Even if the short blade was in a "must be used" situation, Dooku's lightsaber had the blade length change function, which is yet another reason it is amongst my top 5 lightsaber designs. Great unboxing, looking forward to seeing more lightsabers...
Good eye, the “gold” on Mace’s saber is the same material on Palpatines. The difference is the amount of it, Mace’s only has a little bit because to much would have been co side red vanity. Palpatines is more for looks not fighting
You know, I heard once...that the Sith never really cared for lightsaber combat. They mostly engaged in saber duels to mock the Jedi. But, would instead make use of other Force techniques to conquer their foes. And also, that despite being a master of all seven forms of saber combat..Sidious rarely ever fought with his saber.
Depended on the sith. Darth Bane enjoyed saber combat in his youth and favored force powers in his later years, especially after he got his orbalisk armor that gave him a power boost.
Sir James if I'm not mistaken I think you have to take the emitter that holds the blade off and put it back on over the blade like the Mace Windu. Now the retention screw should be under the emitter if not the emitter what holds the blade when you take it off then put it back on 👍
@@SirJamesIGamerfuzion yeah it's been a min since I used my Sid. The emitter is the retention screw. Just unscrew the emitter and put the blade in first then emitter over the blade and screw it down. The blade should stay
@@SirJamesIGamerfuzion don't want to keep saying just trying to help. I did some research that Sid is 89sabers first run no retention screw. But if the emitter doesn't work as a retention screw then you'll have to make one but very nice. Keep getting sabers bud.

actually, count dookus lightsaber had a duel-phase function (similar to darth vaders) which allowed him to change the length of his blade at any given time so technically that length blade to 100% accurate
i dont know why but the pikachu font on both sabers caught me off guard. when you ignited dooko's saber tough i was in tears lughing that pikachu font is so funny
The Dooku saber design is bar-none my favorite thing about the prequels. Granted, it’s not a high bar, but still. I do wish Lee would have wielded it one-handed to showcase his fencing prowess, but the choreography was cool nonetheless.

I’ve heard plenty of bad things about 89sabers, mostly about recasting from other artists, but also about terrible customer service. Did customer service do well with the bad speaker?
Hi. Can you please suggest a manufacturer of lightsabers with the highest quality replicas? The price does not matter, the main thing is to have the best quality materials of the handle and electronics (speakers, etc.) with a proffiebord.

Hey I was wondering if it took along time to get those hilts I’ve heard a lot or negative reviews from them some saying that they didn’t get a hilt for up to two years!! Was there any setbacks from them? Thanks again great video
Its probably the battery i recently changed mine and it fixed it. My lightsaber was flickering and I got scared because i thought it was broken but it was actually the battery.
SirJames love your videos bro. I was wondering if you could recommend the best movie accurate Dooku hilt. I have the Galaxy's edge saber, but its way to big.
I'm a bit jealous because I'm finding it difficult to find any saber smith that has Count Dookus' lightsaber. Only place I could find is Korbanth, so I may have to go with them, which will be my first from them.
I might be going to Disney world in a 2 months but not before. I will try and contact you better if it is a definite. Obviously if I do we can definitely work something out. Always happy to help.
It's been well over a year and they've still not added any new to the line up. Unless you count the Ben solo and rey reforged, which were meant to be a limited time only release.
Hey James I was wondering if you do reviews on budget sabers I’ve been eyeing the pach store’s new leia lightsaber and it sounds very intriguing from the description and price I just wanted to see how it is in person. Thanks!
@@chris70854 it is a beautiful hilt. The only issues I have with it is the blade insertion depth is not very deep, which causes it to wobble, and the swing sensitivity is not very good. Other than that, a very nice saber for the price.
Sir james I think you should do more reviews on luke skywalker stuff and just want to tell you that blue ,green ,red ,purple ,yellow ,white and black are the only colours of lightsaber while cyan ,magenta , light blue ,pink and orange are not the colours of the star wars universe.......star wars jedi fallen order takes place in another star wars univers and that why you can collect different colours of kyber crystals in star wars jedi fallen order
