@@sdot6939 Not. Both he and Siddifool never figured out what Star Lord has figured out... "The only limit... is you..." Yoda tried to tell this to Luke, remember? When he failed to lift his X-Wing from the swamp? Star Lord embodied this wisdom... Not even 10 siddifools would've been the slightest match to SL.
What I loved about these games were the sense of scale. Star killer fights and defeats all the Jedi, each time becoming more powerful eventually pulling down entire starships. You feel so OP by the end. But when he faces Vader, he absolutely hits a wall. Just showing how powerful Vader is
@@bigred212 no in the second game the light side ending has him capturing Vader with the help of his friends. The dark side ending has starkiller killed by another dark side clone. So I guess you can say he becomes as powerful as Vader in the second game. Which makes sense because your powers have quite literally doubled from the first game
I'd be fine with that if the films were even slightly consistent with it, in the films he's like "look! I can throw a trash can at you! Have a fire extinguisher!"
@@manmoth4 it could probably be done today if someone wanted to remake it but that wasn’t really possible when they made the original movies and the newer ones don’t really focus on Vader or someone of that caliber
Because they want to make Lots of Money and this is much easier with blueprint movies that all Look the Same. Look at Marvel. Although the Numbers are decreasing, the Made billions Out the Same upcycled movie blueprint again and again.
@@fabianschmitz6587 It's a finite industry reaching an end. People will get sick of the new thing, and they'll have to come up with another new thing. Quick finite money, versus more slow but sustained income. _You'd be surprised how many would pick the former._
Talk about a badasss scene 💥 reminded me of how the Phoenix vaporized people in that xmen Phoenix movie. And Vader truly is strong but this dude should be stronger. Star Wars doesn't make sense at times.
@@facecampingbubba4656 bruh countr dooku was weak af i remember watching clone wars and anakin coukd literally outperform and outpower him but untill the vader appearance i bet vader wins now against him
@@ototurmanidze5578 you remember wrong lol, Dooku beat Anakin every single time in clone wars and one time in the temple Dooku let Anakin win because Palptine told him to, then Dooku got mad and used lightning
@@Czmdk9384d actually if you watch the clone wars at the end of the war Anakin was more then capable of defeating Dooku alone.. Just watch the part where Dooku kidnaps Palpatine on Naboo and Anakin almost defeats him.. that was literally the fight were Sidious realized that Anakin is ready to be his new apprentice (and no, Dooku did not hold back, he needed to kidnap Palpatine)
I find it funny how Starkiller is an angsty late 2000's edge lord made for a pretty specific audience, but the story around him and character growth make him into something pretty unique by the end. Also watching him be OP as he is, and then still not phase Vader no matter how hard he tries, is super cool Edit: The force unleashed understood that Vader is an untouchable badass who doesn’t have to try to win in 95% of scenarios. Looking at you Cere smh 😂
@@Elthenar KOTOR, 2, SWTOR (including Shadow of Revan, Rise of the Hutt Cartel, Knights of the Fallen Empire etc.), TFU 1&2, literally the entire Jedi Knight series, even super Bombad Racers was better than the Disney Trilogy. And if we're talking outside of Star Wars, games like NieR Automata, Replicant, HZD and GoW (2018) among many others have better stories than most movies in general, period. We can also look at the older EU comics and even something like Dark Empire had a better story than the Disney Trilogy
@@fahrezasatria3587 no it's not?? Endgame is *the* highest grossing film of *all time* currently. you clearly have access to the internet, google it my guy
Man, I love the way Starkiller fights. It really hits on the fact that he’s a trained killing machine. No flashy waste of energy, no hesitation, no thrill of the fight, just pure efficiency. It really puts into perspective how terrifying lightsabers really are.
And considering how durable Vader is, and what Force user can do at the raw power alone, it's very fitting that Lightsabers are their default weapon to accompany their feats.
My favorite force power kkkkk. Feels so satisfying to get rid of helpless living scum.... Too bad Vader himself never showed such a feat, it is just his way of doing things.
@@pekenu123vader taught starkiller that and anakin actually used that once it's called force scream Anakin once got so mad he scream dookus name and made the building they where in collapse
I like how now everybody agrees that literally nobody outside a select few can even *MATCH* Vader. I personally feel Starkiller is one of those few who even can give Vader so much as a challenge.
That's actually completely false. The whole point of Star Wars is to show that the decisions Anakin made turned him into a complete shell of himself. He has to live with the decisions he made that caused him to never even come close to his potential. That's why he never betrays Palpatine because he knows he can't win. George Lucas even said himself that Vader in New Hope has a power level of 4/10. Compared to Ben whom he said was a 6-7 and Palpatine was a 9. Was Vader insanely strong in the force? Absolutely. But he could've been way stronger had he not lost all the midichlorians he did from losing all of his limbs. Although very intimidating, Vader was not all that powerful, his movement and agility were greatly restricted. Plus he was always conflicted so that took a part in it too, hence to why Luke beat him in ROTJ after only training for over a year. Vader just didn't have much competition after Order 66. Really the only thing that made him so powerful was his self hatred.
@@IDKWHATTOCALLTHISCHANNELANYMOR I liked rogue one to be honest but episodes 7-9 were shit in terms of keeping in with canon and what Star Wars was all about in the first 6 episodes. They ruined so much to appeal to the masses and just threw out most of what Lucas created, take what they did to Luke for example.
it really shows you how powerful vader is when you see starkiller disintegrating armies of stormtroopers and slamming vader through walls with the force, and vader just tanks both like it’s nothing
@@galvanize6724 He voices a crap ton of sith. Here, he voices Starkiller and is in fact the MODEL for him, and in the clone wars he voices Maul and the Son. Not to mention Palpatine in the game I think, although I'm not too certain on that last part. Dude is a sith legend
@@alanbeckett5578 Yeah, he did Palpatine for the game, and was the original voice for Palps in the Clone Wars. However, they have sinced redubbed Palps with Ian.
@@nicoperez9984 sHoW JuSt sTaRtEd bRo rElAx🥴🥴🥴 The show is already boring lol 2 episodes left and Obi still hiding away like a bch and wont face Vader?! This whole Disney Star Wars crap is a joke and YOU RELAX
@@venomforhonor I honestly think the story and the game itself is way better than fallen order because of how much more powerful starkiller is compared to cal and I just think the game force unleashed is just funnier to play
I’ll never forget the first time I saw that trailer for the force unleashed where you see a star destroyer all the sudden start dropping out of the sky and then realize starkiller is FORCE PULLING THAT SHIT down to the ground. And then it comes to rest right in front of him allowing you to see the scale of how big that ship is. So epic.
Sam Witwer has literally been in so many movies and games it’s actually unbelievable. My first time seeing him was in days gone then I remember watching the mist and I saw a character named private jessup and I thought it was just a lookalike but it was actually him. Then he’s done tons of voice acting
@@oof8911 that's not true. That's the Dark side ending of the 1st game which was NOT canon. Only the light side endings were canon. Now none of its canon, but at the time only light side endings were canon
During his mission to Kashyyyk during the Great Jedi Purge, Darth Vader's secret apprentice, Galen Marek, codenamed Starkiller, wore the Sith Stalker Armor while experiencing a Force vision in which he killed a Jedi Knight.
Force Unleashed Vader is underrated. Not just in power, but in general personality and demeanor. He is controlled, and manipulative, both of which are fairly rare to see.
Sam Witwer not only makes Starkiller look like a total badass, his performance also makes the character believable. The grief and anger of an adolescent, gifted with force and combat abilities few will ever master to this degree. Yet he feels helpless and alone, a mere pawn. The voice acting and music, the raw, completely over the top power. I don't care that it's not canon. This is a master piece that will forever be a part of my childhood and canon to me and many others
@@phantomblade9167 no it isn't canon to anything now. The new game, Fallen Order is and it's sequel but not Force unleashed. Some of the books they used to claim as canon aren't anymore either.
Days Gone has a few problems, it's had great patches since release, but the thing that shines in that game is Sam's performance as the main character. He does a great job of making you feel his emotion. He's really great at it
@@GabrielUngacta he IS what anakin would have became at full potential probably better even George Lucas said he's to powerful to bring to the movies dude was tossing Vader around like he was a simple rag doll when he got pissed off and was done with his shi lol he literally overpowered the emperor in everything but force lightning and he's still young af a fully experienced well age starkiller would be unstoppable
@@leprovokateur7745 quick thing: Disney's not doing shit. Mandalorian's not from Disney. They just have the rights, that's it. The whole production's from another company that nothing has to do with Disney.
Yeah, Galen and Juno's daughter. Which would have a been a way more believable story having them leave her on that scrap planet. I mean, if that would have been the way to go if the story was about watching Rey seeing her parents leave.
@@dreliq981 I mean, she held a ship from leaving, and had force lightning. Plus she was still discovering her powers and seeing how strong she really was
Gone is this type of atmosphere in Star Wars. Rogue One captured this level of intensity in Lord Vader's debut towards the end of the movie, but the sequel trilogy lacked any substance even close to this.
I’m sorry but that would be imposible because she’s a strong independent wahmen that can somehow not die from getting sliced with a lightsaber due to plot armor
@@bridgerglazner549 creators didn't say anything of the like. Witwer said so and he's just a voice actor. Vader holding back goes against all logic. Starkiller was one of the biggest threats to the empire at the time, why in the hell would Vader hold back?
@@rogueascendant6611 everytime I watch the force being used in the sequels I just play the “that’s not how the force works!” Line as quoted by Harrison Ford aka Han Solo in my head
Playing through Jedi survivor on grandmaster difficulty, dual wield against all reasons, maxed out force abilities against all reasons, and savouring every minute of the grind. This is the way.
Yes, because they’re literally the deadliest army in the galaxy… like, they’re trained pretty rigorously. People seriously underestimate storm troopers lol
@@TheSCPStudio in the books yes, but they make me furious in the movies. Their performance it’s total dog shit in the movies and in the games. Plot armor is abismal.
Yeah stormtroopers don’t have bad aim. Literally they are deadly to everyone in the galaxy, but not to characters with plot armour. It’s always the plot armour that gets to the stormtroopers
"How about a movie about Starkiller?" Disney: "Hm, nahhh, let's kill of some classic main characters, turn the former trilogy's hero (Luke) into a flop, copy-paste used battles...oh and bring a vaporized Sith Emperor back and connect a Mary Sue as his granddaughter."
Mary Sue ass Luke & Leia. One outflew the best pilot in the galaxy and his personally chosen wingmen. The other just had the audacity to show up as a rebel leading, Vader-defying, single hand rifle kill shooting badass Princess who's effort dealt the single biggest blow to the Empire. Or maybe the slave kid who thought spinning was "a neat trick" winning the first battle of a war. Silly ass Mary Sue Kenobi in The Phantom Menace just shows up with the skill and knowledge to defeat the first Sith in a 1000 years. Get out of here with that nonsense not everything is a threat to your masculinity. The sequel trilogy has glaring flaws how much skill someone is introduced with is not one of them. What did all those introduced with inherent skills have in common? They succeeded because they trusted in the force. They introduce Luke as barely wanting to join the IMPERIAL ACADEMY, implying his novice flying yet he lands a 1/1,000,000 shot whilst being chased by the "Best star pilot in the galaxy." Leia literally saves the death star plans finds the only man who can help the Rebels and then organizes the mission to destroy said Base outsmarting the likes of Tarkin, Vader and even the Emperor himself without us realizing it at the time. Obi-Wan a PADAWAN!!!!!! Does something his own master couldn't on two occasions. Yeah we know who he'll become but by the movie's opening he's already capable of most of it. Rey if anything shows the second most acquired growth in regards to her abilities after Ahsoka Tano. She literally keeps crashing into things whilst flying, she's only shown capable of fighting with her staff. She's captured effortlessly, her mind scrambled effortlessly, and only after a few exposures to the force is she able to get a grip of it not even doing it on the first try unlike a certain absolutely epic moment of a certain Red Squadron flying pilot, doing it after using the force for the first time... But sure Rey is the only "Mary Sue", what frickin series where you watching? 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@username-yc3bd not if they show him to be the Endgame for Mandalorian introduced as a first effort that Kenobi puts a stop too. Followed on by Gideon and retrieving the nearly burned helmet with the last of Vader's DNA and combing it with Midichlorian rich Grogu blood. Set into motion by Thrawn, and completed as his failsafe to guarantee his rule would continue. Starkiller bridges gap to sequel trilogy, defeated by Luke, at the cost of his own sanity, having to hunt down and kill a clone of his father ending with him being too reliant on the dark side to win.
Starkiller ain't better. Humorless, overpowered, forced romance, all the power of the Dark Side with none of the tribulations or drawbacks. At least there was tension when Rey fought someone. Starkiller just shows off until he goes "raaaaaaaaaargh" and disintegrates everybody.
@@rikudousennin4408 Wrong how? TFU was released on 2008. Ahsoka's first two lightsaber appearance in TCW is in 2010. Edit: Changed *double bladed* into *two.*
The only reason why I’m commenting right now is because we’re only in the first 2-part episode of Ahsoka & I’ve been saying that Marrok moves almost exactly like Starkiller (Sam Witwer). So let’s hope in the up & coming episodes of Ahsoka that it is him & you can see the Starkiller in Marrok 🎉
I think the creators of Mandolorian purposely put a reference to the first part of this in ahsokas scene where shes fighting and she darts in and out of sight turning her lightsabers on and off very similarly to how starkiller does. They did have the same master after all
I love seeing the force to its fullest power but the movies were always more restrained in how they used the force and I think it has a lot to do with writing. Once you let the cat out of the bag it's impossible to put it back in- you'll always wonder why Luke doesn't just obliterate everyone that opposes him.
@@LongToad Yeah, I mean Legends Luke would be too op for the movies, the guy could demolish entire armies with just a Force Push. And that is a small feat compared to some other stuff he could do.
The few fictional universes (such as SW, LOTR, 40k, TES, ...) that have existed with a solid and deep lore core for decades are themselves criticized by their most fervent fans for this exact reason "please there is so much greatness possible here, how are you not seeing this ?".
By universal laws understood, he probably wont care for obvious reasons ... but they should attempt that.... now, if hes not dead, that's a different story
Starkiller definitely deserves to return. With Sam Witwer voicing the character, and the character being like the Kratos of Star Wars, what’s not to like?
More reasons why Vader is such a badass villain (as if there weren't enough): *gets thrown through multiple metal walls and gets up like he fell on a mattress* *resists a shockwave that turned stormtroopers to literal ash like it was a gentle breeze* *an opponent who puts the fear of god in Jedis' hearts is just barely a challenge for him*
No he couldent if vader taught him it would be useless to use what he leanred from his own master against him. Starkiller never stood a chance if Vader wants to go all out and really get down to business.
@@pugmasterben ya we would. The one thing George Lucas did was have people expand the universe. The clone wars cgi and the animated versions. Even the video game world he let people expand that world.
Its the fans fails Bc ever since the prequel came out, many fans are toxic af to the movies and George Lucas saying the movies suck ass and saying George lucas is worse director and ever since he sold Star Wars to Disney, everyone started to hate Disney saying “sequels suck” and “we need to George Lucas back”
It would just go to easily for him though and if Rey can beat the emperor after he said I am all the sith starkiller would just be like you missed one and give him the fat back hand and he would be vaporised (starkiller too powerful)
“Star killer is overpowered for no reason, he’s worse than Rey” how stupid do you have to be to hold such an opinion. Starkiller was the product of a 2 Jedi’s having a child after the fall of the jedi order. He was Brutally trained by Vader (who was in his prime) for 15 years and was sent out to kill top ranking jedi masters like Shaak Ti. He is definitely nothing compared to Rey. And his family crest being the symbol of the rebellion is just a far better story than episode 7-9
@RadGaming_9 I watched the whole video, also grew up playing both Star Wars force unleashed games. Star Killer can be made into a realistic character. A far superior character than anything from episode 7-9
Kylo Ren is the only character that saves the new trilogy. He wants to be like his grandfather, but he can't and he is really complicated as a character (except in Ep. 9, but that's a shit film tbh). Rey is the worst character of the saga, without a doubt (not because she is a woman, I like a lot Ashoka for example), really flat character, she is there only to say "yeah girl power" and she is even the daughter of a clone, I mean, wtf. If a Palpatine clone needs Sheev's soul to work, and Rey's father isn't the good clone (so he has not any force power) how on earth Rey is a force-user? she literally has nothing to do with Palpatine, he isn't even her grandfather (you are not the father of your clones, Jango Fett would have like millions of sons, half of the galaxy has Jango as grandfather hahaha). So yeah, the SW saga ends with Anakin. I mean, was too difficult to make Luke protagonist again? We have tons of materials on Anakin, but only 3 movies and some non canonic comics on luke, he would have been perfect for this trilogy. The master who have to stop his apprentice, both of them in crisis
@@shadowstrider5033 no you are right he is not a gary stu, you know why. Because he loses. He has been seen to be totally defeated at least once in force unleashed 1. Now if he was a gary stu nothing could stop him and he would be undefeatable
I loved this character and I believe that he was definitely robbed of a big on scree debut but I guess when you become so overpowering that you are seen as a potential threat to a certain universe so they turn you into a giant space station instead.
@@tumsfestival8027 no, they just under power pretty much everything. Do you not remember the OG clone wars animation? Mace windu? Watching the prequels as a kid I was dumbfounded because I thought “why don’t the Jedi use their speed agility & force to just destroy all the droids?“ the idea that they’re so weak only started when the live action movies came out Real hard to accomplish the superhuman stuff they do in the comics & animation & then translate it onto screen making it look good. Mine you the prequels came out early 2000s
@@ocpsyconautv2958 cuz itd look stupid on screen. The clone wars animated shorts weren’t cannon. It was like dbz level power. And what do you mean “when the live action movies came out” as far as I’m concerned the only lore that really matters is the movies. All the extended universe stuff is secondary
why... could we not get movies like this!? Instead we get Ray crying about her parents while her diversity crew saves animals and Luke gets dumped on...
