Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes: Fleet Shipments Farming Guide 101 

Just to clarify: My overall recommendation was not to disregard farming ships whatsoever but instead farm ships in Galactic War since you can farm most of the ships from fleet shipments in there. Most of you understood what I meant but some of you thought I reached a different conclusion so I just wanted to clear up some things. I explain this in my follow up video where we talk about GW shipment advice!

I'm done farming Sunfac. What I have plan is to farm Rex in guild store. In fleet shipments I'm gonna do Zeta, along with Vader and Slave 1, since they only appear like once a week

Ships first because they unlock the rest. Especially ships for the Ability Material challenge which requires Executrix which requires 5x 5* Darkside ships. Ships require pilots so I could see getting either Maul or Sun Fac as a character in that priority tree.

I just got to level 60 so this is useful. I wish the fleet shipments were fixed so I could just farm Darth Maul now that he's good

IMO getting ships and finally getting that Zeta on the dark side challenge is the way to go. All the time used buying them from the shipments VS. the time getting it by way of challenge will pay off in the long run. And u said it, ship shipments are the way to go. Staying in the ships lead will open up Rex/Sun Fac and Zetas given enough time. And the tournament for Vader's ship should have been done with ships not heroes. It pretty much guarantees 99% of the people that dominated last tourney will do the same this one. Since ships are new, granted people bought extra blueprints, but if someone who is fairly new did the same,,, it could be the most balanced tourney this game will ever see. It's only been a week so there is only so far the gap can get. If they do ship tourneys later on,,, that gap will get exponentially larger with time. Plus if it something they just brought to the game and plan to keep it,, what better way to get people into ships than to have a tourney right away for,,, u guessed it,,, AN EXCLUSIVE SHIP.

Farming ships first, then clones, also supplementing other high priority farming (Wedge, etc) Staying sub rank #200 is nice, 1200 ship shards a day makes for at least three picks.

Doing the occasional Sun Fac atm, but also rushing building up the easy farm ships with their pilot counterparts as a higher priority. Why? 7* ship mat challenges. That alone is going to make the omega and zeta farm breeze by that much faster than by shipments alone. My theory is that being able to upgrade more characters more quickly will prove more useful in the long run than setting myself back further by gunning for more characters that are just going to take that much longer to max out anyway by skimping out on ship development.

Farming ships is important. Staying competitive will give at least 400 currency per day over people who don't farm ships. That's an entire fleet shipment.

Like you said, I don't really care too much about ships. As long as I'm in the top 500, I'm fine. I've been farming grievous cause I want him for my droid team. He's 55/80 and I can't hold in my excitement :)

You recommend not farming characters that can be found in other locations but if you want to participate in raids or have a high star arena team, shouldn't you aim for characters that can be found in multiple locations to get them faster to 7*?

It's not very hard for me to stay right around rank 100 and get 1200 credits everyday.

I'm working on Ship Toons and Ships like Resistance Pilot, because I never farmed them in the past, so I can maintain a top 100 rank in Ship Arena, because it gets really competitive really fast.

For me I am farming ship blueprints till I have a collection of 5 star ships at minimum so I can qualify for the highest tier of Ship Ability Materials challenge that does give Zeta and Omega mats, the faster I can get that unlocked the faster I can start farming them to enhance the characters I do have maxed out then when that is done then start working on the characters I don't have yet.

This video should maybe be updated. In my opinion you should farm: vader, chirrut, rex, Maul and sun fac. Then ships/zetas

I've got Darth Vader and Bistan in these shipments.

(MY OPINION) I disagree with your advice to do characters over blueprints. I think you need to get ships now and if you wait you until ships are actually necessary, you will definitely pay for it in the future. They may not implement anything for ships in the next couple months, but they will be used eventually. I don't see the advantage of waiting out for a couple characters you really don't need. I don't have sun fac or Rex and I could care less. They aren't necessary, but ships will be necessary.

im using my fleet shipments on ships, so i can unlock the higher tiers in the fleet events, and always have atleast 400 in backup, so when it refreshes and slave 1 is availible I buy that, since that's the only place to get it, unless you pay hard cash

not as bad as the grievous farm..but was purchasing sun fac via shipments (crystals) for awhile..now he is available for fleet. if only i had known.. :)

Neither Rex or Sun Fac are required to be competitive in both heroic AAT and rank1 Arena. Getting 8 5* ships ASAP to begin farming zetas is min/maxin your time. While this video is a good opinion, it's not optimal.

Spending it on zeta mats is horrible, you should definitely farm ships since you can farm the zeta mats that way.If you then need to farm the toons first or not is another discussion but should not spend it on zetas for like.. 2months at least

zeta is avaible in the ships but i believe they need to be 7*

I'm getting top 50-100 depending if I do more then one battle each day so guarantee to get 3 purchase a day, currently farming sun fac but at 10 shards a day along side his ship at 4 a day I split it in gw as well I farm one or two specific ships and one toon if I don't see a ship I'm farming I buy more shards for the toon that day, almost at 6* sun fac and 4* for his ship. strictly f2p so no shards from packs for either.

Its funny cause I never thought about Rex and Sun Fac since they werent accessible for a f2p like me but now I'm so confused. I guess I'll go with Sun Fac since my only debuffer is QGJ in GW and when he's dead its kinda hard to keep on with big teams with a taunt like STH. And also I use RG on my Arena team with Biggs/Lando/Wedge and Rey, He could easily replace my RG on this team, right? I'll just lose a potential stun. If I plan on keeping my Wedge lead (for the healing for my 3 rebels + turn meter bonuses), there's really no need to rush Rex? Its only other use is his potency up thing right?

Ahnald, I am confused. Yesterday Wedge was in my fleet shipments but he isn't today. Does it run on a schedule, and if so can u tell me what it is.

so ive been farming sun fac but sometimes I dont see his shards, should I buy rex shards instead? or ship blueprints? or hold on to the currency? I don't want to spend crystals to refresh

Should i work on my rey or lando ( i havent unlocked wither of them) but i have about 18 shards on lando and 16 on rey

What about darth maul! He's meant to be good now and his ship is amazing, you should never buy zeta mat from the fleet shipments. You get it then from fleet challenges

my server is dead and im at 50 in ships with 1 2 3 star ships

Can u do arena shipments. I farmed so much Savage in it to 6 Star. And I'm doing to unlock Eeth Koth now for the Yoda Event. I'm limited on Jedi. I heard Sidious became terrible so that's way I didn't farm him.

No no no no! Farming zetas is a terrible idea. On average you can get - every 2'or 3 days depending on your rank. That's 40-60 days to zeta just one character. Go for Rex or Sun Fac yes but get thenships needed to unlock the challenge to get Zetas
