Yeah Jango’s story of how he became the clone template in Canon is really lame, and 10 times less cool than what you do in this game, I want Jango back as a Mando, apparently him being born on Concord Dawn is still Canon, so I hope they retcon him back into the mandalorian ways, I mean hell I’d be able to call the clone troopers Mandos again if that was the case

Jango is or at least should be a Mandalorian. If it wasn’t for the fett’s. Mandalorian’s wouldn’t exist. At least he’ll always be one in legends.

Actually technically in new Canon its debatable if he was never a mandalorian. He claims to have been born on a mandalorian ruled planet, and was only denounced after gaining fame as a hunter. By this logic Din is just as much not a mandalorian as he is from a similar extremist group. I'll take Jango for his word, he is a mandalorian

Fun fact, in Attack of the Clones you can see Mandalorian text on the Slave One's computer screens, likely meaning that George definitely intended for Jango and Boba to be mandos and then, for whatever reason, changed his mind years later. And the best part is this is canon evidence that they are indeed mandos.

When I was a kid, I used to wrap the non threat NPCs in the second level and put them in a pit by the bridge heading to a bar(?). That one alien you follow before he betrayed you, I put him in my pit and when I visit him, he keeps saying “follow me,” even after the trap. Also, Was coincidentally watching Zanny’s gameplay on Star Wars Bounty Hunter hours ago before Bombastic uploaded this one.

I have so many fond memories of playing this game as a kid with my dad and brother. I used to love the jet pack mounted missiles; I would hurl them at large groups of enemies and laugh as they went flying because they looked so ridiculous. I also loved the sound effects as you collected items. My favorite sound was the one you hear when you collect the secret feather icons (which, oddly enough, I used to think were ears of corn XD).

Such an amazing game that was so far ahead of its time and so well done, with so much thought put into it...and so many moments that 10 years later i remember despite only renting it for 2 weeks and being a child that sucked at games........... Id love to get a less clunky and ridiculously hard remastered version. But this and Halo were some of the earliest shooter games to actually work well and have a long story with a ton of options on how to play.

In canon, despite not being stated to be from Mandalor or its moons, Jango is confirmed to at least be a foundling. Therefore he (is) Mandalorian. This is the way.

The recent episode of Mandalorian more or less confirmed Jango Fett Open Seasons as at least somewhat canon. Even Boba’s code in his armor translated mentions Jaster Mareel.

It’s been retconned and yes now Jango is a Mandalorian and Boba himself said he fought in the Mandalorian civil war, calling back to the legends comics . It’s all canon now

I actually enjoyed the repeated square mashing back in the day. Really made me feel like I was pew-pewing forreal. What bothered me was the level design...I couldn't tell what I was supposed to do / where I was supposed to go half of the time.
