This was a very economical way to get some level trophies and get Sophia out of the Absolute Trash section of the party. Not that levels do much to help you against Disc 2's overturned damage and hitboxes.
I don't know why Sophia deals so much physical damage. Like, I know she has a +500 factor on her weapon because I put it there. But ger strong attack is on par with Cliff and can deal three hits, and it's just ridiculous. I'm thinking she's been sneaking some simulator time and judging Fayt for it out of projection.

Sophia's a physical monster. This is her base weapon with a +500atk trait, basically a simple Laser Weapon. It only gets crazier from here.

That feeling when you think you have a grasp on the game and then you see silly awesome shit like this XD Also Sophia totally sneaking into the simulator, I don't remember a high class resort only having one of those things. I bet the reason she was so tired because she had a long session before she hooked up with Fayt and really had to play it off.

Thanks! These games have all sorts of nonsense you can do. Real talk, I think she's hiding it to guilt Fayt into taking her shopping, and I respect the hustle.

Go Sophia gooooooo. I have a hard time accepting she can do all that damage at level 1. Her stats must have been altered, beserk is turned on, she has a strong weapon equipped, this can't be Earth difficulty you can't earn battle trophies on Earth so Galaxy possibly. I want too see someone defeat Proclaimer on 4D or Universe using only Symbology Magic Attacks with Sophia or Adray solo only using one of them at level 10. That would be a great challenge. Regardless of what my assumptions are impressive win. Sophia put down The Proclamer without breaking a sweat.

What you're looking at is a regular Lv1 Sophia on Galaxy with her first weapon, without added base stats or Berserk. The weapon has a +500atk factor from item synthesis and nothing else; Laser Weapon is not available at this point. The reason she does so much damage is her Short Major attack has the same modifier as Cliff's Short Major, tied for the highest in the game for that attack. It takes some setup, but that's not a problem here. This is in the PS4 port, so modding isn't an option for me as far as I'm aware. I believe I still have a file just before this fight, and doing a Symbology Only fight sounds interesting, so I may have to try that sometime.

@@LevantineR1 Well that answers my question then. It's not her default weapon and there is item synthesis done. I knew it had to be IC because she's doing far too much damage at lv 1 lol. Well, that's all I wanted to confirm for my suspicions. 500 attack adds quite a bit of damage to the characters.

Actually, this is a fresh save file on the PS4, so I do not have full active mode. Sophia's long range attacks really are just that conveniently long range for this fight!

Sophia's weapon has 500atk from item synthesis. I didn't have this explained in the description because I almost always have the equipment setup shown somewhere in the video. Updating it now.
