Might've had the same issue as the original Lego Star Wars had, by releasing the games before the movie itself they couldn't actually use any of the movie soundtrack

Actually these enemies are just modelled after the CIS droids. They were supposed to be some sort of automatic protection system i think but it is most likely possible that the creators wanted to fill the game a littlebit with the creation of an extra level like this. After all it was mostly played by children who didn't really care about such details.
Only handful of people knew about Palpatine's true nature. Count Dooku knew about it...I don't think even Greivous knew about it. It was necessary to keep it a secret. So obviously the droids too had no idea about it.
Made no sense Anakin had to fight his way to the chancellor office at all really, much less fighting seppy Droids in Coruscant. Guess they just wanted to add a stage for the player to fight instead of going into a boss fight instantly.
This happend to me. For me it was honestly a surprise to see Anakin turn evil, because even though I watched the original trilogy, I didn't quite understood that Anakin from the Prequels is Darth Vader. So when Anakin became Vader in this game my young self was absolutely caught offguard
@@mareklonestar7053 That must’ve been weird since the games got some of the things from the movie wrong. Like how in the movie, Anakin turns to the dark side to save padme from dying and beloved taking out the Jedi, believing that they were the “evil” ones, would restore peace to the galaxy. In here though,he pretty much turns because he didn’t get a promotion. Lol It’s funny since the games involving revenge of the sith came out before the actual movie did. It got some things wrong but it spoiled the damn movie.
@@mareklonestar7053 Same here, I felt hurt to find out my favorite hero became the imfamous villian, Darth Vader. As I got older though, I began to love his whole character arc and the fact that he's Darth Vader

Thank you for posting this! When I was a kid, I used to go to a video game store where they had a bunch of consoles set up for people to try various games. They had Nintendo DS's there for some time, and this was one of the games! I remember playing this game, but could never get past level 4 where you had to escape in 1 minute (I never figured out how to run...)
Probably one of the games I ever played the most, I remember I could almost do the entire game without losing a single health point, I absolutely loved it (was 8-ish back then)
Episode III is the best film in the entire Star Wars series. Masturbate on the original trilogy, and hate prequels, because it's fashionable, I'm not going to.

I grew up with the clone wars and the prequels from the LEGO Star Wars games so it caused me to like clones over storm troopers same with droids over rebels. Basically the prequels is my Star Wars and I want it to stay that way plus the Disney sequels made the Star Wars franchise worse in my opinion.
I suddenly remembered sitting on my parents bed as a boy playing this game. I asked my dad what upgrade I should buy. He said he didn’t know 😅. We’re so innocent as kids. That was maybe 18 years ago. I’ve got two little nephews now that I dote on and who ask me silly questions.

I got my Nintendo DS and this game for Christmas about a decade ago and it kicked ass. I remember playing it so many times I was able to go through all the boss fights and never get hit on master difficulty. My favorite part was strangling people with the Force.
Yeah, he seems to really enjoy being evil, a stark contrast to the movie version. Also the portraits they use look pretty good. It doesn't realky feel like "Darth Vader" but I kinda like it

I had the GBA version too. This seems to be a remake or re-release, the only difference being the 3D flying levels which werent in the GBA game. Also the character portraits look a bit nicer than I remember.
This brings me back. I remember getting stuck on the Obi Wan part on Utapau where you fight a bunch of the slugs and golden magnaguards. Then one time I booted up the game and everything for both stories was unlocked, so I played some of the Anakin Mustafar stuff that I had never gotten too. Then the next time I played it everything went back to how it was before and all the levels I didn't get to were locked again
