@Timboslice475 put it this way, Super Battle Droids are what SHOULD be representing the CIS Tier 1 Elite Unit instead of the Magnaguard lorewise. Almost like the droid version of the Rebel Wookiees.

this guy needs to make a full pack of clones in Phase I and II because the sounds and detail is great its such a waste to only have one map and one set of units so much potential for a great larger mod

The sound and visual effects are much cooler than the real game itself; such as the droid star fighter's laser cannons, the missiles from the LAAT and even more! Also Grevious riding the speeder bike was hysterical.
Karl Hiramanek I don't have a server up at all times, I just tend to set one up when I play online. When I do play though, as you could probably guess from my Community Series, I do play mod maps. The main issue with getting a large group of people playing on a modded server is that everyone needs that mod/map in order to join, hence the majority of stock map based servers.

jediking12 I thought that was a little weird too. Then I looked into the original EU material and it turns out Grievous was present on Geonosis in the old continuity so that would explain it.
+BattlefrontJDgamer Grievous was on Geonosis, but he was all underground, no one knew he existed at that point except for Delta Squad, and even they only saw his starfighter.
Ah yes, I remember this map but I have not played it recently and for old time sakes I just might! If I were to do a gameplay on this, I would have to record in sections so I do not have ridiculous file sizes to upload with! Yeah this one is a real classic and has a good replay value too. Haha you're probably right, the first match I recorded was over 40 minutes so I had to start again to trim it down a bit. Surprisingly I managed to shrink the file to around 800MB so it didn't take too long to upload in the end! Thanks for the support mate, I appreciate it. Keep up the good work on your videos too!

Hahaha that General Grievous' glitch it not from the map, but from Battlefront II itself. It also happens when you want to drive an AT-RT Walker. He walks over the walker haha
I love his maps, they're almost flawless, the only thing I think which would make it better to me is that the heros shouldn't count as unlockable special unit class, but as regular Heros, they're extremly overpowered in this mod, and I'm used to play without heros though I play them somtmes in GC or wave mods.
Agreed. The main reason that the heroes are set as units is most likely that it allows the map to make use of multiple Jedi and Sith characters as opposed to just one, which is useful in creating movie/TV accurate maps. But yeah for someone like you who doesn't use heroes it really could be a pain.
I wasn't aware that Venators had been deployed on Geonosis, let alone under production at that time. But that isn't to say I disapprove entirely; this map is a drastic improvement over BOTH originals! :D

Very nice Channel, I love to see that the Star Wars Battlefront community isn't dead yet after so many years :) I downloaded this map but I am having some problems with it: - Sometimes my game just closes without any error message - All units are very strong, you only need 2 hits to kill a enemy, even vehicles are destroyed pretty fast with a normal rifle Is it normal like this? Or do I need some specific patch? I installed this unofficial 1.3 Patch or is there no patch needed to play maps with new weapons / vehicles?
"Begun the clone wars has" - master yoda. Amazing map! Lost of new republic skins, and weapons! Map layout is good, Most ai are active, and units to fill the map. There is a lack of new CIS skins. Also were the weapons damaged increased or did the health get nerfed? Also there were not venators on geonosis(but making a acclamator have a hanger would be hard.) XD on grievous speeder bike. Another great mod video!

The weapons have had their damage greatly increased, hence why everything is a lot more realistic and you die after taking two shots. Grievous on the speeder bike has to be the most funny glitch I've encountered in Battlefront 2 so far XD Thanks for watching man :)
Ah yeah, I remember the one! I've still got that game for GameCube somewhere, might have to crack it out and play it again. It was made by Pandemic just like the Battlefront series if I remember rightly. Pretty darn awesome.
I have that game for XBOX, and Jedi Starfighter. Ya know, it would be neat if someone made a space mod for the battle above Geonosis with Cavik Toth and his beast Sabaoth fleet and Hex Deployers against the republic fleet. THAT I WOULD PAY TO SEE!!! XDXDXD
+Karl Heramanek Yeah I wish more people used mods in online play. I've tried to open up servers and have successfully (usually using maps utilizing the Dark Time II mod), thing is my internet connection is complete shit so no one was able to connect.
Do you think when they release star wars battlefront 3, alot of people wont be on because they were banned for using a modded console? Because the same thing happened in destiney.
Not my favorite map, but certainly a faithful recreation. I think there's too much dust though, and the map's too open (of course it's supposed to be). Also, there weren't any Venators at Geonosis, only Acclamators, but that's just a minor flaw.
I agree. I'm not particularly fond of Geonosis maps just due to the sheer number of them out there but this one does stand out for obvious reasons. The dust is one problem I have with this map, it really does impair the player's view distance but that's accurate to the movie and that does add to the overall atmosphere. As for the Venators, that's a good point and one continuity mistake here. Looking past that error this is, in my eyes, the definitive representation of the Battle of Geonosis in Star Wars Battlefront II.
BattlefrontJDgamer Another nice Geonosis map is Geonosis: Battlefield. (which I somehow lost the sound lvl file of, so I can only play it without any sound lol) I don't know if there's an active download link of it somewhere , but you should probably try it. [That Grievous animation error is caused by not having a proper animation set for sitting in vehicles (since normally heroes can't get into them), don't pay attention, just the modder speaking from me]

Incoming nitpick. Clone Sergeants are green, Clone Lieutenants are blue, Clone Captains are red, and Clone Commanders are Yellow. Arc troopers are different. Even if they are a different class, they still are all white. I'm assuming this battle was the first battle of Geonosis. Clones at that time had no diversity, no classes, no armor mods and basic weaponry. Still good mod tho. 10/10
Does anyone know which mod it is to get flamethrower clone troopers and clones that hold a mini gun style weapon? I remember seeing it on Geonosis long ago
Yes, on this video I added in the music. It's my way of individualizing my videos to make them different from others out there. I only do it when I feel different tracks would be more appropriate than the actual in-game tracks. Sorry for any confusion.
