i would love to have a "remove all tack button" for individual horses and a "untack all horses" button for the entire stable. I hate having to individually untack each horse, it takes so long

What if when you put a large dog into the saddlebag it turns into a plushie of itself or like dog treats/toys sticking out of the bag and when you let it walk it just turns into a big dog.
I have two dream updates: Being able to pet and play with our pets, and having them wander around our Home Stable. For the balloons, and other objects, we could have them put around the Stable in random places each time The other one is the death of our Starter Horse, but it comes back to life in a new coat form that matches with the coat that we had it start off with.
One of my dream updates is Daily log in rewards 😀 it would bring back a lot of players who have quit or have not been going on for a while! Even if its little things like a T-shirt with some matching pants and a hat, with matching horse tack with a cute little pet! that would be amazing! Sso would make a lot more money cause the old players who quit would be coming back, Idk about y'all but I think it would be an amazing idea
I was disappointed to see that the reindeer still haven’t been updated. I would much rather have that first over new horses/tack during the winter event. Maybe for Christmas they’ll announce that they’re almost done with our avatar model update? I mean, I get that it’s tricky since our avatars interact with so many things but it’s been years… All I know is that I’ll be very happy when you don’t look like an ancient piece of wood on the newer model horses. And maybe add some better makeup choices, lmao, and new hair wouldn’t be a bad idea.
For the “quest where’re we go missing” one I think it’d be cool if one of the bad guys kidnapped us and our started horse then we have to escape and get our horse and get back to the stable or whatever area we’re in
As a western rider, a sitting trot would be the absolute best update! And they even showed it on the APH trailer…they can do it! Switching Leads and diagonals would be amazing too

honestly, we need some warmbloods- and more realistic items and barns, plus placeable poles, a dressage arena and even jumps, like marleys jumps, or the riding arenas jumps or just in general some trot poles. we also really need blankets and I would LOVE to see that like, for our home stable we could customize it to be an ACTUAL full blown stable that you could invite your club, group, friends or anyones username you put in into the stable, you could custom color anything and use any model currently in game, plus it would add another thing into the club update thing they have recently done and people, only your friends or club (even group?) could enter into the stable, only if you have it checked on or off on the club permissions tab. just a cool idea i wanted to share with everyone! lysm violet

I’ve always been obsessed with horses and you’ve opened my eyes to a whole new world through the internet, I did unfortunately break my computer but you’re keeping me on the hook haha. Maybe the larger running dogs could rest on your horse, like the pets in Alicia Online do. It wouldn't be very realistic, but it's sso. It's not going to be insanely realistic.
Some of these ideas got me thinking and this is what I came up with: What if our horses had needs, similar to real life? Apart from the originals, they could have a moving need so you have to ride them for a bit or if we had pastures, you could just put them there. They could have "love" need that we can fill up with a nice bath, petting, yummy snacks and activities together. Also our horses could have a need for vet checkups, like hoof care, teeth care, etc. These should cost JS + some time to be "done". Also this is another reason to raise the JS limit and have quests give a more reasonable JS amount. Bonus: to make the vet things easier, we could have an option for our character to "learn" all of it for SC, and we can do it for free and much faster after that. This way sso also gets some of their so-loved money. Also, stable care could cost a bit more, but it would cover all the horses' needs. I know it's not common, but I would love to care about my horses every day like this, would love to clean up their poop and fill up their water and hay... (yeah, the horse caring system "update" was a big disappointment for me) What do you think? Omg sorry for this long post, thank you for reading, here's a unicorn 🦄 (Edit: wording)
It’s a great idea! With that I would love personalities when you buy them! Either you could select personalities for the horse or you just have the chance of having a hotheaded horse that needs to be trained. At the same time, even my max level horses it would be fun if some of them gave sass every once in a while (because I like to give them personalities and some of them have sass).
@@bearlyplaying I like this too! On this note, I would love it if the horses had some lively animations while riding, like little kicks, head turning and things like that. Also some kind of falling off - injuries for both the player and the horse. Nothing major, but you would actually be present while riding somewhere!
The original Star Stable PC games had this little mechanic that different kind of races improved your horse's one type of trait, eg. show jumping improved the jumping ability. Also each horse had a maximum level of each trait, some were very fast but hard to discipline, some were very disciplined but slower. Of course, these were in a single-player game, so this wouldn't work like this in the online game. However I would love it if they reworked this mechanic with personality traits, while maintaining the equal chance of winning for everyone.
what bothers me the most about pets is that you have to wear saddle bags to take them with you. I find it hard to match them with the outfit and also they are super misplaced on the horse. I’d like to be able to let a pet run with me even without wearing a saddle at all, like as a wild horse for example or for free riding
@@bearlyplaying yes, i think i could do that once when i got a horse from the pasture back in the homestable and it already had a set on. I was able to remove everything but the pet. I think it’s only working when the hose has been there before you start the game (so you would have to dress it up, put it in the pasture, logg off and on again),but i did not try a lot 🤔
One of my dream updates is when you’re buying like a ‘ feral ‘ horse, for example a mustang or something, You could actually put up the challenge to rope them, and when you’re successful you’re able to buy and name it, but you have to train it before you can actually start doing races and stuff ( Like quests to train )
I was the first one to see this bid omg and also I love this vid so much and I think my opinion on a dream update is that when you get a halter and put it on a horse that you have a choice to have leadropes
They honestly should make a button that is called " hide all tack to me " It could really help when you wanna see what your horse looks like without tack, or when your rping by yourself ( what i do lol )
that would intervene with some of the quests like the maya ones where you have to ride double. but i would love if they made big dogs i just can’t think of how they would do it just yet.
My dream update is being able to play on mobile- it would be so much easer to play on my phone instead of having to cut my Pc on and wait 30 minutes for it to load because it’s is 20 years old

I started getting into sso because of you, this was a good 6-7 years ago when I was only 4-5 years old. Been begging my mum for 6 years to get me sso and it only just came on mobilise so I have got it! I used to get so upset that I couldn’t play it when you could! Ahah, but you are the main reason I got into star stable so thank you so much and my mum is hating me for it her bank account is going down a lot 😯💗 Lysm though
my dream update would be a storyquest where we move in the island, since arent we supposed to just be visiting the island on summerbreak? also your own apartment like lisa or linda have, the living pets could be there
it be cool if the horses would jump the correct height of the jumps, in my opinion it just looks silly for the horses overjumping 10 ft high over a crossrail

This may sound weird or something but one of my update ideas that probably wont happen is a rp mode, not many people rl now but it wluld have cool features in it such as, different mounts to mount your horse like a bareback mount, rodeo type mount if you know what i mean, it would also maybe add different emotes for your horse and character like a bucking horse, sit by your horse where ever you want etc etc, this may sound confusing but if you know what i mean this would be quite a cool update

For the big dog not fitting in the saddlebag thing, maybe when u buy it it’ll just say “This pet is not compatible with saddlebags” etc or something along the lines of the message that pops up when u try to put leg wraps on a thick horse ?
I think they have a 10k jorvik shillings limit so you can't buy a whole outfit, lots of tack, clothes, ect. So you will buy star coins because it takes less time to save up.

I used to play the starshine legacy games as a kid and I've been trying so hard to figure out where the high school would be in. Like I feel like it being in Jorvik city would be odd but also Anne lives in Jorvik city (if I'm not mistaken) so someone would have to travel really far either way,,, I just really hope I get my answer one day and also just seeing the outside of the school would be so nostalgic if would be worth it tbh

For the "we go missing" update idea; it could be that we get kidnapped or smth and as we do, the screen goes black and suddenly we're playing as one of the soul riders, trying to find our character with the Keepers of Aideen
That sounds actually really fun maybe our horse like the one we had on at the moment comes running to the keepers to tell them what’s wrong If it’s not a update maybe one day I can write a fanfic *shrug*

my dream update has to be a update to see what horse still has tack on because the amount of times I keep forgetting to take the tack off of my horses, and when I do forget and remember I would have to go through every single one of my 90+ horses to see what horse still has tack on. Sometimes I don't, I just buy that same tack again.
The whole retro sso game thing. They could totally do something like Runescape and have Star Stable Online and then like an Old School SSO. Kind of like a standalone thing (throwback to the orange cat loading screen with the pink stuff and no girths)
My ideas: Ability to buy horses with enough shillings Single player mode Mules Ability to earn star coins some how Stable pets (pets that you can care for but stay in the stable or your own mini paddock) Horse blankets Miniature horses or donkeys (as walking pets or stable pets) Ability to type the names for your character and horses (They could have moderators like in chat) Ability to name your pets (I typed this out before I finished watching the video-)
Maybe with the big dog thing they could have a aging system where it’s a puppy then it ages and you’d have the out it in the room (from when the pets in the closet came up) and that was the only way to put it away? Idk
I just want to say- It would be so cool if we had like big dogs and they couldn't go in our saddlebag, it would just ride on the back of your horses butt, so you could just look back at your fluffy friend. :)
i think it would be fun if you could have your friends ride around with you on ur horse, kinda like how we pick up evergrey all the time and he rides on our horse, I think it would be funny- (obviously without being able to take them into areas they haven't unlocked)
I want Martingales, Bonnets, Rugs, Leadropes, and Dressage, like not the club dressage but like a daily training that we get xp from, like the you have to follow the arrows on the ground. I also want a option that can be turned off and on that makes it more realistic and you have to get the strides to jumps right or you knock it over. And I really really want Shetlands as large walking pets.
I think that since now there are options to change the horses genders, the start stable team could make personalities based off the gender you chose for your horse. Geldings are bred to be calmer, mares are more sassy and sometimes don’t like other horses, and stallions are- stallions I don’t know. I just think that would make since.
