'Sorry if this is a lot to read' Was dealing with some burn out and stumbled upon your page and you got rocking tunes and style on this specifically the well done the guitar and Hits like MTVGMSynthCovers mentioned who's another VGM peeps i respect with a unique style, i noticed you mention layering and it's something i use so often and I'm so glad you use it and it's crazy that when i mention it to others they can't wrap their head around it. i use so many synths From the DX7, M1 and D-50 to more compressed sampled digital synths that i call my middle grounds like the Mu2000ex which has a awesome software tool that really enhances midi compositions with a simple trick, X5DR and the Edirol SD90, but also use more "professional Equipment" like the Roland fantom and Korg Kronos 2 including some odd ones like the Ensonic SQ-80 which is like WW3 hulk version of Commodores SID chip lol. None of these have a perfect sound for instance in high pitched ranges The Rolands brass can be to much for the ears BUT if you throw a compressed Mu2000ex instrument for instance on it and do the volumes levels just right you got something super HQ and not ear piercing, or one of my favorites the Multiple bass trick, Example but relates to all instruments. the Kronos has special circuitry that creates a cool sound called SHIMMERING REVERB but yea Krono's Fretless/Mu2000ex Synth bass/Roland Thumb up dn-Subsonic Bass-Chicken Bass makes for a powerful dynamic bass line. but yea Everything sounds great and glad someone else was able to wrap the mind around the layering technique
