Red Dead... the only place you can get sniped in the middle of a dressage performance! XD Very cute... Wish they'd add more horse related roles/tasks in the game. Or at LEAST some new coats.

I do this on PS4 and you don’t constantly need to kick if you get the horse to trot etc and hold X. Holding X keeps the speed

On controller/console you can hold your gate by holding down X on a DualShock and the correlating button on the Xbox controller. I highly recommend using controller over keyboard, it makes the camera appear smoother while filming, and you have more control over your horse which makes the game (for me at least) more enjoyable to play Also, the next group session you have should definitely be a horse auction held at McFarlane! I would love to watch you or Kweezy get a new horse/auction off ones you don’t use, as well as see a big group of people present their horses!

this is so goodd!!... im also trying to get red read again because i had the full version before :) but remember to not get the game if you're not 18+ because the game is EXTREMELY violent on both story and online mode! but, you do what you wanna do in the end! (im almost finished with the story btw

I do love the animations in Red Dead, but haven't got the game myself to be able to play it. BTW - the 'drifty movement' you were referring to was actually a rather nice turn about the haunches performed with the correct hind leg crossing over. The correct dressage term for your 'curl' is a circle, and you could have 'medium trot' rather than Trot 2 to be realistic.

star stable dressage is a little bit different ^^ theres a wide set of general moves that the community follows(apart from moves that the club themselves have made up. these moves are typically only for the club and its members to use, as to keep other competing clubs from stealing the move). curl is one of these general moves. im not exactly sure why the word "curl" is used for the move, as opposed to "circle" but it might just be that curl is quicker to say, and a little neater and less straight forward than circle would be.

in my experience, being in many sso clubs over the years, one of the last clubs i was in a while back, used to do walk set, trot set, halt set, etc. and then they would follow it up with a go. that way we would know to prepare for the go, rather than be told to walk and some of us walking immediately.

yes but it is easier on rdr2 to just say it without the sets etc, since it's a bit more hectic than in sso :D

@@vildaravennight1664 red dead online is what was used in this video. red dead redemption 2: ultimate edition is story mode with 2 extra horse coats (and i dont know if there's anything else other than that, since i dont own ue myself.) red dead redemption 2 is just the story mode. I think rdr2 also adds online if it's on ps4 and you have ps plus but idk. dont quote me on that. just do ur research and buy red dead online if you want what's in this video

@@vildaravennight1664 ofc! also, i figured out that if you have wifi and have rdr2 on a pc (computer) you should have both online and story mode. if you purchase rdr2 on steam, there’s a sale right now of 10 dollars less so i totally recommend going for purchase now :)

It would have been nice to see a little more variety in the horse colours or maybe even breeds (though I understand that can effect speeds.) It's harder to tell everyone apart when all the horses look the same.

that is the thing with dressage in star stable as well. clubs typically use one horse breed, with all the same color(or colors since some clubs do alternating horses, like black and white for example) they use the same outfits/tack. it just adds a bit of finess to the line. plus club outfits and horses are a large part of what makes the club recognizable from others. though these "matching horses" and such arent always required if its just a simple club practice ^^ in simpler terms, sso dressage clubs are very competitive, so timing, and matching eachother, are pretty important.

You can’t make solo lobbies in red dead, you can but you have to have a lag system & lag out into a private session.

Rockstar is a shooting game creator. They would never release a game like red dead with only horse things, red dead has alredy costed over 1m dollars to make lol. There is mods on pc to get jumps, and other horse coats. That’s about it

I don't think you can play on Mac. You need a very high-end and expensive gaming PC, a PS4, or Xbox One to run RDR2. Also, you can have a female character on Red Dead Online, though I wouldn't really recommend RDO because Rockstar Games aren't going a great direction with it. I highly recommend story mode, though! It's by far the most emotional, gripping, and cinematic stories in any game I've ever played, it's absolutely amazing :)

Its McFarlane's Ranch in Hennigan's Stead, New Austin. It's a little bit away from Theive's Landing. You'll probably be able to find where it is on the map on Google somewhere :)

if you want to be left alone and not shot you need to stay on sso or deal with it....there are rdo players who's fun is shooting other players so you wont escape it unless you happen to get lucky and none of those type of players are online in you lobby. and your lucky you got away with it as long as you did on PC...PS4 rdo you wouldn't of lasted 5 mins before being shot down cause that version is super toxic with shooting people all the time. it would be nice if people would elave others to do their own thing but yeah theres always a sour grape in the bunch sadly
