One of the best things about the expansion for this game was the free roaming around the ship mode. Granted it wasn't a complete tour but it was still fun.
I don't know who owns the rights to these old games anymore but I just I wish both EF1 and EF2 could someday be given a proper remake. That dark moustache around Seven of Nine's mouth, along with Telsia's mutton-chop sideburns are both really bothering me. lol. (yes, I'm aware of the limitations of 3d-character modeling, back in the q3a days, but still...)
I used to have this game on PS2. Accurate representation of sets, but I wish there had been more accurate sound effects, even if they had to use some from TNG (shuttlebay door and klaxon) and DS9... plus it's sad to not hear at least prerecorded Majel Barrett computer lines from the shows. How could they not get Majel in the game, but they got the main cast? ;-; I'm sure there's some unfortunate reason, but it's still quite sad for me. I would say that Majel is practically a main cast member since the computer voice is in so many episodes.
That's the thing, Elite Force 1 had such weird stock sound effects that weren't in Trek which is why I like the sound design of Elite Force II better as it stayed more faithful to the series.
