thats EXACTLY what i was thinking. like this video is what Ubisoft is always trying to fabricate in their E3 demos, but this is truly just gamers enjoying everything that an incredible game has to offer. its awesome
I really want to see what Bananas and his crew will do when they add actual infiltration equipment to the game. And when the AI works as intended, without so much desync.
It's alot less cool when you have to actually play through the insane amount of downtime and travel time they cut out with editing. That EVA trip to the Hammerhead alone woulda been something like 15+ minutes easy and then another 10 for the cutting. Not to mention all the station and train and hyperspace and etc travel cut out. Prolly cut out at least one 30k and a crash as well. And most people's systems don't make the game look anywhere near that AND deliver about half the FPS, even on a good PC.
@@Ralathar44 Oh no an intense simulator requires a rig capable of running physics calculations?? AND IT SIMULATES THINGS?!?!? THE HUMANITY! ABSOLUTE AGONY, HOW DARE THEY!
@@anidiot9831 Yeah, get back to me when that includes gravity instead of a bunch of shit that doesn't matter and also isn't real simulation either. It's not like gravity would be an important thing to simulate in a space sim or anything kek.

The time the video came out and the timing of this comment would indicate that you have not watched the video fully therefore you are incorrect in your assortment that this is a masterpiece if you hadn't finished it yet.
This is seriously like something you would READ from a Halo novel, with Spartans abandoning their UNSC ship, watching it get destroyed, then boarding a huge Covenant cruiser and blowing it up from the inside. This game looks unreal. Cannot believe that actually worked. Talk about fun as hell.
That's the magic of star citizen! Everything seems so real you often forget your playing a video game until u got hit by a 30k but it is part of the experience!
Yeah, it's the sort of thing a main character tosses out in the movie, and all his sidekicks shoot down the idea because they think it's dumb and will get them all killed, but then they get in a bind, and at the very end the main character follows through with the ridiculous plan and it actually works. Except, in this case, the events that unfold in this video were WAAAAY crazier than most other sci-fi finales.
Lemme put it this way, Star Citizen has ruined nearly every other game for me with its depth. If you are fairly patient, are willing to accept TONS of bugs, have an SSD and an updated rig, I can recommend. Your honeymoon period will be like no other game you've expirienced.
@@forcommenting1017 I couldnt have worded this better honestly, Im just one of the many considerably defective that can accept what SC has so far, I have a history with games like these so
Funny glitches and moments aside, the two Star Citizen videos Bed has made so far are quite solid Sci-Fi films. Amazing how this guy can make compelling stories at the same time of doing things that makes us laugh.
@@RDR911 True for star citizen before 2019, but they have really fixed a lot of stuff. Still some here and there but it's in a really good stable place right now.
This game is beautiful and has hundreds of amazing mechanics the bugs aren't even that big considering the scale of this game, which sucks that you need a super computer and even if you do get it it's so dead you cant have that much fun
This honestly felt like a video from a group of friends in the future, just getting up to fun stuff on their space ship and the convention and filming it all
@@hejdu4480 It's been steadily improving over the years, I've played around 100 hours and it's still definitely a playable game with things to do if you've got a good system and some friends willing to consistently play. It also happens to be the single most immersive experience I've ever had in a video game, VR included, this game is really still the top of it's class when it comes to that stuff.
Yeah when they were trying to stay in character and a that, they all sounded like they were about to burst out laughing, I love it. And yeah, Lawlman does have a pretty Sci fi pilot voice.
THIS is the type of Gameplay and Teamchat that companies try to fake with "Real Gamers" playing whatever like Ghost Recon or Anthem. The video was great and mad entertaining!
You do know that this is "fake" too right? As in they're putting it on. It's not genuine. For example they were in no danger of losing their ride at the end.
@@jimmehjiimmeehh9748 The way I'm saying it is like this is WWE while the triple A presentations are backyard wrestling. Both fake, but one is done in such a way that feels amateur/oozes fakeness, while the other commits to the act and puts on a captivating performance.
Unbelivable... Bed I literally bought an entire new monster PC and Star Citizen a mere 2 days ago because of your vids, my friend did the same, and we literally sat down to binge all your vids again and suddenly as we were refreshing the list, we see a new entry, and it's Star Citizen to boot. Today was a GOOD fucking day
I've been playing for a year and a half now and this game still amazes me. A couple of patches ago, there was a bug where anyone outside your ship EVA couldn't see your ship. I went to pick someone up who had ejected, but he couldn't board due to the bug. I decided to try to put him in the ship by maneuvering the ship and sliding him into the cargo bay, not really believing it would work. I was floored when he started yelling into the mic, "I'm in! I can see the ship and I'm in!" With recent patches and improvements, it's even more amazing. The graphics are even better and new gameplay mechanics have been added.
I want this game so bad. Idk if my pc would be able to handle it just yet tho. Im going to get starfield now that I’ve seen gameplay of it, kinda seems like a (very) toned down version of this game. I’ll have to see how my pc handles that game and go from there lol
@@burrittoo Movies can also be masterpieces so I'm not sure why your comment was worded that way. Part of what makes this video a masterpiece is that it's basically a movie.
@@cooki3th1ef Hilariously enough, if the force is hard enough and you hit a wall or something falls on top of you, you can also get a concussion or get knocked out.
*That final sequence was just straight f*cking cool.* *You never cease to impress me with the narrative on some parts- especially the endings -of these videos.*
18:36 THE A TEAM This is basically a goddamn film, a group of friends seeking nothing more than fun, a very personal short film in which every action is awe inspiring. from boxing while flying faster than the speed of sound on a desert planet, to sitting and watching the fireworks with friends, all the way to the most ambitious heist in a David-and-Goliath like battle, all based on luck and hope, but all is reliant on the friendships faith in one another. 10/10 -someone that really wants to play star citizen now.
@@belg4r489 Just make sure your hardware can keep up. I gotta pretty good card and it runs choppy at particularly demanding hubs, otherwise stellar 70+ fps on medium. Don't forget to join Discord's and subreddits relating to the game, 'cause that's always where you'll come across other new players and also the whale-owners that have the greatest in-game ships. What I'm trying to say is, just be cool and people will always hook you up with fun stuff to do like these guys. P.S Flying Caterpillar's (the hauling ships) to move peoples investments is what I used to do. Those ships cost about $225 USD, so it was a really sweet way to fly around in a pretty cool ship and also make a ship load of uEC to spend around on whatever I wanted in the game.
@@genericwhitekidthesecond4330 Honestly, I don't mind that the game won't ever be finished, if they update the fuck out of it; ex. quality of life and shit Im in, it's so comfy and awesome playing the game.
@@emulatorisland7417 the game gets a big update every quarter, with plenty of QOL improvements every patch. one of the best updates ever dropped yesterday and its got the coolest cloud city you have ever seen.
I can't believe how good this series is. I fucking love when they commit to the RP, They've been training for this game their whole lives it feels! Fucking kills me every time.
The physics grid is honestly the coolest detail of this game. Being able to just walk around while your buddy flies, (and NOT risk randomly popping through the back like in Space Engineers and GTAV) that's neat.
That's what impresses me the most about this video and this game - where other engines like the Gambryo are built with duct tape, this engine must be built with rivets and titanium alloy
@@liambrown500 There's a reason they've been quietly working on it for 8 years. I paid my $35 in 2013, and I've been patiently waiting for full release. No early access, no drama, no teasers. I have very limited capacity for hype.
@@noosa187 call of duty have physics grid? LOLOLOLO where link a video here please and what about dynamic physics grid? its more harder to do link these here too

@@RDR911 "pumping out ads" the dude is, quite literally, just playing a game he likes and making videos on it. No one is forcing you to watch it and he isn't telling anyone buy it. Such a stupid mindset to have. I don't even care about Star Citizen nor do i plan on buying it, but these videos are cool and i seem to speak for lots of people in the comment section when i say that i wouldn't mind him making more. Edit: he removed the reply, because of course he did, but basically he was saying that he wouldn't like it if BedBananas channel turned into a channel that only pumps out ads for an unfinished game.
I really, really, REALLY, hope we get a 3rd installment of this series. I want to see Thinly eat that ice cream in the most epic way possible. (unless I missed him eating it in this video.) Keep up the great job as always Bed.
99.9% of the people who talk crap about SC and use the usually tropes like "scam" have never played it, don't follow development and get most of their info from "youtube" comments.
yea its buggy but its doing things we're probably not going to get for a long long time or ever again. Plus keep in mind most detractors honestly deep down want the game to succeed but just dont want to admit when their wrong. we actully have a frequent group of trolls who spend each free fly event (where anyone can try it out) by just being horrible people and spaming the same old " its a scam!!!" phrases.
@@bobmalone3726 2011-2021, 10 years. but you also have to consider the scale they intend (100 star systems, with 1:1 scale planets. Takes hours to fly around a moon in game. I played Elite Dangerous, and while the galaxy there is 1:1. the planets and suns sure as hell aren't. Less than a minute to fly around a sun), the detail, as well as the fact that they were building the company and hiring employees while making the game engine... Red Dead Redemption 2 took 8 years to produce. With a company experienced in making AAA games, with a staff of well over 1000, and on a pre existing game engine that the developers were used to utilizing. With all the stuff they want in Star Citizen, it's no wonder it's taken so long and they've underestimated development time.
@@bobmalone3726 8-10 depending on if you count the massive change of intended scale and depth and feature creep that allowed for all the stuff in the video to be possible.
His games are his canvas, his personality and creativity his paints & brush, his youtube is his exhibition hall and he... Is and Artist he is... BedBananas.
There is no gameplay loop. No missions. No enemies to fight. No challenge. No important locations to discover. Even the ship boarding section... wtf. Just the pilot sitting in his chair, might not even be there. It's all a bunch of high quality assets and people role playing. Imagining stuff like children to with their toys. I will never understand why people call this a game. I guess being able to walk around looking at stuff and talking to yourself is enough for some.
@@Blitzkrieg1605 if this wasn't entangled in a whole lot of mess with all the backing and all that stuff normally that would be enough. People like to make their own adventures, that's how it's always been since even before "virtual life" was introduced. But since it did get so much flak from all the delays and broken promises, and of course it not being actually finished yet then yeah, it can come out as dissappointing.
@@Blitzkrieg1605 There are a lot of missions, with enemies to fight in ship combat or FPS. That's why that hammerhead they boarded was there... There's missions to board ships that are defended with FPS AI in them too. There's caves and underground bunkers with FPS enemies. There's a ton of ship combat missions. There's investigation and "recover this thing from a shipwreck" missions that may or may not require combat. You can also go mining with a handheld tool, a vehicle, a solo ship, or a multi-crew ship, in space, caves, or on the surface. You can run simple deliveries or do cargo hauling, though that isn't very profitable right now. You can bounty hunt both AI and criminal players. Last night I did the new event with 8-10 other ships fighting a handful of hammerheads, an Idris capital ship, a swarm of fighters, and criminal players who had chosen the opposing side, all in one large space battle. It's still VERY much an alpha with plenty of bugs and server issues, and it has a long way to go before calling it a complete game, but there's a lot more to do than just walking around talking to yourself lol.
You got me on my star citizen journey…. You also caused me a lot of headaches that come with it lol. I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you so much. Still can’t believe how you made this convention look so much fun.
I rewatched Prison Escape like 2 weeks ago! Nice timing! Bed's mix of soft-RP with big setpieces all within the normal framework of the game packaged into almost a semi-cinematic package is just fantastic.

@@mariobadia4553 yeah, you have two options: crying like a baby as you for ever or already have fun with the alpha. And I'm sure the alpha players had already so much fun together with others, that they already get her money twice out of it. At the end SC is a sandbox and that means it is completely in your hand what you get out of it, no matter if it's in alpha or "final" state. SC will be luckily never a theme park MMO. And it is also clear: if you want to do such a huge game, that was never only in a part there in gaming history, then you need to ignore that cry babies with way too little ambition. If you would here as a developer to the broad mass SC would be another bad game with way too less used potential and that only while many people have no patience and are morons. And yes, i also wait since long time, I'm a golden ticket owner, if you even know what this means. P.S. bankrupt and run away with your money... how should that even work? When the money is gone there is no money left to run away with. XD

I made it 'till the end of the video... DUDE IT WAS FUCKING AWSOME !!! The part where you all guys were with the tanks on the snowy planet was awsome. The part where you guys are watching the fireworks at the end of the Invictus Convention was beautiful. And the fucking part where you are making a ship blow up, THE ENTIRE FUCKING SEQUENCE IS JUST A MOVIE ITSELF ! Say what ever you want about it, but no other game gives you the immersion and "feels" Star Citizen does. Just make sure you install onto an SSD and have a decent PC. Also that QT jump with the cutlass door closing right as the video ends.. 👌
Im planning to buy this game also buy PCs for 4 friends of mine including me, so its 5 Pcs and starcitizen, is rtx 3060 enough and ryzen 5 5600x enough? im kinda on a budget. This game could be something my squad can play!
You have this amazing ability to capture the raw sense of wonder and excitement from this game like no-one else. I had no idea the tank didn't have a gravity generator, watching you all tumble around as you fell from orbit was hilarious, then as it rotated you walked on the ceiling trying to get back to the seat it was awesome. There is so much potential with the physics it's really awesome to see what will come in the future. CIG should hire you to do the self-destruct sound effects. I'm really looking forward to the next video! This was awesome!
I like the concept of a bunch of space pirates escaping from prison then attending a space convention and renting military grade equipment while disguised in fashionable new clothes.
I'd almost forgotten what it's like to play fun games with friends. As always I must thank this channel for reminding me of the wonders of what I no longer have :^)
this is something i should try in-game, to see if you can actually "fly" a tank in free-fall by firing the main canon. since the game actually uses Newtonian physics, it might actually be possible.
