In this video we cast our thoughts on Star citizens Origin 325a.
In my view this ship has a lot to offer out of all of the 300 series of ships and indeed its competitors. This Interceptor is well armoured and has excellent firepower for a ship of its size along with the trademark comfort that you will find in most origin ships. It also has the capability to carry 4SCU of cargo making the versatility of this vessel ever more flexible , i personally see this as a great multirole ship. If your new to the verse i would strongly recommend that you consider this ship.

One of the most comfortable, formidable and versatile solo ships available in the star citizen universe. I'm a fan and enjoy this ship as daily driver! But what do you guys think of the Origin 325a?? You know the drill let me know down below!!

I dunno if you know this, but if you click customize in the hangar portion of the account page, you can select different colors. I don't think every choice costs money. EDIT: Never mind; a lot of others have pointed this out as well! 325a was my first ship, back before the redesign. You're right not to let the comfort fool you. She is a tough little ship :)

ship skin/ interior skin/ interior decorations can be added/adjusted (often for an additional fee) with the cash bought versions. The coffee maker you can fit actually functions and will handle your characters thirst.

I upgraded a 125 to a 325a and took the LC package with distortion canons. I also added all the interior perks like coffee machine, clock, etc. Can't wait to fly it. It's not a car. Lol...

My 315P is my daily driver that I operate from my mobile home base 890J. 300 series are beautiful ships.

Nice one. Good video. And Origin is in lore actually a German company, which is located at the Rhein. And I see the Rhein every day, it's a nice thing on top 😂

One of the biggest things with the 300 series, if you buy it on the website you can customize it. For example the interior and exterior colors, interior paneling, pilot seat, and a few other things.

325 is a good ship. I use it for moving around the verse because it has space for another person (if I need to save someone from deep space, or from a planet, for example). One issue I see is that the Store version allows for various modifications which aren't available in the PU (mostly cosmetic, but this is StarCit we are talking about). I have this ship in the PU and works like a local car. I prefer the Sabre for combat, but that S4 on the nose can make for a strong statement (think C788 explosive cannon). I agree that it makes for a good starter ship. The 100-series is quite decent too.

This ship is stylish and tanky for its size! I had a high speed collision with a bounty target and only lost the arch of the wings! Everything else functioned normally. Once you upgrade its components and weapons too, it’s even better! Happily my new daily driver!

I love the 300 series. The only problem I found is that when you lose the wings in combat, something which happened to me too often, you also lose most of your firepower.

I have this in Cobalt Blue, outfitted how i want it. I thought ahead and its my main account ship. Other ship is a nomad (was a talon). Biggest thing is a bed, good missile spike, comfortable, has cargo bay. Oh and weapon rack, mini-fridge, MFD in bed. Bed has a view. I mean really, go in quantum and lay in bed and stare at the streaking stars. It was when I bought it and first saw it in game.... It was all worth it. The money, the bugs, the Star Citizen quirks and shortcomings... The steel deep blue, the beautiful trim. "This, this is mine." Edit: Thanks for the like and the video!!!

The position lights are correct also, green starboard and red port. I always remembered which side was which because, growing up and still am actually, I was a classic car nut, so I committed to memory green for starboard as in GS or Gran Sport...that was a Buick, if anyone of you don't know what I'm talking about, lol.

This unfortunately is not the only ship currently suffering from the missile bug pandemic. Fixes I believe are being worked on.

The 325a was my starting ship. The only downside for it is a smaller quantum fuel tank compared to the other variants of it's class. Also it can be further customized on the website from your hanger if you own it via pledge, including adding various things like clock, photo frame, coffee machine, also paint jobs and materials. Mine is Metallic Ultra Marine Blue with Carbon Fiber where the red is inside.

With every cycle i upgrade my 325a fully. I almost change every component and i agree that the quantum drive is bad. I prefer the longer ranged ones. But yeah gives me a reason to play the game when i have to do missions for components. When fully upgraded it is a blast though

You get free customization with this and you dont have to have the red interior. Go under your hangar select it and customize and you have option from aluminum to wood, as well as other options for colors and finish. Its a feature only to the 325a so far.

I've been playing SC since 2014, and the 325a is still one of my favorite ships. I keep one in my 890j as an on-board fighter. I had the original and always thought the rear layout was a waste of space, and was pleased when they reworked it..... One thing about the video. You're outfit was horrendous and should never have been loud through the door :-)

I got the ORIGIN 325a, for Luxury, speed, fire power and mainly the fuel scoops. But in the latest news regarding refueling they talk about removing little fuel scoops to make everyone reliant on refueling, I have had a rethink of a one person flyer, a 600i fitted with 3 x AD5B Ballistic Gatling guns off the Redeemer (upgrading to have a 2nd Redeemer to remove the guns and make them available for your other ships) and video idea as I have seen it done in gameplay but not an informative video

The ship looks great. But those digital MFD's are a real let down. It's the kind of thing that really puts me off. CIG need to really start cleaning up the HUD and displays on some of these older ships.

How do you find the loot you put in a cargo hold? I was doing a box mission a put a mission box there, it was fine, but two other boxes i found and put there just disappeared

Hello, you say you don't really like some colors of the ship, but the 300 series is no longer customizable? These are the only ships where you can really do this at the moment.

It was a loaner ship therfore I couldn't change interior colour scheme.

Does anyone have a suggestion to combat the thruster bug? Basically, my 325a lost all ability to use any thrusters other than the back one. This makes floating in atmo/gravity incredibly difficult if not impossible, landing incredibly difficult, etc. Basically, ship got super damaged in a fit, I repaired, and the thrusters just never seem to work ever again EXCEPT FOR THE MASSIVE REAR MAIN THRUSTER. This means no strafing, no ability to stop, no ability to float in coupled mode, etc. I have claimed, I have destroyed and claimed, I have tried everything I can think of. I finally melted it and replaced with a 300i. I do not have the same thruster problem.

I've not had that particular bug, it sounds annoying as hell. I would check the issue council if you haven't already. That's probably your best bet.

@@PIN-o7 Thank you! I'll try that route. I still love my 300i. I noticed the 315p has 12 cargo storage too which is nifty. I bet when 3.20 comes out the 315p (with the tractor beam) will completely slap.
