Just wanted to pop in and say thank you for sending pre-order buyers the Captain's Log free supplemental PDF. The Lower Deck ships are great, but I really LOVE the mission prompts. I'd buy an entire supplement of just those.

I love the game and so does my group. I got blown away by the announcement of the Captain's log book. A bit annoyed that i bought the Starforged solo book 6 weeks ago... but actually, i think it might be fun to mix the Starforged tables with the STA Captain's log tables. I also discovered these updates, so I subscribed! Thanks for all your work and your love for the game.
Strange that Captain's Log has cheered me up a bit. I'm middle aged and not a big fan of what happened to Star Trek these last 30 years. My gaming buddies are 30 + years long dispersed and I find myself lately thinking back nostalgically to my RPG days in the 80s, especially my five years of hard core FASA Trek. The rules to CL seem pretty easy, not much record keeping to do, but it allows me to do "theatre of the mind" easily enough by taking the prompts I'm given and run with it creatively. Hell, I could throw in my old characters from WEG's Star Wars, etc into the mix as well in one last RPG attempt as well. Thanks for this product, as well as Five Leagues and Five Parsecs. All 3 are solitaire gems.
I hope this isn’t a silly question but are the scales for enemy starships given anywhere in the book? Not sure if I keep missing them or if I’m supposed to reskin a Starfleet ship (ie, a D7 is roughly similar to a Constitution-class so the D7 would be 4).
They're not specifically laid out (they're covered in a variety of STA products). Feel free to grab any Federation ship and rename it to a Klingon ship, or a Romulan ship, etc.
