Star Stable Online - 10 Things Only Old Player Will Remember 

Started playing sso 2012, some of the new players don't appreciate the things that the sso team has made for us. Miss the old days when there was no fights and u could only have one horse.

I don't like how most of the players hate their starter horse. I did have this bond with it because it was the only horse I've had since the start and I still ride it today. The starter horses are great!!

Do yall remember when during the fast gallop our character was moving her right hand up and down? xD It was so funny. Also when ending a jump she would open her hands xD Damn those animations werw terrible, but they're such nice memories.

THREE WEEKS. I can't even train for three DAYS

I've played since 2011/5 years, and I remember the old website log in. The stable sounds are such nostalgia... You forgot that the only way you used to be able to open the game was by logging onto the website, before SSO's first birthday.

Am I the only one who wishes SSO was still like this, in some ways? :(

And dose anyone remember when players had their horses name under their name if they weren't in a club??

The good old days ❤️ I remember the excitement when the old modeled frezzys came out. You were the popular people if you had one 😅 SSO was my first proper 3D RP game, and I still love it. Played since it first came out, when I was 9 years old. It is a huge part of my life, and my family of horses keeps growing bigger and bigger. Siennastar, Wintergaze, Dangerboy, Hawkeye, Honeydew, Nightshade, Darkprince, Everflyer, Thunderheart, Ravensoul, Autumnwhisper, Embersong, Roserebel, Hotspot, Amethystmist and my starter Skybeam, seem like true family now ^.^

I love this idea for a video, since it's so nostalgic I have to comment on every point hehe. 1. My dear Snowdream, I rode him for more than 1 year before the Buy Horses function came. I surely have a deep connection with him, a connection new players probably don't have because they buy new horses that looks better. How I wish SSO will give our dear Soul Horses an upgrade! 2. Ikr? The stables were so small back then haha! 3. I can confirm that it did not cost any SC to move to another home stable back then. I used to move to Firgrove only because I was doing the egg quest with Mrs. Packard because I was too lazy to ride xD 4. Yeah, basically no equipment fit for racing. And it wasn't such a big thing either :o When I heard some other people talking about that you should take clothes with Riding and Speed so you could be faster, I felt like a spy and did it as well xD 5. I remember the first champ! I read about on the news, but god damn I couldn't find in later in the game HAHA It was only 1 minute left before I found it outside Moorland xD 6. Duuuuude, people today don't know the pain we had. Training your horse took basically a month, today it takes 5 days. I remember that to get from level 14 to 15 you had to do *all* the races for *THREE* days. x_x Clearly one of the best updates SSO have done! 7. I actually didn't know about this bug o.o On the other hand, I was a "good" player back then and didn't use bugs to my advantage xD 8. Omg yes. You were a "big player" when you came to Golden Hills x'D Unlocking GHV was the big thing hahahah. I also wish they'd expand that area, there's so much potential :( 9. Yeah, it was really cool when they added them! 10. It was actually 4 Game Masters online when they gathered in Fort Pinta that day! I wasn't there at the moment but I remember seeing some Game Master that day :D And yep, that small group of people was HUGE back then xD I basically agree with everything you say in this video! So many good memories :')

I been playing for 4 years i think, I joined near halloween one year, and i remember not being able to have more horses or no western bridles sso has really changed!

omg i remember that EVERYONE wanted to go in GHV! Me and my friend tried to glitch in there so many times because it was sooo popular and i remember that the place was crowded and that EVERYONE attended the champion GHV. Now its kinda sad because now there is no one there and i think GH champ is the champ with the few players. Like now its only 1 group in the GH champ. :(

I didn't really unlock golden, steves, valedale, etc until i was a star rider. My mom usually didn't have enough the time i'd ask her, which weren't really a lot of times i asked her. I remember the day i got my membership i was just so estatic and happy. I became a star rider maybe a year or two after playing it for free with my best friend of all time during that game, and i also met 3 more and we'd role play, and then eventually i'd have just those 2 more and we played together on that game almost every day, and the reason i only had like 3 main friends like that was because the forth one got jealous that i was hanging out with those 3 more. the good old days, man. XD

Its sad, Ive seen some people really hate their starter horse. I only started playing in 2016 but I really love my starter a lot. Some people really judge you just because you ride a starter horse. I wish people rode starters more xD

I'm so nostalgic! I joined the day sso came out. OMG! Unfortunately, I couldn't play for a year due to problems with the launcher. This happened again 6 months later. It used to be pretty hard to level up back then, wasn't it? My starter horse, AngelMagic, was the most special horse to me in my home stable. I use her for storyline quests. Thanks so much for making this video!

I remember them when I started playing :D Its been a long time of seeing older things slowly change. And of course starter horses are soul horses along with a soul rider of your own character. It's been a long time ever since it changes from old to new before newer servers are added and newer ppl joined in the game filled with wonderful things that newer players imagine lol xD But hey at least we saw the old ones and able to explain to the newer players

You know, I'm watching this video a couple of months after SSO's 7th birthday, and I'm thinking how even at the time you filmed this video, things were pretty different. I miss the old days, but Star Stable is becoming a better game still! The graphics of all the new things are really high quality. SSO never do that thing where they use the same model but change the colours for different characters, and they have put many more cut scenes with unique character animations. I think they should be proud of themselves, and we should enjoy memories of the good ol' days, but also appreciate the new stuff just as much. Can't wait to see what Star Stable will do in 2019!

Whatever you said was true!! first thing was so emotional, I agree with you our starters were everithing for us Whatever horse i buy i never send my starter on a horse island, and that the new horse will be able to come in stable my starter is always in my stable and i ride it a lot so when someone see me on my starter and in my "inspect" option see that i have a lot of new horses with new animations, player start to laughing on me and i was sometimes bullyed because of my starter, i never care about that players because i love my starter, ilove him a lot♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Now, old members will remember the old modeled horses and our giraffe necks and old animations and loading screen and the fun glitching rock at FP beach.

Loved it! I been playing SSO for about what.. 3? 4 years now? This will be my fourth year celebrating! So happy the games still up and running better than ever, but I miss the old days. Seems SSO just doesn't go by the story line as it used anymore if you ask me. Miss that.

Aww man, those times were really hard.. I'm glad SSO got to improve graphics, the story mode and make sure that every detail must be filled. We're lucky to have this version of SSO! 💖💕💓

I kinda miss the time I joined Sso (I think it was shortly after the 2nd birthday) I miss the old launcher and the feel you had when riding through moorland and seeing all the newbies level up. Also I feel like Sso players today only care fir their outfits and how expensive their horse was or how well-known their club is :( I feel like they put this amazing story completely in the background and only want to brag

It's amazing and sad how SSO has changed. There are actually quite a lot of things from old SSO that I would like back in the game. For example, dressage and the fact that you can actually swim without drowning xD However, I like the fact that we can have an unlimited amount of horses and I think the way the interface on our screens is set out is much more less complicated than 4 years ago!

I've been playing sso for a little over 3 years now, and it's changed so much since than. It always amazes me with how the graphics are. They get better and better after every update. It's amazing really. :)

I remember it all, it was such good times. Star Stable Online has changed so much and I really can’t say that I enjoy the game anymore. I only play when the main story quests come. Fun fact: I started playing like 8 months after sso came out, and I still haven’t bought another horse (except a pony for the pony race) I only have my starter.

I love my starter horse soooo much! It got annoying when I wad training my starter horse which is lvl15 now and people would come up to me and be like why haven't you gotten another horse yet and it really maddened me!

I really miss the old days. I never had my own music, so I listened to SSO's music. Sometimes I put on my headset and turn off my music, use my starterhorse and turn on SSO's backround music. It takes me back in time :)

I still love my starter. I got here a little before the 4th birthday so I'm not ancient lol but I've been here a decently long time.

I was blessed by joining right at SSO's 4th birthday! I'm proud to have joined at that time, this is my 1 year anniversary!

I totally agree with the starter horses point! I personally now am level 10, have not had star rider in 6 months, have had to level up my starter only on the Moorland and Fort Pinta races, and my starter is my only horse, but I love him and I wouldn't exchange him for any other horse in the game! People really do need to take a step back and realise that our starters welcome us into the wonderful world of sso, and when you get to the end of the game, our starters are the ones who are with us! RESPECT THE STARTERS!!

I started playing in 2012 and the game just isnt the same anymore. I remember when the fix the bridge quest first came out and I was so excited and it use to take so long!

As someone who has played SSO for about 4 and 1/2 years plus, I relate to all of this. Im so proud of the team and how much they've come.. I mean I remember the running animation for your main horse, and no other running animation, I also remember when your horse would just stand there and do nothing when you stopped, while now they do some animations. Horses used to be so stiff and bland, but they really upped their game!

Yes, this is why I always do Soul rider, dark core and any quest to do with the sso storyline quests with my starter horse :)

Wow, this was nostalgic!!! I remember waking up super early in the morning to get an hour of playing time before school.... I still only do quests with my original horse lol

I remember the first day that SSO came out in the US. A lot of the people who were on then don't even play anymore, but I certainly still cherish my Jorvik Warmblood. He's still my favorite!

I’ve been playing SSO for about 4-5 years now and when I first joined, there were only ponies and Jorvik Warmbloods for sale 😅 (AS FAR AS 10 Y/O ME KNEW) I actually didn’t recognise the old stables :’) I don’t know everything as you can see 🙈 Lol I don’t know/remember most of them honestly 🤧 I was 10 ;-; So idk 🤷🏽‍♀️ I never really used a computer before I was 7 (I only played like bubble shooter with my grandma lol) So yeah :) Although I’m not here from the beginning, I still love seeing SSO grow throughout the years.
