that's so great to hear thank you for your comment I do love recreating Star Wars and of course creating new Star Wars, it's a wonderful sand pit to play in!
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought you'd used leather. Really impressed with the foam work and this definitely does not look like a first cosplay attempt. Great work, James! 😁
Love the teabag technique! Classic primary school arts and crafts for weathering letters. I used the same technique to age dolls for a horror style music video. Bag looks amazing too!
So great! Your production value is perfect. Very slick but very approachable really good detail and information and fun storytelling too! Thanks for all your efforts in creating such wonderful content for us 👍🏼😊😊😊
I absolutely love how that turned out! Your utilization of all those techniques really paid off. I um, noticed that there were no Empire emblems. I feel like we need to have a talk. LOL. Keep up the great work man!!
Dude that was the best episode to date. The bag is brilliant! I have to admit that the tea bags really made the man purse (lol) look awesome and weathered. Extra tech is always a must. The eye glitch at the end was classic and had me laughing out loud. Thanks for the great episode!
Dude, so pleased you like it dude, will drill down on dm's as to why you think it's the best yet lol.. you see trust in the Tea bags.. and that reaction to the Mrs was all real man....
Just got directed here from The Smugglers Room video. Great job on this build and good luck on completing your room, can't wait to watch it come together. Keep producing the great content and continued success. Cheers!
Oh man, that "Leather" making method is way easier than the method I'd been doing for years now. I kind of feel like a dope. I was using a heat gun on the foam, then using a ball of foil to mash in the imprints, and repeating. This seems way freakin' easier. Thanks for the tip, great build!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to comment 👊 Yeah I'd seen a few different ways of doing it but didn't see anyone just Iron it on so I had a go and it worked! 👊🙏
The Rebel Base Build | JC3D | Props | Cosplay I did a “Cable” from X-Men cosplay. So many straps and pouches made from “leather”. When I re-do it eventually, now I have a new method! Cheers.
Awesome video, I now have the 'bag' and hopefully some time over Christmas to make a start on a similar, but different, take. Thank you for the inspiration and keep the video's coming. (now off to steal all the tea bags in the house) ;)
That's awesome! Cant wait to see what you come up with! More videos definitely on the way , day job and Covid logistics have impacted my spare time but 2 videos should be out over the next 2 weeks.. currently sitting in my editor and my workbench lol
Amazing build! Just checked out your channel and was blown away by the fact that you are/used to be Sith-J-Cull, you're JKA maps were the best out there, I always had so much fun playing them!
Aww wow thanks! Yup still here doing my Star Wars thing! Indeed I do miss the old JKA days.. I had a blast making that content, particularly the Episode III map-packs! Thanks for the view and comment.
That's brilliant buddy, you could use that if you ever get to go to galaxy's edge and do a Star Wars bound. Love that you added real life tech in with the charger and bluetooth speakers, given me something to think about making.
@@RebelBaseBuilds welcome dude and look forward to seeing what you put together for your outfit...also check out a couple called Always Believe they have a style guild for bounding ar Galaxy's Edge.
Created a Facebook page to sell my 3D prints called it JC3D only to find like 4 other pages with the same name also found your YT channel loving the work bro
Thanks! Of those are small Bluetooth speakers, if you watch the last scene you will see a little chat about those, I just added some greebles from a Hard Drive and weathered them 😀
Great video of a gun build! I bought one of those bags in Australia 20 years ago, but haven't found one just like it since. Could you share the Amazon link?
How long are those fabric poppers to fit through the foam and what thickness of craft foam are you using? Thanks for a great video! Going to use some of these techniques for Galaxy's Edge costumes for my girlfriend and me!
Quick question. First off thanks you inspired me to make one for my visit to BATUU. I’m not using foam but plastic greebles from a model.kit. You used Cement glue for the foam. What glue do you recommend for me to use. I bought the same backpack. Thanks again!
@@RebelBaseBuilds Thanks you!!! I watch all your videos and just blown away from all of it. I would love to send you a pic of my backpack when it’s finished. Do you have an email address I could send it to?
This is an awesome build! I’m actually going to an antique mall today and I’m going to keep an eye out for a bag of my own for my mandalorian & for when I go to Disney’s Galaxy’s edge with my dad :D What are those cylinders from at 10:54? Those look awesome!
Thank you! Was a very fun build, those cylinders, if you watch to the end I chat about them a little more, they are blue tooth speakers.. if you watch right to the end you can see how the Tea bag raiding got me into trouble lol...
I kinda want to do something like this with an old bag I have however the bag does have some sentimental value to it, any ideas on how I could make removable/ temporary greeblies ? I was thinking of using pins but I'm not to sure how I would go about doing it
Hey thanks, and thanks for watching, for sure, the fabric poppers I used in this video could work however you would be better off with a loose weave fabric so there's space for the poppers to connect.. 🙂
Hey, that is just good old contact cement it works perfectly with fabric and foam I use a product called Thixofix from Tyges Supplies, there's a link in the description 👊
Hey thanks for watching and form your question, if you check out the index you can see at 8:55 you will be able to watch the attach greebles part. I used both fabric poppers and contact cement 👊
I mean not for nothing buddy but I'm going to put the time in the effort in go down to your local thrift store and buy an old leather belt mean my used phone it's just silly
Hi man! I rlly liked your video. I want to build a lego storage crait like you! I am trying to do YT to! If you want, you can check my videos! This is the way bro!
