Thank god they doing away with that token system. I hated it so much and like you, loved flying but never really got much chance cause someone else would get the token before me. My question though, how many players can choose to fly during the match? is there a cap to how many players can be in the skies?
From what I can gather, the system works the same way -- only so many people able to fly, and if the slots are taken you'll have to wait your turn. Basically everybody has the points to spend, but there are only so many slots. At least you get a solid chance now though.

Please explain why the originals are better? There is no possible way that the OG Battlefronts did not have their fair share of technical issues. I loved Battlefront II, played that shit all the time when I was younger.

I will agree on the statement that he's comparing 2017 animation to 2005 is a little wild. Lolux Okay, I completely agree. Boarding the ships in II and smashing it into the enemy base in space was probably the best thing I did. Instant action, conquest, maps I agree with that all. But I'm going to try going into this game without comparing it to the original Battlefronts. It's going to be hard, but for the company that created the garbage pile of their first Battlefront to improve this much... I'm going to keep my hopes cautiously up.
I can already sense the saltiness from players who get rammed by a Vulture Droid. You know why I'd do it? Because the real Vulture Droids do. Just go watch any space battle from The Clone Wars. You'll see a Vulture Droid ram something.

Dru White the problem is that wookie are only fighting at the side of the clone in kashyyyk, they are not part of the republic army, but I get your point about droid commando, the thing is that I doubt that we see more than two type of special unit in faction share across all map, but with kashyyyk confirm I think that we are going to get wookie only on this planet, I am not very sure if we will get droid commando but it would be sick don't get me wrong 😁
Dru White I understand your point about balancing, but its just that dice try to recreate the atmosphere of the film and without droideka there is something missing and I know that commando can't be 100% a match for droideka its just that you can't make each special character or vehicule be the exact match to the opposite faction (look the AAT vs the scout walker) also magna guard would be incredible, especialy now that the lightsaber animation are so good, but because of their rarity in the films, I doubt that we will get them. Its just that sometime people forget, that unfortunately DICE have to keep the same amount of class, heroes and vehicules, between each ERA, even if the prequel have the biggest amount of planets, type of soldier, vehicules, and heroes which is a shame because damn I can never have enough 😢. Its just that the prequel is such a great ERA to be make in a game.
well we are forgetting the special unit clones there were a few that would be perfect and droid wise the Magna Guards would be the best against the Clone commandos but Droidekas need to be there but there is the MEC troopers
Makes me wonder if they will do a similar style game on Geonosis or Teth, utilising the AT-TE in the role of the MTT where the droids have to stall the advance of the AT-TE and the Clones have to support it's advance.
I'm so glad they changed the aerial combat. The previous "simplified" aerial combat was such of a pain. I felt like I was so limited to evading other fighters. I can't wait to see how the new star fighter mode turns out.
Youssef Shanbaky I think so. despite all the criticism I had an absolute blast with the first game. and $10 for all the DLC included is a pretty sweet deal.
First off all dlc in battlefront 2 is free second the stuff you are considering buying for an extra ten dollars can be unlocked by just playing the game, if you remember in the 2015 version the special edition came with Han Solo's blaster pistol, its pretty much the same this for BF2
I think what he means is that Disney just rehashed the original trilogy instead of making original Al vehicles and soldiers like the prequel trilogy. I didn't like that either.
Louie Hendrix all of their new ships are like small variations of ships from the original trilogy and kind of boring to look at because they seem so familiar, that's just my opinion taste in spaceships is probably different for everyone😂

The N-1 has always been my favorite starfighter, and its amazing to see it so beautifully rendered here, sound design is on point as well. DICE did a fantastic job recreating star wars for BF2, somehow even better than before.

Jared Akigbesote despite what the media has been saying I don't think this is supposed to be the battle of Naboo that we saw in EP 1. this is just a battle where Naboo gets attacked during the clone wars. Now as for the heroes, yeah they technically shouldn't be there but they want to show off the heroes and it doesn't really bother me that much.
I've been waiting for this! When they kill a Starfighter they should be shot down, not just flip around and explode, but crash to the ground. It looks as though that may be what we're getting
I like the fact that you have to work with team mates and work the objectives to get the good stuff with points. now maybe we'll get less people who just camp all the good vehicle and hero pick ups
MassiveG, The AAT tank have to support two pilots, one for drive (and the front blasters) and the another for the cannon. It would a way very more fun, despite it's very awkward seeing the "upper cannon" of the AAT so damn static whilhe the vehicle moves. When, in fact, the upper cannon is independent from the driver and its direction. I also say it about the others vehicles which operates with more than one player. All them should to be available at the map, for team to getting. Ony the individual vehicles for individual effort (battle points). EA should to get rid once at all, that ideia of everthing be available individually.
Please Dice don't listen to the crybabies screaming about cross era and how it disturbs their safe space. IT ADD VARIETY, which is what battlefront DESPERATELY needs.
Please tell me there's no lock on blasters....there's no skill at all and it wasn't even consistent. You'd lock on and be hitting your target but it wouldn't be taking damage. Why not make it more like battlefield? More skill, more judgement and slower speed. Not interested at all at this point
Dave Gunner As far as I know there will be no lock on blasters whatsoever. There will only be lock on missiles and these seem to be far less effective as you will have far more control over your spacecraft vs the previous game.
Is this the same graphics as Battlefront 2015? Would I be able to play this on my PC if middle graphics was the highest I could play BF 2015 with? Was hoping I'm not gonna be forced to buy a ps4 to play this game.

It's a shame the artificial horizon they showed working in the trailers doesn't work ingame. Well to be honest nothing works in the cockpit, the blinking warning lights on it's side and front panels are probably meant to say that. It even looks like power to one system is constantly being switched on and off. To be honest I'm asking way too much, but they made the RPM gauge and speedometer work in BF1. Still, too much detail to ask for.

We should be able to attack targets that are hanging around like those CIS troop transports rather than them just being a skybox. Skyboxes suck, especially now that other games have proven they don't need to exist. Single ground-to-space battles with no transition was going to be a thing in the original Battlefront 3 years ago, it can be a thing now.
The N-1 Starfighter has been my favorite ship since I was a kid but I honestly don't like how the N-1's sound effects sound in this game, I mean when it fires I honestly wouldn't mind it when it's ability is on but, when not being used I want it to go back to it's one shot left right type of firing with its iconic firing noise and it also seems to be lacking it's, I guess engine, noise and swooshing sounds :/

I play third person and go zigzag there’s a 50 50 chance I escape plus a do a epic and fly behind the enemy’s 3:32 something like that but I go behind them on the ps4 I play btw

I would have been so pissed if you couldn't fly the Naboo Starfighter. Those things are so sleek looking, probably the classiest looking dogfighter in the entire saga. They ooze royalty
If they don't bring back assault from Bfront II or Conquest from the BF series, which DICE established in the early 2000s, I won't purchase. Also need splitscreen, with ticket sliders for long games offline with a friend or a sibling. If the splitscreen has no squadspawns and dodgy AI balancing like in "Battlefront" that would disappointing if they implemented it.
