Awesome collection! I’ve been a fan of Star Wars since seeing the original in the theater in 1977. Showing my age. 😂 I still have all my original Kenner Star Wars figures and vehicles/sets when I was a kid, plus some others from the 90’s. Thanks for the room tour and giving us a peek at your collection. 👊🏼
Thanks so much and that’s awesome! The Kenner figures literally put figures/collecting on the map. I like the POTF2 line from the 90s as well. A lot of them hold up so well today still and it was so cool to see new Star Wars toys on store shelves back then.
Very cool room! Just for fun, and totally not star wars related, I thought a Deadpool figure hanging out in your cantina would be funny 😄. Congrats on that awesome display. Bad news is ......"there is another " (figure that is) 🤔
Awesome collection and display! I think it’s great you and your wife do it together! It’s my dream to have a collector room someday- I run out of space quickly lol
Thanks so much! Her and I share so much and our connection makes this room so much more meaningful! Yeah, the space issue is the inevitable prob with all collecting. I’m working on moving some stuff around currently, but it’s a fun challenge!
Great video and fun to watch.. I collect and have alot of the same things all the way back to some of my originals from 77.. I plan on finishing the 96 some day too but been too busy with everything else... Thanks again!!
@@returnofthejoedi7699 No but maybe someday when I get it more organized...I thought of starting an insragram page but I'm afraid that will fuel me to spend even more money than I already do lol... I also collect the new g.i.joe and some Motu as i did back in early 80 s... :)
this is a epic collection. i am getting rid of my entire collection in 3 weeks. via on line auction. took me 10 days to get it ready. it is gonna be hard to part with it. i just did a vid of the toys. i never thought i would part with it. there will be 70s vintage on it. and also power of the force and other stuff. i got some red card backs also nib and 20 or so power of the force will be on it. and tons of power of the force ships mint out of box and all tested to make sure they work. as in the lights. sounds.
Did you say you live in Washington ,DC I'm a Star Wars collector and I live here in NW DC I just started collecting this year 2023 I wanted to collect for the last 40 years but too many other hobbies dominated my collecting. Im an original Star Wars movie fan I went to the first film in 1977. It was an amazing experience. Excellent room.
Superb! Kudos to you for all of your hard work, it paid off! May I ask what display case and lightening you used for the Black Series and funko pop shelves?
Thanks and no problem. Here are the shelves and the lights I use: Funko: InPlace Shelving 9084676 Slimline Floating Wall Shelf, 60 in W x 7.75 in D x 1.25 in H, Black a.co/d/2IM4nUk Black Series: Sauder Trestle 5 Shelf Bookcase, Jamocha Wood finish a.co/d/d1L2G6J Lights: HitLights LED Strip Lights, RGB LED Strips Kit, Flexible Color Changing SMD 5050 LED Accent Kit with RF Remote, UL-Listed Power Supply and Connectors (RGB - 4x1FT) a.co/d/3hoS4xK
Amazon. Here the link to them Star Wars- at-at Walker - The Battle of Hoth - Thomas Kinkade - Set of Four 4” x 4” Glass Coasters - Comes with Stylish Modern Wooden Coaster - for Gifting and Collecting a.co/d/eDWSpaF
I use the Niubee Acrylic Risers from Amazon. I use the small size for black series. NIUBEE Acrylic Riser Display Shelf, 2 Pack Clear Display Stand for Amiibo Funko POP Figures,4 Tier Cupcakes Stand Perfume Organizer and Storage (Small) a.co/d/91JfyrG
How did u hang up the sabers? And how did you put up the power of the force figures on the card? Can you tell me what the holders are called because I might buy them
Sabers are hung with these mop and broom wall holders. They work perfectly. 3-H Mop Broom Holder/Bathroom... www.amazon.com/dp/B07WFFBV4B?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and I use these mini command hooks for all the figures Command Small Decorating Clips,... www.amazon.com/dp/B000M3YGHS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Where did you get the stands for the black series figures? I have a few hard to stand figures and some that i just dont display because they wont stay in any standing position. Collection looks amazing btw!
So the key for any stand is these little sticky tacks (no they do not damage the figures) BUSOHA Clear Removable Sticky Adhesive Putty, Reusable Transparent Double-Sided Round Nano Gel Mat for Wall, Metal, Glass, Ceramic, Wood - 350 PCS a.co/d/5swDVYj lay them flat and use poses where the figures basically stand by themselves and the sticky tack will do the rest. These are the stand alone stands (the pegs are worthless, again use the tack), ProTech AFS-1C Clear Action Figure Stands for Modern, 1995 - Present, 3.75" Star Wars Figures, 2" Wide, 3/32" Peg, 100-Pack a.co/d/9VYYLmV and these are the risers (size small) NIUBEE 3 Tiers Acrylic Tier Riser Stand (Small, 2 Pack) a.co/d/968q0Hb
It’s actually from the Galaxy of Adventures figure line that came out before Rise of Skywalker. He’s def bigger and not in scale, but I think it works good enough for 3.75. Here’s the pack on Amazon, but maybe look around other places to see if you can find it cheaper STAR WARS Galaxy of Adventures R2-D2, BB-8, D-O Action Figure 3 Pack, 5" Scale Droid Toys with Fun Action Features, Kids Ages 4 & Up a.co/d/5snZPcw
@@returnofthejoedi7699 Okay thanks you!! You won’t happen to have the one that from the Rise of Skywalker Rey 6inch black series would you? And if so what one would goi recommend for my 3.75 collection? :) thanks

Great question lol. Short answer is I don’t. If I move something around to where it’s convenient enough to dust something I will, but for the most part I just let it ride. My wife has pretty severe asthma and she’s always fine down here and it doesn’t seem to affect her, so we’ve been okay keeping it going.
Cool room...I hate to be that guy (actually, no I don't) but it should be spelled Vancleves' Cantina if it belongs to both you and your wife (plural possessive). *Vancleve's* implies that it belongs to one person named Vancleve. Leaving out the apostrophe altogether would be better than "Vancleve's."
They only made a tvc, tvc carbonized, black series, black series credit collection, and retro. I have them all displayed which you can notice. They’re Cara Dune figures by the way, not the actress. I like Rey much better.
wow...just star wars and nothing else? its a shame disney is trying there best to run star wars into oblivion and toys are going for bargain bin prices because of it.....regardless this is a beautiful collection and one of the classiest iv seen i only own those overpriced mezco figures and iv started to appreciate the work that goes into adult collecting. sh*ts expensive even just buying shelves, detolfs and wall mounts are stressful lol
If they don’t know Shadows there is no excuse! That is ignorance not a fan. I know Rey! And I’m not pleased! But I spent the time as a fan to know her, and she sucks! Know Jaina Solo! Fake fans!
@@returnofthejoedi7699 that show is objectively horrible. Let’s keep it critical and not personal. I’m not here to troll anyone. ‘’Troll’’ is a weak excuse for not agreeing with an objective opinion. Play nice.
@@returnofthejoedi7699 I like the way you incorporate different lines into your displays. I like your passion for the property and most importantly I LOVE STAR WARS. I’m sorry you opposed to differing opinions. I thought bringing some traffic to your channel would help but I see you don’t get what’s going on. Take a breath and be easy. We all love Star Wars but critical analysis is detrimental for the survival of the series
