Star Trek Beyond is an upcoming American science fiction action film and the sequel to Star Trek Into Darkness (2013). It is the 13th film in the Star Trek film franchise and the third installment in the reboot series. The film is directed by Justin Lin from a screenplay by Doug Jung and Simon Pegg based on the series of the same name created by Gene Roddenberry. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto reprise their roles as Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock, with Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho and Anton Yelchin reprising their roles from the previous film, with Idris Elba and Sofia Boutella joining the film's principal cast. Principal photography began on June 25, 2015 in Vancouver. The film is scheduled for a July 22, 2016 release. The film will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Star Trek franchise.

I love how Chris has no masculinity hang up whatsoever, he straight up gave genuine cheek kisses to John, and not just like, fist bump hug or something

@@JoaquinPhi That's nonsense, those are all big names in the industry. Simon Pegg just shot another Mission Impossible film that year (number 5 I think), Zachary Quinto is loved all over the planet, Karl Urban is one of the greatest Lord of the Rings exports and Sofia Boutella has reached a lot of fame for her acting and dancing on the big screen by now, e.g. she shot the mega hit Kingsman shortly before Star Trek! It's not their fault that you don't know or don't care about their great and international work. Besides, it's a movie premiere honoring the stars of that film and their central contributions to the project, which they are! What's your point anyway?!

(I am old) these kids r gr8 actors, didn't recognize them out of costume...their voice is what tipped me off...& Jason isaccs..wow Jason was the despicable red coat in the patriot w mel Gibson..we all hated him, til he had a martini...any guy that can evoke hate like that, in a movie is good.

I love JAYLA ( SOFIA BOUTELLA) and Mr. Spock (Zachary Quinto) in the film... also the actor who played, Scottie, Simon Peg...and Karl Urban ( Bones) and John Chu as Sulu. I have a little problem with Chris Pine, the actor who played Captian Kirk... No one can replace William Shatner. Sorry, but, Shatner was a 100 times more good looking in his younger days than Chris Pine...It is really sad to hear about Anton Yelchin... May God Bless his soul..

Chris is getting gray hair and beard so he may look older than he actually is BUT look at his face when he has no beard! His face is so beautiful and masculine. And thos eyes are probably the bluest i have ever seen. He's stunning. Shatener wasn't that good looking even though i like him too
