For a droid? Yes. For a human? No. It'd just make the game unnecessarily gory. That, and human characters never got cut in half in Star Wars most the time, if a character got cut in half they'd more than likely stay in one piece (with the exceptions of Anakin, Luke, Windo, and Maul).
That one dude who posts stuff I agree with you but I want this game to at least include human hand dismemberment like in the movies. It would add some much needed Star Wars grit.
This game looked awesome, especially it going back to its roots and relating to the first Stars Wars Battlefront 2 (original). Can't wait to play- just looks more stunning and worth to buy!
Peake Performance learning? So far this looks like a reskin of the flop they released in 2015 with more gimmicks and promises attached. I don't think they learned much at all judging by the gameplay.
So far what we have seen, nothing has really changed. I'm not basing my entire view on this game on their current promises. So far from what they have shown, they haven't been learning.

Dennis (one of the devs of the game) wants it to be ingame (he said they are his favorite.) but he said it would be hard to make it because of it rolling and stuff like that. He did say he is going to try to get it ingame but it mostlikely will not be in by launch and will be added in Free DLC. Dennis also said if the players agree on a certain characters and planets/maps they want added they would try to add it in free DLC also. (he also stated we don't just focus on one era so the other eras isn't lacking.) He said all that and more in BattlefrontUpdates livestream.

yes they are. They scan most of the objects are in the game and meterials, textures etc are all taken from the real life. Wich is faster to implement and looks better. Only downfall is ofcourse you have to find those objects.They really work like disney for these games. Preperation takes longer than building.
Bloodburn actually no This game look a lot better then Battlefield 1, graphics wise due to the Frostbite engine being more upgraded and less destruction means they can add more to the detail in the game
Rey legit can't use a saber because she has no training. All she can do is stab and apparently that.. works? TBH if it was honestly anyone else I wouldn't have a problem with it. This is probably some Episode III battle, some last battle of Naboo or something, because Phase II troopers were never present on Naboo, and Maul would've been long dead.

YES, what? same with Darth Maul? YESS!!! Wait, why aren't there any droidekas? and why is Rey running around with Darth Maul? YOOO, that shotgun model that the droid used is similar design to the trandoshan one in republic commandos! :D As you can see I'm very conflicted.
rotary canon is better as an ability, it's similar to the original battlefront 2 where you had to unlock the rotary canon guy to use it in the first place.
FINALLY. I love the clone wars and since this is coming out I will get a copy. Only couple of weird things. 1st was when u were in a Nabooian fighter and started to shoot at a clone v-wing. Same team? 2nd is why is Rey there. The clone wars was way before she was born.
I agree that the old sound effects for the blaster rifles sound better? What we need in this new battlefront is: Old blaster sounds starwars music in the backround with option to raise or lower the volume and the armys blaster beams, launchers and rockets from vehicle's to be a bit brighter in color the originals beam lighting seemed to be a bit brighter. All of the heroes, maps and game modes from swb2(2004) I don't know guys maybe I'm picky but if you agree thumbs up!
Beluga Sir that was my only problem with Battlefront 1's system. I'm glad they went for the old class based system now so there isn't a max level jack ass running around with a jet back, bacta bombs, and a DL-44
DICE and EA have really outdone themselves listening to the community. No arcade style pickups, no Jumpy jets with bacta, no season pass, free DLC, THIS IS GONNA BE AMAZING
Beluga Sir Go hated Battlefronts system. The baca and Jetpack setup was what everyone uses and new players would get out beat every time with that shit.
Battlefront has always been like Battlefield. You pick a class, you shoot on foot, hop in a vehicle, hop in a fighter, hold capture points. It's always been like battlefield.
Am I the only one hoping they add EVERYBODY? Including the Naboo Security Force and the Gungans for examples? I wanna run around as Jar Jar just unorthodoxly throwing boomas everywhere
Actually, I could see those being added as map-based special classes. So if you were playing on Naboo, you could be playing as the usual Clone forces... but you could also choose some additional classes based on the map you're in!

Star War is actually fictional based off of World War 2. That's why a lot of the blasters are from world war 2, like the MG42, FG42, Lewis gun, C96 for Solos blaster. Just think about it, the Emperor and the Imperial army? That's Japan. And stormtroopers are Germans. And "a long time ago"
Why would the clone officers be in those unarmored uniforms? The officers would be aboard a ship, not in the midst of the battle. That class should've been called the captain/commander, with armored clones like cody, rex, etc.
Sometimes you have to be a little inaccurate when making a game. In addition to making them discernible from other classes, their look is most likely meant to reflect that their primary focus is support rather than direct combat.
But they're all clones...its literally just 1 guy....nobody will miss him, or him, or him, or himself, or him, or the other him, or his other him, or him.
Honestly this looks promising. but I'm a little sad they didn't go back to an ammo system like the original game. I mean a blaster runs out of charge eventually right? regardless I just hope it's better then the last one.
redl3tter yeah you're actually correct on that. In the cannon they even talk about how they need to reload and how they run out of ammo. It actually makes for some very good scenes in the old Star Wars shows
We all went to Naboo, 'cause Queen Amidala wanted to. Frankly, I would've liked to have stayed. We all fought in that epic war, and it wasn't long at all before little hotshot flew his plane and saved the day. In the end some Gungans died. Some ships blew up, some pilots fried. A lot of folks were croakin', the battle droids were broken. And the Jedi I admire most met up with Darth Maul and now he's toast. I'm still here and he's a ghost. I guess I'll train the boy.
Not worth my money. In original BF2 droidekas were awesome. But nah it would be too much work to make a class slightly different in therm of gameplay and balance it.
The only thing that can save this is if you can customize or unlock different resources rewards to give the game more variety like droidekas, magna gaurds, spider droids, etc. If this is it right here for the clone wars era its not looking good

So at 4:31 does this mean that bots are mixed into the fight too? If so I LOVE that. Can someone please confirm for me? I haven't seen that particular shot anywhere else so I'm not sure
