With Star Wars Visions coming soon, I will be working on some Star Wars x Anime arrangements! I'm definitely doing a Star Wars x Attack on Titan mix. Comment if you have any cool mash-up ideas!
@@alejandroespinosa7542 Bit hard to make out from the masking, but what I believe was said was "sono tokyou wa mitokutei yo." I'm probably mishearing it (even with the volume up and listening closely), so take it with a grain of sand because of the difficulty in understanding. I did study Japanese for a good while, as well, but it's been some time so even then I could very well have this wrong.
Addendum: I didn't realize there was more, so second Japanese phrase by Grievous is, I believe (again, could be misunderstanding due to years of non-practice and effect masking), "Jedi no baka nee yo."
I’m Japanese. and Grievous said 「その度胸は認めてやろう」(“sono dokyou wa mitomete yarou”) It means “I’LL RECOGNIZE YOUR COURAGE ” The other one is 「ジェダイの馬鹿めが」(“jedai no baka me ga”) It means “Jedi scum.”
I mean, Star Wars was dubbed in Japanese i imagine when it was released over there, and I also presume the clone wars series was, so you could get all his lines in japanese from there.
Bro I did not expect for you to add so much Ghost Of Tsushima reference in the imperial match samurai style, that's INSANE and COOL. You totally aced it
What a fantastic adaptation reminds me of Ilan Eshkeri's music in many ways, especially the Imperial March! It's so beautiful, looking forward to more in this style
Ive just walked in my room from work, tired and exhausted. Just listening to this, I feel I can take on a horde of soldiers with one sword looool ! Thanks for the boost, great music as always !!!
Now that I have seen an anime with 2 Japanese Batleships having a lightsaber fight. I am convinced that this music will definitely be used as battle cries in the future
I need more epic samurai stuff. I can't get enough of this for my campaign setting in L5R! I'm taking people through the Scorpion Coup right now and this is just priceless!
Samuel kim simplified: epic musical youtuber who is literally the best at makeshift upon multiple pieces of music to make something entirely new yet still the same as previous music tracks which just sound so epic....❤
Samuel's pr team: "We need to post again." Samuel: "We just posted yesterday." Pr team: "If we post again today, it'll boost our ratings." Samuel: "Put all of my samurai star wars stuff in one video, then. And let's revamp it, too."
Sith samurai names: Shogun grievous. Ronin Maul. Samurai Ren. Sensei Palpatine. Swordsmen Vader. Sensei Dooku. Edit: each one is another meaning for samurai (or at least what I think they would be)
Nice try but you are wrong my friend A Shogun is the status above a samurai and below a daimyo I believe A Ronin is a rogue samurai wanderer kind of like an AWOL soldier Samurai is correct but Kylo Ren isn't much of on tbh A sensei is a teacher not a warrior A swordsmen is just someone skilled in using a sword
@@CriminallyCrimson yeah I know because looked up different words for samurai. But I didn’t want to explain what each name meant so thank you for explaining it for me
@@CriminallyCrimson A Shogun was the military regent of feudal Japan. So to simplify, the Shogun was above all the other Daimyo. The word, as far as I can tell, can apparently also be used to simply mean "general". So when Grievous/Obi-Wan call each other "(name)-shogun" in the japanese dub, they're just calling each other "General Kenobi/Grievous"
Po: "Hello there!" Kai: "Dragon Warrior! You are a bold one." *Unhooks jade jewels* Kai: "Kill him." Po: "Chitty chitty chat chat, chit chat!" Kai: "Back away! I will deal with this Kung Fu slime myself!" Po: "Your move!" Kai: "You fool! I was trained in your martial arts by Master Oogway." *Unhooks jade blades* Kai: "Attack Po..."
This is some of the best music I have ever heard. I can't name all the different emotions that the extrordinary melancholic songs bring forth. Such a mastermind made these arrangements.
oh that would be a very good idea i want a remix of samidare, spin and burst, itachis theme, orochimarus theme and sasukes cowboy theme a remix of bleach op 1 idk much about one piece coz never got around to watch it(im not that jobless yet)
A year ago, I wouldn’t been have able to recognize the little references, like Naruto‘s theme at 1:15, but as I’m listening to this almost a year later, I can, thanks to listening to Sam‘s music
I do a different theme for my Star Wars Day dinner every year, and this year is Japanese. Felt like it was a long shot to find a soundtrack to fit the theme but you’ve done it! This is amazing. Thank you!
I've been playing a lot of mk11 recently, and I was in the mood for listening to a lot of Japanese samurai music. I thought who would be any better than Samuel Kim he makes some great covers, listening to all of these is so cool I love star wars so for you to make it into a different style is amazing to keep up the work dude omg.
The way you combine the star wars themes with Japanese instruments is an absolute FAWKING MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!!!!!!😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Can i just say; the art for the video has given me a yearning for seeing this as a really badass over-the-top anime epic! A masterpiece attaining the level of Berserk, mayhap. 🤔
Such cool stuff! May I ask for one theme I've had on my noggin for a while? I think that Lenore's Death theme from Castlevania's season 4 finale would make such an awesome emotional cover. And you're the man who can make it work! Keep up the awesome stuff! My phone's almost out of memory from your music!
Every masterpiece *Star Wars: EPIC SAMURAI MUSIC MIX | Duel of The Fates, Imperial March, & More by Samuel Kim* also has a masterpiece *The entire OST of Star Wars Visions*
