated. Yes, this guns are small and weak, buy ship is hard to hit and with little bit of patience can destroy some AI targets, for example hostile cutlass near derelict caterpillas.
Leave it in your personal hanger and spawn in it, or put the Voyage Class B Civilian Quantum Drive in it for the best balance between speed and travelling distance. Put a dark livery on it so you don’t stand out and put Neutrons on it. Brilliant little kite 🪁
Such a fantastic little ship. I take the guns off of mine because they're not really that useful at all. Running bunkers in this thing is amazing. Honestly, I just love the snubs that have quantums. They're so nimble and useful and can turn the C2 into the pocket carrier I hope the Liberator will be.
@@fathead8933 I wish they had a half SCU box to put in there. You can obviously fit a 1 SCU box in there but it takes up too much space. The accessible overheard locker doesn't hold enough armor for when I'm running bunkers. And that 1/8th SCU box is really only good for food, water, multi tools, and other small stuff and the C8R already has you covered with the food and water.
@@TheeKevlarDucky yeah I was kind of upset by that too it only carries and under suit and helmet I think. It definitely needs the inventory size adjusted if that’s supposed to “carry a patients equipment”
