as great of a description as that is, it makes it seem like Revan was the first person in the galaxy to try to even formulate a strategy, though we never really get a sense of how militarized the republic was, or how much they stagnated.

Revan seemed the most human out of all the legends in the Old Republic era; not purely light or dark, but trying to make his own way in a galaxy he understood better than most but could not understand as much as he needed to. Wanting to do his best but being unable to do as much as he thought he had to.

I have a feeling this was what The Last Jedi was trying to turn the story toward but butt hurt cowards wanted the old story told again and again. I was excited about what the story was going to progress toward after The Last Jedi and how they were going to embrace TRUE balance just like above said. Nah, Revan aint no Sith even with Darth title. He is basicaly the FIRST Grey Force user existing. He conquered Darkness and saw through the light. Even after Nihilus basicaly destroyed everything force user safe himself and some others, they still without knowledge knew about who revan is and how powerfull he was. Shure he wanted his fair share in SWTOR , but we all know that was just for awesome and fan service, i cant consider this game and its story's canon at all.

Exactly. The reason love destroyed Anakin was because he had to keep it secret, so when he was fearful he had no one to turn to except Palpatine. This is why I love Jolee, he brings up such excellent points throughout the game.

I don't think it's love that turns you to the dark side - it's infatuation and attachment, which, funnily enough, can be unhealthy if abused. The Jedi just confused it with love because they were so out of touch with human emotion

@@almoores8309 But it you love someone, you have to be attached to this person. Therefore, indirectly the Jedi had understood it. If you can't love... then you don't get attached to someone (attached in the sense of relationship). Which means that you can't do bullshit. Because in fact why did Anakin became a Sith Lord ? First since he was ready to do anything to save the one he loved. And this, that is to say this proportion to sacrifice everything and putting everyone into danger, that is what led him to the Dark Side.

He was so obsessed with Padmé and so fearful of losing her that he was ready to sacrifice everything, even the Jedi Order itself, to save her. *That* is what turned him to the Dark Side. Not the pure, innocent love from AOTC

That’s awsome! My wife and I named our son Revan. Luckily my wife loves the name. Plus I got her hooked on KOTOR when we started dating. Damn, I played this in the final battle for KOTOR with my canonical Revan (Star forge robes, duelling, purple saber) and every song cue worked out flawlessly. The Clash of Destiny played on the last pair of Dark Jedi, and the love theme played perfectly at the end at (spoilers: starforges destruction)

I love this music. To me, my star wars hero isn't anakin, nor is it obi wan or Luke. It's Revan. The only sith to play the middle ground between light and dark, the only sith to turn the sith into somthing that will not destroy the universe. Darth Revan and his multilayered complex plans that have countermessures apaun countermessures for if somthing goes wrong and needs correction to the proper path. Darth Revan wasn't remembered much in his universe, but he will be remembered in ours and the only sith lord any of us would follow and with our loyalty we would be given long lives with him. Dont say you wouldn't follow this sith lord. If you do I say your lying.

Kotor speaks of Revan as the dark lord. TSL speaks of Revan as the pinnacle of the force and tactical Brilliance combined. Swtor speaks of Revan as Vitiates bitch. What's SWTOR developers fail to realise, is that perhaps, Revan never served Vitiate, not even as a trick, what if revan and malak escaped Dromund Kaas, realizing what the republic was up against they realized they needed to cull the weak from the republic in order for it to survive, to do so, Revan combined the teachings from Korriban with his compassion in order to bring about an age of stability, by removing the corrupt and troublesome and allowing the strong and goodwilled to flourish, what if revan never truly fell to the dark side as the Jedi council once said? What if he was never mind controlled the way Swtor painted him? What if it was just Revan doing what he does best? Playing Chess with the Galaxy itself!

Me: *gets the itch to play a SW game again* I could play Force Unleashed again. My favorite SW game of all time and haven't played in a while. **remembers KOTOR is on Switch and getting a PS5 remake** No. I'm finally going to see why Darth Revan has the reputation he does. I've heard about this character for so long and known he looks like Vader with a Mandalorian-esque mask, but nothing about who he is. I want to discover the legend of Darth Revan and why he has the following he does.

There's so many great characters from that era: Darth Nihilus, Darth Revan, Darth Traya, Naga Sadow, Marko Ragnos, Darth Malak, Sateele Shan, Darth Malgus, the Exile and the list goes on and on. As you can tell the Old Republic is my favorite era in Star Wars!!
