After quite a bit of silence on the Star Wars action figure front for more than a few months, Triple Force Friday hits and we get to buy toys again! And from three different sources. Let's take a look at the Hasbro Black Series Cal Kestis and Second Sister Inquisitor from Jedi: Fallen Order, the Mandalorian and Offworld Jawa, and then Rey, Kylo Ren, and a First Order Stormtrooper from Rise of Skywalker!

5:33 I am a cosplayer with a near-screen-accurate Kylo Ren cosplay and I can confirm that it takes about 20 minutes to get into that suit (and that’s with someone helping you). However, my personal cosplay is based on his Force Awakens appearance, so the time to get into this suit might be different haha

Blanket Gaming Studio’s yep that’s definitely a huge pain. Luckily I don’t have to take the entire thing off to go to the bathroom, but it still takes like 10 minutes to get stuff off before I can go lol

Cals lightsaber seems to be a double bladed lightsaber because at the bottom you can see it's broken and showing some wires. Edit: I called it XD.

in regards to the First Order Stormtrooper they changed the shape of the helmet slightly in The Last Jedi, look at the mouth part of the helmets.

Ysanne Isard is the officer you're thinking of. The Mandalorian has some really subtle butterfly joints too. Rey's staff coming apart is new, and you can plug her lightsaber blade into it. I wonder what that could mean...

Edster III pretty much everything sold out at all my locations, went to 6 different Walmart’s, 5 targets, 6 GameStop’s. I was lucky with what I got thanks to my wife due to myself working. I haven’t been able to find a sith trooper, mandalorian, or a Kylo Ren in person what so ever. Same with the Walmart jet trooper. Just sold out. By Saturday evening, nobody at anything besides those lightsabers and a couple pops.

For the Jawa eye color, the extended universe explanation is that they use crystals as goggles, so the offworld Jawas must have used a different colored crystal, possibly one more common on Navarro

Rey’s staff comes apart so that you can slide off the strap. That way if you want to pose her fighting with the staff the strap doesn’t get in the way and it’ll look more natural.

This may be a minor *SPOILER* for the rise of sky walker but the lightsaber blade does plug into the staff. Possibly hinting at Rey getting a staff lightsaber or a double blades saber

I’m really loving the mandalorian figure. For years Boba Fett was the benchmark on how we thought a mandalorian should look, til jango and the clone wars mandos came along. Then we realized just how kit-bashed and nomadic Boba was. Then with this guy, they’re going even farther with that hodge-lodge look. I’m still hoping he actually turns out to be Boba, post sarlacc, having lost his original armor and everything else, climbing his way back to the top.

Man! I'm probably the only one but I really hope they release an unmasked version of Second Sister! She just looks really cool to me. Hasbro once again knocking it out with a mandalorian armoured Black series figure. Boba, Jango, Sabine and the mandalorian are all awesome figures to me. I would absolutely love to get a Black series 6” Pre Viszla one day, as well as a savage oppress and Asajj Ventress.

Love the mandalorian and hopefully I'll find him one day. On another note Robo, Ijust found out that the mega action series transformers line has been canned due to licensing issues. I don't know if you knew but I'm pretty bummed about not getting that soundwave. :(

The mandalorian's rifle is an ion disrupter (as seen on Star Wars Rebels) that disables electronics, but it also disintegrates living things instantly. The fork on the front releases a high powered shock at close range.

Cal Kesti's hair should be a little more red to match the character design better, but as is the head looks like it could easily be used for a Jacen Solo Custom (and the body without the vest overlay could work for a Starkiller base body, man we really need an official Starkiller Black Series Figure).

The only thing I don't like about Cal is the right arm elbow joint (which is bare), is the color of the shirt with skin colored paint. They should have just molded it the same color as the rest of the lower arm.

hey Robo, The D-0 that came with the droid 3 pack on force Friday with R2D2 and BB8, had a flat spot on the wheel. as far as I can tell it is the same figure, so there may be a flat spot on the wheel to match up to the stand it came with.

I managed to score the first edition Mandalorian last Weds when Walmart had them kits. It refused to ring up but thankfully the cashier DGAF and rang me up for $18.95. Since then I picked up 2nd Sister and Cal. These are some great looking figures.

Robo, the FO Stormtrooper helmet is slightly different from the original one. Compare the width of the "nose" black line. The design of the helmet was changed in Episode 8 compared to Episode 7 and this figure represents the later design with narrower nose line.

I had the hardest time changing Rey from her shooting hand to her lightsaber hand. The shooting hand just didn't want to come off. I eventually resorted to using pliers!

I have First Edition Sith trooper and I just ordered the Off World Jawa; should be here Wednesday. So pumped for that one. I fell like Off World Jawa is the sleeper hit of this wave. Something about Off World Jawa I'm drawn to it. The Wedge Hasbro showed off is A New Hope not Empire. That Dio reference though. Lol

Marvel Legends' facesculpts have gone from sweaty looking to tired looking. They hit their mark with the Black Panther faces, but these are... Off. I'm in love with the Mandalorian Carbonized edition. Currently sewing a fabric cape for it.
