Nice progress, Z! Thoroughly enjoying watching your build. An FYI for you. In case you don't know, Bandai plastic and enamel thinners don't get along at all. Before you start any weathering, give the kit a good seal with an acrylic clear. Cheers, my friend
Zin, I am interested to see how quickly one progresses with this kit. With the imminent end of the school term this weekend, and my liberation from having to deal with the students, I'm hoping to start doing some sub-assemblies on armament for the 7 or 8 airplane kits I have stacked up around the living room - but slowly, so I don't accidentally make any decisions that might preclude a particular weapons load-out for any diorama I may wish to eventually fabricate. Take care
Dear Tron, This is a very quick project and allows the honing of several skills- accurate assembly, some fine detail painting and a degree of imagination. For many, it will be a weekend project- two days from start to finish! Have a good holidays with all your projects!! Regards, Z
I loving the concept of making the model look active rather than static ZZ. Those kits articulate so well that you might as well take advantage if you can. Have a good weekend!
Dear Marley, I’m of the same opinion- my rendering won’t have any punters in it, so will be static however. Mind you, I am tempted to arrange the legs in some sort of outlandish pose!! Regards, Z
