My version for the Star Wars version of the A Team are the Republic Clone Commandos of Delta Squad. "In 4 ABY, a short time after the destruction of the Second Death Star an Imperial Commando unit was sent to Prison by an Imperial Court for a crime they didn't commit. These Men promptly escaped from the Maximum Security Asteroid Prison of Oovo IV. Today still wanted by the Empire, they survive as a Special Ops unit for the New Republic. If the Republic has a problem and if the new Jedi Order can't help, and if you can find them. Maybe you can hire, Delta Squad" (blaster fire, theme music plays) Starring Delta 38 as Boss, Squad Leader. Delta 40 as Fixer, Teams Hacker and Slicing into security systems. Delta 62 as Scorch, Demolitions Expert loves to set stuff a blaze. And Delta 07 as Sev, FierceBlood thirsty Deadeye Marksman and the teams Muscle.

When the late great Steven Cannell ruled the air waves : A-Team, Riptide, Hunter, Greatest American Hero. The "Irwin Allen" of tongue in cheek detective shows. Ahhh when TV was free.

I never would have guessed, but Chewbacca's grunts and roars translate perfectly into, "I pity the fool!!"

One of the few times when I can literally claim "lol"! Excellent job of setting clips at exactly the right moments for maximum funny (at least, for those of us who remember how the original A-Team openings were set up).

If The Lincoln Continental Town Car was the best car during that time I can assure you that there is people owning one of these cars these days and a lot of other people that just love visiting different car-events where that car is one of the cars being showed. Every category you can think of have people with a burning interest in it. Movies are just one category with more people. You might not enjoy old movies but many others do. Each to his/her own and just be happy about it.

@MeetTheChampines Since there where only three in the original A-Team intro and since only the first one was quoted with their character name within the show, I did the same.

I came into this thinking how funny could it be when in fact this was pretty serious, nicely done.

7 years later, but wow. if you need another idea, you should use "California Highway Patrols" Opening Soundtrack (C.Hi.Ps). OK, they are a duet but you could manage for a quartet, with Leia (RIP Carrie :( ), Luke, Han and Chewie for sure. ;)

You have to take in to account that Star Wars is much much more than just the movies. Since the release of the first movie there has been a lot of books and comics about the Star Wars universe. Some really good to. Because of this the Star Wars "saga" is in a well documented galaxy (or galaxies :P) and many "fanatics" have all these stories in the back of their heads when they follow the movies. But the main reason it's famous is because it's 35 years old. Nothing was even close at that time.
