Fun fact that you probably didn't know: Slug throwers in the Star Wars universe were actually very efficient against lightsaber opponents as the actual bullet wouldn't get deflected from the blade instead it would get heated to be slag flying at a very high speed and once that happened the lighsaber wielder would have to be very fast in order to get away from either a very very bad would or death, in fact the Mandalorians were known to be very good Jedi killers especially during their wars against the order many centuries before the battle of Yavin that's why you see Mandalorian's using flamethrowers and other such weapons against the Jedi
Jedi with guns would be in the middle of a battle and whip out their gun ready to fire but then be like “this is where the gun begins” *click* (gun not firing) “oh hold on hold on I gotta take the safety off” *click* “Alright now this is where the gun begins”
