These trailers are literally just abridged versions of the movies... Why give everything away in the trailer? I'm so glad I never saw these before the movies as a kid.

I just rewatched this movie and I'm so impressed with the sheer variety of species, machines and wildlife. Attack of The Clones has the strongest sense of adventure of all the Stat Wars movies.

I saw this in theaters when I was 6 and it was my first ever Star Wars movie. To me, this movie will always feel the most like Star Wars because it’s what introduced me to the franchise.

The Prequel Trilogy is seriously underrated. I mean, the hate for them is just ridiculously overblown and exaggerated beyond belief. Unlike those idiots who say that there is nothing good about them and consider them inferior to just about everything, I am actually able to enjoy them for what they bring to Star Wars and for being good movies in general. Why people are so blinded by their hate and nostalgia is beyond me.

Just curious, but how many of you out there share the same view as I do: I was born in 1998 and thus grew up watching the prequel trilogy, so naturally I loved them. Now later in life (wow, a whole 16 years old :P) after re watching them and hearing all the complaints against them....I still love them, with AOTC remaining my favrioute film of all time. Anyone else?

Still one of my favorite trailers of all time. This is because of all the story, music, action, and anticipation of seeing so many Jedi on screen at once for the first time. Still gives me chills.

One thing I loved about Ep 1-3 is how huge everything was; galaxy wide events and its overall effects on society . An interesting balance compared to the somehow smaller scale of Ep. 4-6, something that kinda made sense: the prequels were dominated by the pursuit for massive power through deceit and evil (crowned by Revenge of the Sith). while the originals were more about the search for hope through love and the unlikely victory of the good guys (crowned by Return of the Jedi). Ep.7-9 still felt kinda small...we never really got to see the galaxy wide effects which is fine. If they ever do make Ep 10-12 (which I'm sure they haven't completly rulled out) it would be nice to have a wide scale feel to it, similar to the prequels, and finally end the saga in a real balance, and just maybe see how much the galaxy has changed in say 100 years after The Phantom Menace.

I think this was the best movie. I liked Padmé and Anakin relationship.

Attack of the clones used to be my least favorite out of the prequels but now I think it might be my favorite out of the prequels.theres so many good things about Attack of the clones

HAH! The trailer tells you nearly everything that happens in the movie.

I think they're great! Just as great as the original three! They're all very important to the story line and it really shows the development of the characters and makes you think. It's fine if you don't like them that much, but why ruin what other people love? Everyone has different movie tastes.

I miss being excited for star wars movies

I grew up watching the prequels. I was 8, 11, and 14 when they each came out. I enjoyed them all very much. Now that I'm older I do see their faults as they do have big ones. I think watching them as a child was easier for me. The adults who grew up with the originals had incredible expectations for them and the films ended up being more for children except Episode III. I now of course like the originals a lot more but I still like the prequels. I'm going into Episode VII with little expectations and hopefully it comes out as a wonderful surprise. Star Wars for life!

I don't understand why people hate the prequels. I for one am far more connected with Anikan Slywalker than Luke. It has it's downfalls but episode 3 and Yoda a lot more than any other

Honestly, I liked this movie. Idk why people hate on it so much I mean I understand that some don't like the many love scenes and stuff and the high amount of cgi usage BUT the story was great and you really get introduced to a lot of new characters( Boba Fett , Count Dooku, a lot of jedis for example ) and how the clone wars actually started. And it shows how close obi wan and anakin were...

I actually like Phantom Menace better than Attack of the Clones. I hated all the romance scenes as a kid and the best battles were too short. I always looked forward to the lightsaber duels but the Dooku duel felt so short, even with Yoda jumping in.

Unpopular opinion here, but attack of the Clones was my favorite of the prequels. The prequels were known for their eye-candy CGI and AoTC had some of the best in the Trilogy. Also, the cheesy and awkward love scenes between Anakin and Padme have grown on me over the years, while the "Are you an angel?" scene with Anakin and Padme from The Phantom Menace will never not be cringy.

that's actually a major plot point, It's covered in the clone wars show as well. The Jedi order diverged from being keepers of the peace to becoming generals and soldiers of the republic. The order became quite unpopular in the eyes of citizens, and therefore it was easy for sidius to kill them off in the third movie.

Wow...watching this trailer already gave me all the info needed from this movie: 1.- The clones are created from Jango 2.- Anakin grew up 3.- The Dark Side is behind everything 4.- The special effects are great. Therefore I don't even need to watch the actual movie. Nice.

The first time I saw this trailer was the most hyped I ever was for Star Wars. Things have gone down hill since then quite a bit.

I am happy I was born in 95 and watched this movie not through the eyes of an older fan. I genuinly enjoyed the prequels, because I wasnt aware of all the criticism and just watched it with an open mind. Watching Revenge of the sith in the cinema made me fell in love with star wars. Haven't seen a better star wars movie since then.

Say what you want about the prequels. In my opinion, they’re not as bad as people make them out to be.

I can say I enjoyed this movie a lot more than The Last Jedi. And let's be honest, Padme was hot in this one.

Why must our community be split up in two between prequel trilogy haters, and fans who love all SW movies? A lot of the problems I often see are too high expectations, and 70's/80's fans who think they're entitled to making the decisions on what is good in SW...even over to the 90's-000's generation of fans.

Sure it wasn't the best, but you have to admit the battle of geonosis is one of the coolest Star Wars battles ever created

I love star wars, all of them. But on a whole different subject. Seeing all the hate on the excessive CGI in these movies, I can really feel the pain. I think Peter Jackson mad the same CGI-fuckup mistake with the Hobbit Trilogy that George Lucas made with the Star Wars prequels.

I remember watching this trailer for the first time in a CompUSA. The trailer was shown on a Mac with the program Quicktime. I was amazed at how fast it loaded the video. I miss those times.

Whether the "old fans" of Star Wars like it or not, you have to find SOME appreciation for these movies. They make up the saga after all! And if you don't like 'em, there's always the sequel trilogy.

Still can't believe Christopher Lee is gone. It feels like just yesterday I was watching this film in theaters and had my brother jab me in the shoulder and say that's Saurman, he has to be the coolest actor ever!

The first time I saw this trailer I was 12 standing in walmart looking at starwars legos when it played on the overhead TV. I completely lost my mind from 2:00 onward with each little glimpse of all the lightsabers during the arena fight. We'd never seen more than 2 green/blue lightsabers on-screen at once, and it made this trailer so hype.
