How so? It's very *very* well animated, it has incredible voice acting, a unique adult story without being over the top, realistic feeling characters- Plus Wolf is kinda hot...
I think he’s being sarcastic (or he’s just the Team’s Kirby). But I also think it works as a call for help. The « Help!! » arrow is clearly green, which is Slippy’s color.
God, I played thousands of hours worth of Star Fox when I was growing up, Star Fox 64 especially. I doubt I'll be ever to get the 'Star Wolf ambush on Fortuna scene' out of my head.
If you go to Fortuna and fail (Any of Team Star Wolf survives and flies off), then go to Bolse in the same playthrough, Star Wolf (whomever survived the battle on Fortuna) will come at you AGAIN. (Fox will say "Star Wolf Again? Why now?!?") If you bypass Fortuna then go to Bolse, They'll come at you in full force on Bolse. If you make it to Venom from Area 6, you'll face them in full force with newer ships, REGARDLESS of where you fought them before.
I put this entire level/scene right up there with star wars, independence day, and Top Gun... and can't wait to see it on the big screen when they do the film ;)
The funny thing is that if you only help your companions follow the enemies, they will take care of the rest except in the Venom battle since Wolf's ships are very strong, sometimes they manage to do it but they almost always lose there.
3:14 "Star Wolf again?! Why now?" Is that from getting the "Mission Complete" ending on Fichina when the timer reaches zero without taking down any or all four Star Wolf members? I guess that line does sum up how tilted Fox and first-time players had about ending Fichina like that.
@@extenderdaveThe only other way you can have Star Wolf show up twice in the same playthrough is if you do Fichina (win or lose), and then somehow manage to get the Venom 2 stage (hard ending/red path), where they will always show up in their new ships: the Wolfen II.
God damn this making me all nostalgic snd shit. I loved this game, helped me through some tough times as a kid. When nothing in the world existed but me in my room with starfox 64.
be interesting to see Bill fight against star wolf as your wingman. Also, I think Leon should have been the traitor to James mccloud, with his suave villian voice (more intimidation/ taunting I would think).
Bill was good but not on the level of team wolf and team fox lol he’d get scrubbed it’s like putting a marine against someone from the national guard 😂
jeeze,the wolfen two was way more capable of doing many things than the wolfen one team star wolf have. it can do barrels and reflect charged blasts and bombs now which gives quiet a challenge.
If your team mates are dying, then you're not doing it right. Lol Like that episode of Invader Zim where he does that boot camp with a group and he just sacrifices everyone to get to the end.
Ironically, I'd say their appearance at Bolse is their hardest battle. Purely because, in addition to fighting them, you're also having a bunch of other ships actively trying to shoot you and your team down, and it's even harder if you're trying to keep your teammates alive too. Ultimately, it turns into you trying to fend off multiple enemies all at once, four of whom are (roughly) on the same level as you are, and constantly being harassed from start to end.

Spam the lasers. In Venom II, the charged lasers and Smart Bombs don’t work against them. Wolf and his teammates are programmed to target one of the four Star Fox members. Pigma attacks his former teammate, the beginner is tormenting the other beginner, Leon played too much Duck Hunt and Wolf can’t change his temper in the fights, unlike his three teammates. When Star Wolf is here, Falco, Slippy and Peppy are also programmed to attack their respective attackers. When their rivals aren’t here, Pigma/Leon/Andrew attacks Fox and the others (but mainly Fox), while Peppy/Falco/Slippy tries his best to help their leader.
I did say in the description I played poorly, and this was over two years ago. I did improve when I briefly tried to speedrun this game but it's been over a year since I've played it at this point
