Star Lane Vineyards Barrel Wine Tasting 

The Wine Ponder guys (Laurent & Steve) pulled out their iPhones and joined Winemaker Tyler Thomas at Star Lane Vineyards in Santa Ynez CA (Santa Barbara Wine Country) and several others for a barrel wine tasting experience. And what an experience it was! Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir - Even though the wine still has several months of aging in these barrels, you could really tell how beautiful these wines will taste when they have completed this process and get put into bottles. It was fascinating to taste wines that come from the same vineyard, but taste different due to the various factors involved during the process of making the wine.
