Star Wars Concert: Anakin vs Obi-Wan

Literally better fighting then all the new movies

Anakin vs Obi-Wan is my favorite duel in all of Star Wars. The choreography in here is flawless and really epic, and on top of that, you guys did it live! Really outstanding job!

Crazy how this fight was better then the lightsaber combat in the past 3-4 films 😭

The amount of times that I've re-watched this video is insane. These two gentleman are insanely talented and so is the entire musical ensemble!

Sad we haven’t seen this level of sword play in a star wars movie since that scene.

I've seen revenge of the sith so many times, I can tell this is an exact copy of that fight without comparing them. So cool how well they did it!

Plot Twist: This wasn’t even apart of the show. These guys were just fans who had massive beef with each other and decided to settle right then and there.

Some guy in the audience: “CHOP HIS LEGS OFF” Coming back to say that no one actually says this in the video, I meant it like “wouldn’t it be funny if someone said that” 😅

I like how the battle of coruscant in the background adds to the feel of brotherhood between the two. It was their last great mission together, before the end. Plus, the lights on the musicians in the background make them look like they’re wearing 501st armor😂

This is just perfection. The whole orchestra performing without a flaw. The parts of the movie playing in the background and the amazing performance by Obi/Annie fencers. They even did the spinny spin! Everything together it made an amazing spectacle.

Imagine that your work is to duel in front of an orchestra on a stage while you're star wars fan

The fact that they took cues from the actual fight in the film is pretty awesome

For a die-hard Stars Wars fan like me, it is so cool to watch anakin and obi-wan Duel with a live orchestra playing in the background. It makes me love and appreciate orchestra music even more

If I were one of the musicians, I'd constantly be having trouble focusing on what I'm supposed to play instead of looking at that awesome duel. Props to the entire orchestra for performing such epic music and still being able to keep their focus

Y’all ever just have a duel in the middle of the talent show

I love how it’s the exact choreography as in the movie, including some parts that are from behind the scenes footage. This is beyond incredible

Imagine watching the whole movie with an orchestra live that would be so magical

When a damn orchestra has better saber fights than the entire sequel trilogy.

What I find most impressive is that the actors on stage have to do this entire fight in a single take, unlike the movie

What’s really impressed me more is that these musicians didn’t get distracted from playing.

I love the actors here perfectly mimic their characters fighting styles and mannerisms. They did their homework

The Conductor should be wearing Palpatines Robes, what a missed opportunity

I’m so glad I wasn’t there - the urge to whoop and react to the fighters would be too overwhelming and I’d ruin the moment! No special effects and yet just as gripping as in the movie!! Bloody well done

from the very beginning, the lore was that Obi-Wan had put Vader in that life support suit he had to wear, so when (after so many years and decades of waiting) that scene finally happened, I hoped so much that it would be the most epic duel. and they didn't disappoint! this is a great recreation of that duel faithfully done!

I like to think these guys weren't even part of the performance but just happened to be at the right place at the right time

I like to pretend this wasn't choreographed, just two orchestra members having a disagreement

I won this fight, Obi Wan couldn't find his beloved highground.

Big kudos to the dedication and resolve it takes to reconstruct more or less that entire fight beat-for-beat, with one of Williams' most heartwrenching tunes. Great stuff.

Was expecting the fight to be cheesy as all hell, but damn it was epic!

This just showes that no matter how you see their duel or no matter the background it will still the most epic thing to exist

That takes so many hours of practice to duel like that. And the fact it's the exact same as the original duel. That was just great

The talent it must have taken to master this duel coreography is freaking impressive. Well done. This is definitely the best Star Wars duel.

That opening fight scene is something that will stay with me forever. The way that Darth Vader nonchalantly blocks Obi-Wan's attack by placing his wielded hand behind his back, blocks, and the fight naturally flows forward ending with Vader kicking Obi-Wan, it was just magic. Hands down, it's still my favorite fight scene ever done. It was beautiful and perfect, flawless, amazing, and a part of cinema history, as one of the most brilliant fight scenes.

When Anakin got his lightsaber kicked off him I was saying in my mind FORCE PULL IT I completely forgot this is real life

wow! what an amazing and powerful performance by everyone involved! so much credit should go to the two men who gave those who watchted this performance in person, a once in a lifetime chance to witness what it was like to see a recreation of the most emotional scene in the revenge of the sith movie! anakin and obi wan were once friends ,but now, they have to face eachother to fight for the causes they believed in. this battle showed how far they were willling to go, to fight for that cause to almost the bitter end , when anakin becomes darth vader. i cant imagine how hard it must had been for ewan and hayden to do this. these two men did an amazing job in not only recreating that scene to the best they could given the time needed to do this outstanding performance, but also to look alot like ewan and hayden kudos goes also to the amazing people who performed the music they deserve so much credit for keeping up with what was happening in the battle to the best they can, and big kudos goes to all who make this possible ps i would love to know who were the performers who did the battle scene

Anakin vs Obi won easily the longest lightsaber duel in the history of Star Wars.

Imagine if they got the real actors: Anakin (Hayden Christensen) - obi wan kenobi (Ewan mcgregor) to be there that would be so cool

Plot Twist: *Those were actually real life lightsabers and everybody's life was indanger*

This is awesome in so many ways. It must have taken months to master the choreography. So many hours. Now that is dedication. It paid off. It was perfection.
