Trying out a Jet Plane rig, and a Star Wars Star Destroyer exiting hyperspace effect in After Effects for a possible future project. All effects were done on After Effects with sound mixing done on Premiere Pro.
Not really, in truth no one knows what coming out of warp/hyperspace within a dense atmosphere would look or sound like but I presume the sound is instant because it is actually the compression of spacetime that you’re hearing not air, like sliding on a rug and the rug gets pushed in. There should be another boom that comes minutes later which is actually the sound.
Lol dude they legit freaked out over a radio broadcast about War of the Worlds (it wasn't only a movie but it was a radio broadcast story to entertain the audience) and they freaked out, thinking it was real.
My suggestion is to have them expand/zoom in as well. They’re arriving from a great distance and having them rapidly grow in size would convey the sense of depth
Vader: Prepare the area for my arrival. Landing party, with me! Officer: My lord, there seems to be a crowd waving imperial flags and dressed as our stormtroopers, all ready for your arrival, even though this is our first conquest of this planet. Vader: What? ... I sense a strange presence here... One I have not felt in years.... _after embarking to the middle of Times Square_ Lucas: Lord Vader, we have been expecting you. Vader: Ah, Jedi Padawan Geo-Dan Lu-Kye? You survived Order 66. Bold of you to come forward in this place. Lucas: I am no Jedi. I have long since pledged myself to the ways of the Sith and prepared this world for your master's arrival.
Honestly if this happens, just hand over the keys. Being an imperial world ain’t that bad, plus we are all humans on this planet so we already have good standing from the start. Long live the emperor!
@@rrrr3599 star wars ships have something called redundant shields, as well as shields that defend against energy weapons, it would take at least 4 nukes to level a star destroyer, not to mention the fact that turbo lasers could probably take one out.
The tech in Starwars is odd, quite a lot of it seems "low tech". Like dogfights with blaster cannons is closer to ww2 stuff than modern day. We see physical weapons, even fighter launched ones doing a lot of damage to star destroyers. Would a tie fighter beat a modern jet firing a missile at it from 100 miles away? Probably not.
There is a 50/50 chance such a thing could happen in real life. No one has any idea who is out there and its obvious or highly improbable that we are the only ones, in the infinity of space.
The boom came before the shops even appeared, sound travels slowly. Delay it a bit, and it will feel truly awesome. PS : ppl's first reaction shouldn't be to immediately scream, at the very least, there should be a small delay due to reaction time
Насколько я помню книжки СВ, они не могли так глубоко войти в гравитационный колодец планеты, их должно было выдернуть из гиперпространства гораздо ранее... 💁♂
Funny enough, outside of space combat, our aircraft would devastate the tie fighters. We're faster, better armored, better armed, and better trained generally.
Things people are fine with: The Empire's Imperialism The Imperium of Man's Imperialism Things people aren't fine with: Actual Imperialism on Earth. ya'll are fucking weird. AVE IMPERALIS!
Look up green screen star destroyer, download and put into editor that has a chroma key option. Set up the destroyer where you want it on screen, lower opacity, have sound effects.
