Star Wars Battlefront 2 is just incredible in 2024...

This mode feels like the spiritual successor to BF:2142's Titan mode. 2 phases, capture ground stations to destroy the enemy Titan's shields, board, then destroy the reactor.

Only thing about that game mode. You could get up to the ship and fail to destroy the last objective. Then you are back down at kamino fighting to get back to the ship. If the enemy wins. They are on your ship and visa versa. Can be there for hours back and forth

For the ship phase, I would definitely recommend using the clone commando over the rocket trooper. With the commando you can dish out large amounts of splash damage with your anti-armor attachment, perfect for tightly packed hallways with lots of enemies.

That game and scenario, with the rain, is AMAZING.

This game had bad press because of the pay to win power card system, it took like 200 hours to unlock the best characters for free, it was well deserved criticism, hopefully they make a third one properly.

01:12 you can unlock the dual scope (or whatever the specific name is) attachment for your weapon You have to get a certain number of kills with the specific weapon you want attachments for though I think it's 25 for the first 50 for the second and 75 for the third but I'm not sure on those numbers

Use the ALT key to dodge, you can do it with any normal infantry, good to evade shots, with jedi or sith it's good to move quickly too.

If you do co-op multiplayer missions, you play against bots but can level up your classes still. So it’s far easier to unlock the one shot sniper on that with a lot less time/effort

Imagine this was in 2015. The use of photogrammetry in that game was unmatched and still rivals games coming out this year.

I had great time playing BF 2 - the atmosphere, maps design, classes/heroes, vehicles..... When in mood for these kind of game I can't decide between Battlefront 2 and Battlefield 1. Both are masterpieces

I'm quite a veteran in Battlefront 2 and it is hands down my personal favorite videogame. On Xbox this game is kept alive by a really incredible community.

When you play the heavy when you have your shield on crouch so the enemy can't shoot your feet to still deal damage

The beauty of this game is why so many of us desperately want Star Wars BF 3. All that they need to do is add new maps and heros, I'd pay for that.

My friends and i still play this on xbox, supremacy,galactic assault and co-op. It is awesome, so much more detail than most modern games. I will push back on you speaking about the bad reviews….when this game came out it was terribly monetized by ea. The game was unplayable and frustrating with the loot boxes. They eventually abandoned all of that and made it a progression system.

Yeah that's just another great thing about Battlefront 2: Persistent Lobbies. Just way better to keep players in a lobby until they manually opt out imo.

I have a 7900 xtx and 7950x3d so naturally downloaded top-tier AAA games. But this is the best-looking one, better than those made in Unreal Engine 5

It's such a great game and gives so much star wars nostalgia. The upgrades are definitely worth putting time into and learning they can really change how you play with characters including the heroes/villains. Also give the heroes Vs villains mode a go!

Quick question, I have this game on pc and I was wondering what the wait times for these games are since I only play single player, I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting for multiplayer? Also are you playing on console or pc?

This game is underrated Idc what anyone says the graphics are gorgeous and it is SO well optimized my PC is a peice of crap and somehow runs it crisply ! The maps are gorgeous the gameplay is fluid and so many classes and characters.. its just so good.

I remember there being a big lootbox/mtx/gambling controversy when the game released? Maybe the bad reviews came from that? I think at some point they disabled all mtx from the game?

Single player is great too! gives you a shotgun ability, which charges your grenade ability on kill.

I think a lot of the initial backlash from this game came from just how bad Battlefront I was, especially from the people who loved the older Battlefront games from Star Wars. This game is a total improvement over Battlefront I and all the updates they've done to it

You should roll much more, you take reduced damage while your rolling and it lets you immediately get out of the way of enemy fire Dashing with Jedi is even stronger because you character does a dash instead of a roll, letting them move faster than most other units You should also try to hit the blue or gold bars when you weapon overheats, blue cools your weapon immediately and golf gives you infinite ammo for a short amount of time Great video though, this game crazy good, it’s jus such a shame that it was abandoned for battlefield 2042 of all things

DICE put themselves in a win win situation. They're bringing back the old Battlefronts for nostalgia. It will have appeal, but people will eventually want the incredible graphics of BF2. I remember buying the ultimate edition for 10euro lol. Gonna have to download it again. There's a metroidvania coming up called Crowsworn.... that's the only game I'm buying this year.

I wanted to play battlefront 1 but no one was online in the morning last Sunday, so much dlc on there.

I remember playing this game back then every now and then and I really enjoyed that heroes v villains. And I have not watched 1 Star Wars movie except rogue one

to be fair, the bad reviews where right back then. Only because of the backlash they designed a system that is fun and rewarding to unlock things. In its original form it was outright predatory. But i get what you mean, i think bad reviews should raise an eyebrow, but in the end you can always see for yourself.

The NT-242 has a mod you can equip (called scope I think) which lets you zoom further by pressing the middle mouse button while zoomed. I think other rifles probably have it too Also you’ve got to find that dash key ‘cause it’s crucial in fights Also also Yoda isn’t very good in bf2 unfortunately

i play this game almost everyday its really amazing im a huge starwars lover and my favourite gameplay is with the clones i havent really played much with the snipers though but i play mostly with assault and heavy trooper allthough i agree this game is really beutiful and desrves alot more

BF2's initial reviews were completely justified. it was insanely pay to win and had the worst case of invasive microtransaction in history. It's what killed loot boxes
