@@OdileOdile19 Which? I saw a deleted scene with Biggs from ANH and one with Luke finishing his lightsaber from RotJ. Do you mean the Leia sound clip? That sounded like dialogue from the Death Star.
The negativity is well deserved though. If you’re actually a Star Wars fan you have to be disgusted with the way Disney has pretty much ruined the saga
Lucy Logan I personally love the Force Awakens and think the Last Jedi is overhated and it has several things that are good about it, but I can understand not liking it.
SednaYT maybe because they’re objectively bad films. They’re riddled with plot holes and inconsistencies, the characters are either annoying or fucking morons. The fact that Disney bought Star Wars and killed it within three years was the only impressive thing about any of them
gary24fan why are you so agressive? i'm just saying i don't think this is a good introduction to the saga for those that never watched it because it spoils everything. damn fine tribute though.
Thatcher Milton What makes you say after? This is something you should most certainly play before the movie. It's a recap as well as HYPE ULTRA. You say run couldn't hype me up more than this.
@@mxtt8899 every hardcore OG fan hates the sequels they ruined so many amazing characters and only millenials actually enjoy the shit JJ Abrams mistakenly produced 😠😩
@@allicjasmith368 not every hardcore og fan hates it. I mean star wars theory is the perfect example of that. A true fan will always enjoy it if its star wars, yes they can be bad but never truly hated
The Han Solo editing was really well made, syncing the music with flipping switches. And having Han disregard the force, then later on how he says its true. Really well done Topher and Jeff.
CHILLS. This is the fandom I love, just loving and embracing the magic all throughout the series. The good, the bad, it’s amazing because it’s star wars and it feels like something matters in it. Btw when Yoda said “there is another” and it cut to Rey my heart STOPPED. That was GENIUS.
And Topher is the guy who said he admires the prequels and he put this together as a honoring love letter to star wars and the prequel original and sequel trilogies (duology for sequels cause the proper ep 9 hasnt released been made yet)!!
You know youre a true star wara fan when you can appreciate all the movies. Yes theyre not all good, but still has great part in them, great scenery, great acting and great action. The saddest part so seeing a community so aggressive against each other. Lets all appreciate what we have and love, which is star wars.
It makes me so sad seeing SW fans attacking each other for which films they like most. Like please! Star Wars is Star Wars! There is no such thing as rEaL fAnS or whatever they call it :/
Well everyone has a opinion I sincerely like the prequels best and the sequels worst now because of the Movies that shall not be named from my point of they the last 2 were bad not from plot but acting and other stuff
This truly is Star Wars. The original trilogy, prequel trilogy, sequel trilogy, spinoffs, the TV series we have and that are yet to premiere, the comics, etc. When I was a young boy, around 7 years old, my uncle and I were watching TV flipping through channels until we came across the Geonosian arena fight from Attack of the Clones. He stayed tuned in knowing that he wanted to see something with action but for me, it opened my eyes to appreciate what would soon become my favorite film series/ franchise. When he changed the channel to look for something else, I begged him to change it back to Episode 2 and from that moment on, Star Wars had always been a part of my life. This was an amazing video for this was what I needed to become hyped for Episode IX which I am really looking forward to this December.
I had a similar situation. Star Wars was always there. It felt like something legendary and iconic, even though i only watched like 5 minute of Vader and luke fighting when i was 5 years Old. I never got to watch any film fully until 2013, i saw revenge of the sith. Thats when it sparked, but i wasnt fully on Star Wars. Then 2 years later, i got invited, to See the premierę of force awakens, literally an hour before it started. When the Lucas film logo came on, and Then the most iconic music ever, thats when i understood, what Star Wars really was. Force awakens was a really fun, mysterious and definetely not forgetable movie. It was like a New hope, but for younger generations.
I love them. Every single one of them. Not just the original trilogy, but the prequels. And the sequels too. They're all Star Wars, and I love Star Wars! I love them!
Agreed. And, I am sure i am not alone when I say that one simple 9 word sentence brings the chills every time: "I am a Jedi...like my father before me."
Well one fell to the dark side, the other fell to.... the middle? Meh, in the grand scheme of destroying galaxy spanning Republics, it is an improvement.
@@WideMouth Don't be a fool, VII was garbage too and anyone with a brain knew it the night they saw it. Disney Star Wars is a wretched failure, and every gutless 'nerd' that lapped it up like they do their juvenile superhero movies should be ashamed for eternity.
I've seen these movies 100 times each over my life, and this still gives me chills. Unlike any other movie made, and I don't know why I have an affinity towards them
After 40+ years of Star Wars in my life this sums it up fantastically (tears and goosebumps included ;o)! Let's value SW as a whole and not only movie by movie....and let's get ready for #9!!!
Last night, I watched Return of the Jedi with my girls for their first time. They are eight, and since before they were born, I've been making sure that nobody spoiled this for them. Has been an incredible experience, and helped me rediscover the childlike wonder that these movies activate inside me.
George Lucas: “The Force is a perception of the reality that exists around us. You have to come to learn it. It’s not something you just get. It takes many, many years…Anyone who studied and worked hard could learn it. But you would have to do it on your own.” Rey: Masters the force in half a week.
"I am a Jedi... Like my father before me." I was fortunate enough to have seen the original Star Wars in the theater during its first week of theatrical release in 1977. Thank you for that moving tribute to that which has long been a touchstone, a meridian-line, through my life. I was deeply touched... I needed a tissue at the end. Absolutely brilliant work, well done, and again, thank you.
@@joeman99983 agreed. I'm a huge fan and just stick to the original trilogy at this point. Being a fan doesnt mean accepting a turd because it has star wars written on it.
@@joeman99983 I don't like it in context to the movies, but if Yoda had been talking about her it would have been much better from a narrative perspective. So I don't mind it.
There's a lot of amazing cuts here, but my favorite by far is the match cutting between the Vader vs. Obi-Wan battle in ANH and Kylo vs. Luke in TLJ. Just brilliant!
@@hplalakrs2001 What semantics? This was basially Kylo Ren beeing trolled by a bum located on a planet at millions of light year. You consider this chatter and air waving on the same level as this : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9Uvad9uSc9k.html ???
Outstanding guys! As a professional editor myself, I must say....timing of edits, shot selection, music selection, transitions....so well done! And yes, really loved the use of deleted scenes and even using the one off movies for deeper story telling and character enhancement. Bravo!!
Well, colour me speechless: headed to the comments, fully expecting it to be full of TLJ haters, dumping on the new movies... and yet the applause seems to be pretty much unanimous. And rightfully so, it’s a stunning piece of work, summing up all the power, the majesty, the fun and the action of the entire series. Well done, you crazy kids, well bloody done.
Brandon Mcleod Why would they? Yorkes and Grace made the compilation of videos and edited them together to make this. There are no copyright infringement laws in place that could justify that action. Not to mention they're not selling the video to anyone.
Kyreun to be fair, she only defeated him because he was injured by a bowcaster bolt that usually sent stormtroopers flying several feet and because he was holding back cause Snoke ordered him to bring her to him alive.
Kyreun You do if you’re not at 100% capacity. Try having a fist fight with someone who’s never been in a fist fight before, but right before the fight happens, someone kicks you in the nuts three times. See how you would fare.
@@gabrielarredondo3825 Those are fair arguments, but then it would have made sense for Finn to have won. Or at least perform far better than he did... I'd have expected a combat-trained stormtrooper to have the edge over an untrained brawler. Don't get me wrong, I actually love the fight between Kylo and Finn. It's a good character moment for Finn, and it finally shows what we'd heard for decades: that lightsabers aren't rare because they're magic, but because they're so hard to use effectively. I'm not wholly against Rey having won that fight, but they should have done more to show Kylo's weakness, so as not to neuter him as a threat going forward. It was clear he was still drawing power from his pain and his rage, but they'd had it so that he was swaying on his feet or show his strngth flagging on its own, that would have helped a lot. They way they did it undermined Kylo as a real threat, and made Rey too OP. Both were fixable in a sequel, though, which is why I didn't mind it much originally. But we didn't get that, so it recontextualizes it as a problem. Though I'm still with Mark Hamill, that would have been an excellent time for Luke Skywalker to show up, right after Finn went down.
You guys made me fall in love with Star Wars again, and I wasn't even a huge hater of any of the movies, lol. Thank you for this. May the Force be with you. Always.
Can we as Star Wars fans enjoy this amazing masterpeice in 5 minutes this made me cry, smile, and more and it shows no matter which generation of star wars you grew up with Star Wars Will Always Be With You.
I have a genuine love for all three trilogies, for different reasons each. I hope in a decade, people will come to terms with the sequels the same way they did with the prequels.
Yes I love this and I love how equally he spread the love over all the films. This is why we need to champion every movie so that there are more, whether we personally prefer one over another, that all well and good, but come on, let's go into 9 and be positive and make sure we have more Star Wars. It will be Leia's last round and Williams last score. I loved when Yoda said there is another and we cut to Rey. And above all Williams Music is just always stunning and almost makes me cry! I cannot wait for 9 to come and for the tv series. Just give me more! Thank you for this!
Topher Grace ... And Jeff Yorkes ..... You guys have done it . Im literally crying tears of joy . Mr Grace i just wish i can watch your 85 minute cut on the sequels Grace . but the trailer was bad ass.
This is beautiful and amazing and I could watch it all day. This shows the unity of Star Wars in its entirety, every trilogy, even spinoffs. This is the way it’s meant to be appreciated.
Fantastic! But you should have included at least one line of dialogue from Darth Vader as voiced by James Earl Jones. "If you only knew the power of the Dark Side!"
This is why I love Star Wars. I love all the movies. I’m so lucky to be a fan and live in a time where Star Wars is still thriving. And it will outlive the negativity. The light side will always triumph. I’m so happy to have had Star Wars in my life. My life is better because of it. Thank you George. Thank you Kathleen. Thank you Marcia. Thank you Gary. Thank you Irvin and Ben and JJ and Rian, and Frank and Mark and Harrison and Carrie.... too many people to name. Thank you STAR WARS. ALWAYS.

I was eleven when I was first in line on May 25th, 1977 and saw Star Wars for the first time of many many times. Thank you, Topher and Jeff. This was actually unexpectedly beautiful. You made an old guy tear up.
Sorry, but TLJ is garbo and essentially ruins the sequel trilogy. Its objectively poorly written and leaves any possible story line for the finale in shambles.
Oh my god, you made me cry. I saw Ep.4 when I was 10 years old in the movie theater with my dad, and I've seen EVERY film since then with him. Thank you so much
4:25 this moment define all that is star wars to me, star wars was always about mythology and the journey of the hero, bringing the goodness out in people, simple as that to me, the force being this inner power to channel and use for good, the passing from generation to generation, what it takes to be a good person as Luke showed when he redeemed vader, I may not like the sequels and what they did to everything, but I loved how star wars is a generational thing, movies being passed down and a huge legacy from one mans imagination, MAY the force be with us, and no matter how 9 turns out I hope it doesnt add more fuel to the fire and can just be a good final film to wrap things up, thats all I hope for
On this day, May 25th, 2022, the biggest and greatest film franchise in history turns 45 years old. Happy 45th anniversary Star Wars! May the Force be with you, always!
This really does harmonise all the movies in to one giant epic. Sure there are things I don’t like, especially in Rise of Skywalker but there’s also so much to love in every film because every film was made with the best intentions, to add something new and special to this franchise. Ultimately, some films succeeded more than others.
Regardless of which Star Wars movies we personally like or dislike, I think unanimously we can say that this is an amazing video and I hope it can unite all the fans. Remember, at the end of the day, we all can say we love Star Wars.
Say what you like about about how Star Wars has gone off the rails, this is made with affection, care and love and reminds us why it is the greatest franchise of them all. Great work, guys, I was moved
This video proves two things without a shadow of a doubt. One is that in even the worst Star Wars movies, there’s at the very least one scene that when separated from the rest of the mess stands on its own as a beautiful piece of filmmaking. And two is that even though they’re fantastical science fiction movies about laser swords and space travel, at its core it’s a very human tale of family, friendship, and how no matter the shitty situations you may be in now, a life of excitement and is always on the horizon if you believe hard enough. That’s what has made Star Wars resonate with so many people for so many years. And why it will continue to resonate for many more years to come.
THANK YOU TOPHER GRACE! I loved your character on 70's Show, because I was him! Now you have come full circle and completed your journey, bringing us the ULTIMATE Star Wars trailer! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
