The "obstacles" that will be encountered in the jump aren't too crazy. The jump points are wormhole type things, its a tunnel of space warp energy that forms a tunnel. In the permanent jump tunnels there might not be as many as in the transient jump points. The obstacles themselves look like pillars that go from one side of the tunnel to the other side. You can see what they were thinking, even though they probably hadnt started the actual development of it, during the 2019 citcon gameplay presentation. If you want to see what it might look like, as far as being in the tunnel at least.

I am still worried, that this "minigame" during the jump will be not fun after a while. It could feel like all these game, that force you to press a button every few seconds to see your Video until the end. What will happen, when they implement the food cooking, toilet gameplay, didn't they want you to do that instead during a jump? (:
