Cool stuff from this collection catalog. Thanks! The November Jabba looks cool along with the Jabba Palace and Katana too. Nice details. I like that Yoda ring earlier in the video.

Yeah the Yoda ring is kind of intriguing. But I don’t trust any of the images on their website so it’s hard to know what it really looks like

@@BlackArroToons I don't think I ever heard of this company. It reminds me of something akin to Hallmark ornaments...which rarely have good sculpts when it comes to non toon characters. Or something like Rawcliffe pewter figures. Their Star Trek/Wars items were my introduction into "fancy" collectibles. Now that I recall, they remind me of those magazines that come with little model ships/figures.

I bought the Han Solo Bespin jacket and I gotta say I wear it to work all the time it's comfortable lightweight and I'm very happy with it.

The palace and barge are actually pretty good looking, but that Jabba bust just makes me chuckle -- he looks more like a Clone Wars version than a Return of the Jedi one. Also, that train is really neat; when I was a kid I saw a JLA (Justice League of America) train in a hobby shop, and ever since then it made me want a similar piece for my Super Mario collection.

Would love to hear your take on the Swarovski Figurines for Star Wars too even though not much of a jabba theme. The Luke looks like he's a batter-up pose for a baseball game :D

I came here after seeing the ad for the Mos Eisley Cantina set, because I knew there was no way the Luke (and Ben) figures looked as good as the photo presented. Boy was I right! Yikes, I'm surprised they can get away with that kind of false advertising. I do like the building though. I was disappointed that the collection was of various scenes throughout the films. I was hoping it was more of a true "village" collection, with different Mos Eisley buildings that could all be put together like a Star Wars version of a Christmas village that you'd see on a fireplace mantel. I would have subscribed for that.

I remember seeing ads for the Village thing when I was a kid, it was in some comic book. They used the same pictures and everything - the second I saw you scrolling the website I had major Dejavu. How are these selling still, when you consider that all other collectibles have made massive jumps in quality over the last decade or so?

I think they mostly are selling to a different audience -- people who aren't very aware of what else is out there, or who don't really care that much about collectibles and just want one thing as a decoration or gift

During my latest Wookipedia expedition I was checking out the voice for Jabba (Larry Ward, also Greedo's voice =)) and stumbled upon the "Azmorigan" concept picture of Jabba on his main page. That got me thinking; We all know about the Declan Mulholland jabba, and the concept art of how they originally imagined Jabba. Then we have the manquettes of him as a "slug" and a creature on a throne. And Marvels Nimbanel version. maybe there are more of them. Do you have a collection of all his different concept variants? It would be a nice meta section of you incredible Jabba collection =)

I do actually hope to be able to make some 3D printed statues of some of the early Jabba concept artwork at some point. And I will certainly try to make a human/Declan Mulholland figure sooner or later.

It may be that my vision is getting worse as I get older, but I do think she's smaller than the 25mm miniatures I used to paint. It's not a great paint job by any means, but I don't think I could do better at that scale. That Luke though is a hot mess

I thought the detail work on the village figures was pretty good actually. Maybe I just don't see many miniatures, but I'm (perhaps easily) impressed by the detail they got on there despite how small they are. Solely talking about the ones you have though, I'm not gonna defend that scary Luke lol

Agree. They aren’t THAT bad (other than Luke). However, I can’t defend Bradford’s use of those misleading photos on their site

Bradford stuff and the like always has that sort of cheap but expensive look to it. It's not really that "bad" but it could be better for the price.

I don't know, but I believe they have a UK site at least. Of course you need to be cautious about relying on their photos. Maybe try and find some in-hand photos first.

Just stumbled on your channel by the grace of the mother tongue of criminals from across the galaxy and i gotta say, i’m in utter awe. i’ve been searching for this content for all of my youth and now that i’m in the middle of a Jabba bike build. i feel like i’ve found my muse. do you have any recommendations for quality made keychains of han in carbonite or Slave-1. or a link to a quality color palate for Jabba. if you can thank you so much either way keep collecting and cranking these gems out. 🫡

I’m not sure if I can point you to specific keychains but I think there have been some over the years. Maybe search eBay if you haven’t. I did write a series of articles about the color of Jabba on my old website if that is any help: mightyjabba.com/articles/
