i did it in hard as rebels. Theres a lot of tough choices that you really need to know what you're doing. And being the rebels, income is a hassle!

Oh dear it seems you've already made the mistake of trying to attack Sullust early on when unless your playing as the Empire Sullust starts out with a capital shipyard,also if you go to Bothawai you can see that you can recruit rebel simpasiers and send them to get credits on high value worlds and the reason why you can see some of the stuff on the Enemy planets early on is cause of Bothawai's bonus of giving you intel on nearby systems and as you can see besides Xizor who is in a Lucrehulk (for some reason the AI likes to put him on the ground instead of in space but anyways) the black sun forces to the south aren't as strong in the beginning but can be really strong if you let them build up.

Use Han and Chewie in space Battles. The Millennium Falken is a Beast in Combat.

The hutts won’t be playable, that faction is just there so the devs can give them an Ai

You really shouldn't save in battle. That will corrupt your save files.
